It's not actually free with a purchase from the café. It has a 150 THB per person fee if you want to use the co-working space, however it is free if you are staying at the COSI hotel. The music as other reviewers here and elsewhere have said is so loud that even if it were just a café I'd find it intrusive. Even with headphones in you can still hear it. I would also so that the air-con as with other places in Thailand is so cold that you might want to bring a coat. The desk space downstairs is fine and there is one big desk that is adequate upstairs (with four stations). The other table areas have soft sofas next to them which makes it very unergonomic and not adapted for working.

Short energizing stay for a focused working experience

I had to search a bit for the location after realizing that it is directly in the lobby of the COSI Hotel. The Lower level is a nice place with tables to work on a fixed target. For kreative or unfocused work its a bit noisy and dynamic. All the time new persons come in and go. So if you can't focus yourself the upper level is maybe better for you. There are more asian like sitting areas which are used for resting of the arrivals of the hotel. As a working place it's a more difficult one. I haven't seen power sources but I haven't been in the upper level so long, because I can't sit so "relaxed" for work much long. The WIFI seams strong. In the time of my stay at least 3 other working people were in the lower level. Because the Lobby sells snacks, food and drinks for usual prices you can get almost all you need for the stay. Unfortunately there was loud music planing all time in the lower level. I don't know how much you can hear in the upper level but I think, it will not be much quieter. Because of the Lobby there is no entrance fee. You should bye some things for the WIFI access. Although you just can login with facebook/twitter/instagram as well. You need different logins for different devices. Because of the location in the festival central you have access to all kind of shops and restaurant in the mall.
