About Lima

Lima serves as the capital of Peruvian gastronomy and modern culture, a sprawling metropolis of Spanish colonialism, tangled highways, beautiful coasts, and a pulsating nightlife. You can catch a folklore show, browse the many pottery and art museums and galleries, or, perhaps most importantly, eat. Eat a lot.

Peruvian culinary delights are well known throughout Latin America and Lima lies at the heart of it all. From traditional creole dishes to edgy high end offerings, one can find all manner of exquisite dining experiences throughout the city.

Ultra-fast internet can be hard to find, but budding entrepreneurs are not. Lima is zipping with economic growth and opportunity with a diverse blend of nomads and locals alike. At night a number of chic clubs, laid back bars, and active cafes can provide entertainment until the clock winds down. During the day interesting religious sites and churches can provide a unique setting for sight seeing. Many come to Lima thinking they’ll stay a day or two but finding themselves pulled into staying longer. Though Peru has many things to offer in various other corners, nowhere does its elements come together to shine quite as brightly as in Lima.
