Make sure you check out the 100 meter-high tower of the 14th Century Gothic building, The Grote of Saint Jacobskerk, where 51 bells were added in 1959 to the tower. There are numerous monuments, grave-slabs and a carved wooden pulpit from 1550.
Don't leave without looking at the gigantic painting, Panorama Mesdag, a 3D circular artwork that is the largest in the world. Check out The Mauritshuis, a residence built in 1641 that houses The Hague's most important museum. You can meander through the district of Duinoord, or hang out in one of the country's oldest forests from the Middle Ages at the Haagse Bos and Huis ten Bosch parks.
