About Delta
A part of Greater Vancouver, Delta is perched in the south of Richmond bordered by the Fraser River, the city of Surrey and the United States. A small town, it's composed of 3 distinct communities: North Delta, Tsawwassen and Ladner. Delta was relatively isolated until the George Massey Tunnel was constructed in 1959 and the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal was created in 1960 linking it to the rest of the world. Its first European settlers arrived in 1860 when it became a farming and fishing enclave. Delta has a population of about 102,655 folks meandering its streets, knocking back a few Moosehead lagers or hanging out in a coworking venue getting creative with likeminded souls.

The government is empowering new companies by hosting technology industry events featuring some of the world's best innovators and attracting international talent to work on world-changing innovations. The number of skilled foreign workers is skyrocketing, and many scaling firms are actively hiring from overseas. The public and commercial sectors are supporting entrepreneurial communities by connecting them with the best academic institutions and businesses.
Coworking venues are but one more space for the out-of-the-box thinkers to gather en masse in collaborative mode to get their stuff done with a grin on their faces.
