Visual nice working place with hopefully more to come
15.04.2019I had a free day pass from coworker.com and wanted to experience this location before determine if I want to be there more often. Unfortunately free day passes are always on sundays and these might be a very lonely day there. First of all you have to find the place. There is no sign from the main road and it is a very small street corner you have to know to get. After it, its pretty much good to get there by the signs for the mantra resort. The street itself is a little rough and cliffy but usual for Thailand. After I was brought to the lounge there should be a service personal to guide me but for at least an hour there where nobody. After the personal shown up she was nice and helpful. The WIFI isn't as strong as the place suggested. I think if the lounge is at full capacity you might get problems with the internet. I even had some problems all alone with the bandwidth. I will probably try a halfday pass for 300 Baht in the weekdays just to look if anything changes. But currently the fullday for 600 or halfday for 300 baht is a very high price. The place looks fancy but the working stations aren't very comfortable for a longer stay. There is a whiteboard and a large TV for presentations but it looks more like the interior was made by a person who never worked in such a place. The power sources are well reachable. Unfortunately there is only a large bottle of water with small glasses, some cookies and some (green thai) oranges. You get coffee for free but for me the price is too high for all together. The look is amazing other the north of the island and Koh Phangan. The Air Con was petty good. A bit to cold for my taste but if the place get filled I guess it's ok. Therefore I hope in the week are more people there and they extend the goodies for the prices e.g. a larger variety of fruits or some sandwiches. Of cause you can always order some food from the restaurant - which is most likely intended.
