About Cambridge

A city of "squares" -  Kendall Square, Central Square, Harvard Square, Porter Square, Lechmere Square and Inman Square - Cambridge sits in the Boston metropolitan area in Middlesex County.  Think geeks and super intelligence, where two of the world's most prominent universities, Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are based.

You won't get bored and need to twiddle your thumbs in this city as apart from "museums ad nauseum" of art and natural history to feed the brain waves, you can take in a theater show or do the rounds of the "squares" lined with cafes, restaurants and boutique shops for those that need some retail therapy.  Harvard Square is renowned for its street performers and is a delightful way to spend an afternoon of people watching.  It is possible to take a "Hahvahd" (aka Harvard) Tour around the university or jump on a boat to check out the views from the Charles River Basin and the Boston Harbor.

If you are more into self-indulgence of the non-brain exhausting type, take a city wine tour where you can sample your way around the restaurants and wine shops in the town.  Whilst the ultimate for the caffeine addict must be a visit to the "Café ArtScience" where you can actually partake of "inhaling" your morning coffee.
