About Bradford

A town in Orange County of Vermont, Bradford has a "little" population of 2,797 souls meandering its streets, so you will have plenty of chance to meet up with most of them either in a local cafe whilst slurping espresso, or in a coworking venue where they may have their heads together in collaborative mode.

The city of Bradford borders both the Connecticut River and New Hampshire and is the commercial hub for the surrounding towns. Once named "Wait's River Town" or "Waitstown", it was established in 1770 when the town was named "Mooretown". Yes, its naming issues do get a bit confusing. Bradford didn't become "Bradford" until 1788. You will find everything you need by way of cafes and shops so that you can get on with your day and when you have time for some contemplative moments there are some amazing views to be had from Waits River Valley, the White Mountains and also the Connecticut River Valley. The town has its own historic district that is on the National Register of Historic Places, so you poke your nose around if you are into a bit of history.

Bradford is no tech hub per se, but it does have a number of innovative out-of-the-box thinkers meandering around and hanging out in coworking spaces getting their work done without the hassle of having to deal with any "big smoke" issues.
