About Cohasset
A small seaside town in Massachusetts, Cohasset is relatively easy to navigate via walking power, pedaling exercise or for the lazy bods by car. Sitting in Norfolk County that is one of the wealthiest counties in Massachusetts, it is approximately 20 miles southeast of Boston. Located where Boston Harbor ends and the Massachusetts Bay begins on the "corner" of the South Shore, the town has several rivers running through it and has a rocky shoreline. Part of the town is taken over by the Wompatuck State Park, as well as the Whitney & Thayer Woods Reservation.
For the water lover there are 3 beaches within the bay where you can find the Cohasset Yacht Club, the Cohasset Sailing Club and a place to launch your boat in the Cohasset Harbor. There is a Maritime Museum to poke your nose into to check out the maritime history of the area, but that is about it for sights to see. There are quite a few cafes and restaurants to hang in, dotted around the town.
If you don't want to get lost in the woods or sail your yacht, you can always escape to Boston when slurping on coffee gets too much.
