About Lawrenceville

Sitting in the county of Gwinnett, Lawrenceville is a city and a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. Named after Captain James Lawrence, the commander of the frigate Chesapeake, Lawrenceville is the second oldest city in the metropolitan Atlanta area, established in 1821. The town was the scene of the shooting of Hustler Magazine's publisher, Larry Flynt, in 1978 when he was facing obscenity charges and is home to the headquarters of the Presbyterian Church in America.

There doesn't seem to be much here from a tourist point of view, but you could always get friendly with the locals to find out what they get up to.
