The votes have been counted, and we’re thrilled to announce the winners of the 2019 Coworker Members’ Choice Awards!

The Coworker Members’ Choice Awards are the only global coworking industry awards based on feedback from thousands of coworking space members around the world. This year, we are thrilled to recognize 529 coworking spaces from our network of over 12,000 spaces as being the best spaces in their cities.

The Coworker Members’ Choice Award is given to only one coworking space in each city — granting big-time bragging rights to that space and numerous other benefits, like increased brand recognition.

Upon counting and analyzing the results of thousands of votes, we are excited to announce the official winners of the 2019 CMCAs. After all, why should TripAdvisor and Yelp have all the fun!?

Coworker’s process this year

Thanks in part to the overwhelming amount of participation in last year’s program, the Coworker team decided to develop a new nomination, voting, and ranking process for 2019. Any coworking space that’s currently registered on Coworker was automatically one of our nominees. Voting this year opened on June 10 and closed on July 1.

After the window for voting closed, we determined a space’s individual score by a weighted score of:

Percentage of members who participate

Score from the nomination results

Number of reviews on Coworker

Average Coworker review rating

This ensures that coworking spaces of all shapes and sizes had an equal, fair shot at winning the award for their city!

What do the winning spaces actually win?

As a token of our appreciation for participating in the CMCAs, every space operator will receive a trends report published, using aggregate data collected from our results. This will be delivered to spaces in September once we’ve analyzed the data.

The top space in each category will also receive a prize kit, including stickers, digital collateral, and creative assets for promotional use in marketing materials. Be on the lookout for these kits in the post in the coming weeks!

Five lucky members who participated have also won an $100 credit toward coworking. This can be used any way the winners want on Coworker, including Day Pass bookings or membership packages. The winners of the credit are Todd Arkley (Seattle, Washington, USA), Eslam (Cairo, Egypt), Sarah Schafer (Cape Town, South Africa), Swapnali Paste (Mumbai, India), and Joshua Bogado (Ascuncion, Paraguay)!

We’d like to say a big thanks to all of our participants this year.

The CMCAs wouldn’t be possible without coworkers like you!

Time to celebrate!
