As the capital of Shaanxi Province in central China, Xi’an is a large city once known as Chang’an (Eternal Peace) that marks the Silk Road’s eastern end. Xi’an was once home to the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties’ ruling houses and is one of the oldest Chinese cities. Since the 1980s as part of the economic growth of inland CHina, Xi’an has re-emerged as a cultural, industrial, political, and educational center for the entire central-northwest region in China, making it a great destination for entrepreneurs and enterprise teams of all sizes to find a flexible workspace in the city limits.
Xi’an is the third most populous city in Western China and the most populous city in Northwestern China, and it is home to 60 universities including several prestigious ones such as Xi’an Jiaotong University and Northwestern Polytechnical University. The city is also home to the infamous UNESCO World Heritage set Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.
