About Pedreguer

A small town in the province of Alicante in Spain, Pedreguer sits at the foot of the Muntanya Gran and super close to 2 larger coastal towns, Denia and Xabia. With a population of only 7097 souls, you won't get lost in town and you will be a part of a friendly community. For the intrepid tech savvy folks, coworking spaces have begun to appear in its streets to alleviate the need for invading a cafe or sitting at home alone searching for inspiration and listening to the clanging of the washing machine.

Pedreguer is close to the Jalon Valley that is famous for its springtime almond tree blossom and the highlight of the week is the "Pedreguer Rastro" held every Sunday morning. A pseudo flea market with fresh produce for sale, people come from all over Costa Blanca to set up their stalls of home made chutneys, jams and other goodies. Here you will also find leather goods from hats to bags that Pedreguer is well known for. The town of festivals, it has more of a village feel than a township with plenty of family run establishments dishing up awesome food plus local bars serving great wine and tapas.

Pedreguer is the gateway to the stunning Orba Valley that is known for its orange groves and has its own bull running festival dedicated to Sant Bonaventura, if you happen to miss out on the one in Pamplona. An original village of houses painted vivid colors, the nearby Gata de Gorgos is famous for its wicker furniture shops. When you need a break from doing your important stuff or maybe your brain is about to implode, you can always check out the market square with cast-iron pillars, wooden beams and Arabic tiles and go back to your coworking venue ready to completely redecorate your home with a bit of medieval flair.
