Coworking Space: Nova Iskra Workspace - Savamala in Belgrade

I tried out Nova Iskra for a day and I loved it. Upon arriving, I was given an info packet and as a graphic designer, absolutely loved the branding and layout! The space itself is beautiful and lots of areas to work from. The internet was fantastic and the people were friendly and accommodating. As I was only in Belgrade for a couple days, I didn't get the chance to head back but it is a good, quiet environment with a fantastic outdoor chill area too. If you ever find yourself in Belgrade, this is the one I fully recommend!

One of the best coworkings I've been working from. Cosy, beautiful place, free large screens included, great internet connection, great terrace, and even darts for those short breaks. I've been to tens of coworkings so far, and this is among my 2 favorite ones in the world, not just in Belgrade. The team is extremely helpful and friendly, the workspace is comfortable, it has really nice conference rooms and a little skype room. The internet is fast. Only 2 downsides - the co-working closes at 7pm, and not much food is available around. But even with that - I would definitely come here again.

Thank you, guys! You're amazing! The place is good, comfortable for working. There are 3 meeting rooms 2 of them with good technical equipment and the one for short phone calls or meeting calls. Wifi is good and fast. This is one of the important options what I need because I am a freelancer. Coworking has a big screens for work. As a designer, I need a big screen for work, and this is a second important condition for me. Third and equally important piece - a team of the workspace. Guys really supportive and friendly. I want to say thank you to Bjanka Gabrić. She is a really great assistant for me. She is considerate, kindhearted and just nice person who helps you resolve any issue what you need. Bjanka thank you a lot. I'm your fan. Nova Iskra has a green terrace with tables, a cat, and a big kitchen with any stuff what you need. I recommend this place. Enjoy your working space guys!

I'm a digital nomad exploring different spaces around eastern Europe at the moment and came across this space in my last day in Belgrade. Their space is really open and nicely decorated. They play a nice background music which is not loud at all it only adds a nice vibe to the environment. It has a great patio if you come here in summer to have some fresh air. The workstations count with great desktop space and ergonomic chairs even for the hot desk which is not really common around Coworking spaces. Definitly worth checking out while you are visiting belgrade.

Too old to be a coworker, but great fan of Nova iskra from the beginning. Collaborating on many projects, also giving few lectures there. One of the most pleasant places for creatives in Belgrade. Not just because of good location in Savamala in the centre of town, but mostly becase of fantastic team, always friendly and willing to help in any situation. Definitely best lectures line-up in town. A lot of free programs for starters in any field of design. I think their role in society of creatives is much bigger than just being self-sufficient beautifully designed coworking space. And garden... oh... a showcase how Belgrade could look like.

The most pleasant, motivating and inspiring coworking space in Belgrade. It has an amazing energy that boosts productivity and creativity without the feeling of boredom or some sterile office atmosphere. Space is beautifully decorated, creating just the right balance between minimalistic and warm home-like atmosphere. Residents' pets are also often around, which is a great antistress "feature" of the place :-) The location is also convenient as it is not in the most crowded part of the city center, so it's usually easy to find the parking. Moreover, there's a garden on the terrace, so we can even grow our own spices :-)

Great location that is very central and allows for easy access via public transporation and car (parking facility is nearby). The moder design of the space as well smart plan of the open space make this place confortable, inspirational and also very productive. the space allows not only possibility for individual work but also there are very good meeting and traiing facitilies. Lounge space, kitchen, labrary and great terrace are just ideal for meetings, discussions and work in small groups. There you can also meet some great people to inspire, support, share knowledge and help. Community that is around Nova Iskra is just uniqu! Nova Iskra is the most beautiful and unique coworking spaces in Belgrade. The community and hosts are great and space is very inspiring. The garden on the balcony is amazing and the space has all necessary amenities that remote worker needs. The atmosphere is inspiring and in my opinion, Nova Iskra collects many interesting freelancers and great professionals. Also, the selection of lectures on Thursday classes is very good and valuable. I recommend this space to everyone who needs to focus and have a working space that will feel their own as well as to everyone who is looking for some real inspiration.

I participated in game/animation tutorial project. The group that was formed was really good. Teacher (organizer) Uros Krcedinac was really good in explaning us how to make our own projects. We had everything we needed. Peacefull place, kitchen, wifi, projector, outdoor garden... and everything else so that we could focus on learning and work. I hope they will continue with similair projects in the future. Also I had the chance to see other members at work. Many programmers found their piece for working in one of the offices that are seperated from the rest of the large room. Few days ago I watched live stream from Nova Iskra. The guest speaker was a gaming company, they talked about ups and downs in their line of business.

I really enjoyed working in Nova Iskra and their team has helped me a lot. The atmosphere is really warm and enjoyable with lots of amenities. The people are casual, yet professional. And the Nova Iskra team is amazing and really helpful. They are always there for any need you have and really helpful. The location is great, connected and close to city center. Lots of food options around the Nova Iskra as well. The wifi is always strong as they have lots of routers scattered around the office which is on two floors now. And I didn't mention the balcony which is wonderful especially during the spring and summer.

Nova Iskra is offering very unique space design and fresh urban garden to chill and rest your eyes from the screen. At the same time, space is defined with people, and the community working at Nova Iskra is very worm, welcoming, open and respective! It is located in the very center, it is easy to access by bicycle or scooter, there is a public parking lot near by, as well as bus stations. Every week there is some interesting public program; lecture, course, workshop or panel, experts from all around the world. Topics are various, and multidisciplinary, all are related to the questions how we are going to work, live and learn in the future.

In the sea of so-called coworking spaces or apartments with desks thrown in, Nova Iskra naturally stands out. Nova Iskra team understands very well the concept of a coworking space that has the primary purpose of building a community. The design of space encourages communal culture with shared dining area, living room and a fantastic garden in the middle of the city. Above all, the space itself is very productivity boosting with comfortable chairs, large, spacious desk and fantastic screens available to every coworker. A variety of interesting events are hosted on the premises, both educational and of social nature. Finally, the space is pet friendly as well, which makes it fantastic for pet owners. All in all, a fantastic space, wonderful team, would not think about working anywhere else.

Nova iskra is an excellent, warm space, where I participated usually in the meetings of the network Creative mentorship, that they are hosting. Thus, I could have insight in their other activities: not only sharing working space, but discussing contemporary creative labor issues, fromm commons to precarity, how to enable open access, etc. THE team is eager, energetic, diligent, devoted - and questioning their own work and role in society, creating international links (that is very important in contemporary Serbia), helping emerging creative individuals to develop and find their own space in a creative cultural sector.. Thus, solidarity is their main characteristics, they brng new ethics in cultural work.

I just spent a week co-working at Nova Iskra and I couldn't be happier with it. From the beginning, everybody was incredibly welcoming and helpful with everything I needed. It is calm enough to work focused but still has a lively and inspiring vibe to it. It is also centrally located and easily reached by public transport. There are cute cats and dogs. And I roof terrace, which was wonderful in those first sunny spring days. There are good food options around and if you want they even hook you up with a daily lunch delivery which I liked a lot

Nova Iskra is a great co-working space, beautiful, well equipped and in the center of the Belgrade but yet private. The atmosphere here includes everything a professional would need in a co-working space. It has wonderful staff and a fantastic working environment. In addition to the standard amenities (wifi, printer, meeting rooms, coffee and tea, etc.), this place offers a variety of educational programs (lectures, presentations, workshops...) in the evenings. The wifi works perfectly at any place of the co-working. Nova Iskra is also a perfect place for any kind of events, workshops and co-working. You have to see it for yourself. I highly recommend Nova Iskra to everyone!

I've been a member of Nova Iskra for a couple of months, and I really love the distinct creative flair this space has. Unlike most other coworking spaces which can often feel to "office-y" and boring, Nova Iskra is filled with motivated people from all sorts of disciplines – architecture, design, software development, law, arts... Meeting people here is never a boring "which software company do you work for?" type of conversation. As for the space itself, the wifi is stable and very fast, and there are dedicated areas for dining (there's a small kitchen), doing meetings, conference calls, and of course chilling on the couch.

I'm a global entrepreneur and have spent more time in co-working spaces than with my family. This is the first time I felt like a part of a family. Nova Iskra is probably the best co-working space in the world. Total mix of people. Unfortunately my visa made my visit just three months but I will always bring Nova Iskra with me. You can take Luke from Nova Iskra but not Nova Iskra from Luke. A special thanks to Miljan for the help with all the requirements we had and amenities! Just bring your laptop, go to Gavrila Principa 43 and take part of a really cool work space. Don't judge the book by its cover. Vidimo se uskoro!

Nova Iskra is the best co-working place I have ever been to. Wifi is awesome, desk space is generous with monitors provided. But what I really liked above all was the friendly atmosphere. A great mix of locals and foreigners and of different professionals that make coffee breaks interesting and the whole vibe awesome. Don't let the appearance of the building from the street get to you, the 2 floor interior is completely different! It is beautifully designed and functional and the staff is extremely helpful. After many co-working years/spaces (in London, Oslo and here and there around the world) I can say Nova Iskra is the best one!

As a fresh new member of Nova Iskra, you might think this review could not be very relevant but when you feel immediately comfortable working here this is for a reason I guess... This place has the most modern and functional accommodations/services you can ask and want for a co-working place in Belgrade. If you are a freelancer, student, remote worker or whatever is your profil, the nice team at Nova Iskra will always do their best to ensure you are enjoying your stay every day. You can come to try this place for a day as well but be aware that you might stay here for a while...

Have been co-worker with NI for more than two years and have visited since the opening, during this time I was able to watch and to be involved in the continuing evolution of NI to amazing institution of co-working in Serbia, setting the bar for everyone else. Behind every amazing space there is an amazing team of people and NI team will make you stay great experience, they can connect you and advise about what ever you need. Place it self is in a shabby chic and well connected area in the center of the city and close to Sava river. Great cascade terrace is full of aromatic plants bringing a peace of nature just a step from your working table, if it is not too hot we take our computers out and work overlooking butterflies on lavender. Warm recommendation weather you plan to drop in or make long term arrangements and WIFI never fails.

There are tens of co-working spaces in Belgrade, however after a short research choosing Nova Iskra was a no brainer! Beautifully designed furniture with special attention to details make this space a very pleasant environment for work. Everything one may need is there - meeting rooms, lockers, kitchen, chill area... Everything one may not need, but make this space perfect - vertical garden inside and a small jungle outside (yes, you can work on a huge terrace as well). Nova Iskra people are always there to help, advise or just have fun with! Special bonus is for the great music playing in the background!

A great place to start off with a small(-ish) team or as a freelancer. The office management can help you with pretty much everything and is always there if you need them. Get to know other people from the space at a game of darts or at one of the workspace events. The space with it's beautiful interior design and the terrace are just awesome and help you focus on your work. If you need to hold a meeting or you want to do interviews you have access to the conference rooms available in all sizes. One of the most interesting things you can enjoy after a hard day of work are the lectures held by guest speakers on a variety of topics. Those are taking place almost weekly. You will find coffee, tea, fresh squeezed juices and breakfast in the kitchen. The Wi-Fi is very stable and lets you do conference calls and larger uploads without any problems.

Nova Iskra is a fantastic co-working space! A great space in a convenient location: not too big and not too small with 2 open access kitchens, some plants, plenty of couches and a huge terrace with a beautiful garden. The workstations are confortable and offer great amenities (screens, confortable chairs, plugs, lights, drawers...). The internet is great and there is a copy/printer available for use by all. There are a few meeting rooms including a very large one - you can book them on a shared calendar. You can also find areas to make your calls when the meeting rooms are taken. Finally the community makes this space very special - the team managing the space is great and is working on some very interesting and virtuous projects. Moreover, there is a very mixed blend of peaople working here, developpers, designers, small business owners, lawyers, locals and foreigners... a great mix. If you're in Belgrade, don't hesitate a second, this is the place to come, work and meet people!

Being in the heart of the city center close to all important places and crossroads with amazing terrace, Nova Iskra is definitely my first choice comparing to other coworking spaces in Belgrade. Amazing staff lead by Milyan will always be around to help you with anything you can think of. Often you will see interesting events organized in the afternoon with free fine food and drinks. Cosy rooms to relax and work quietly on your own are also a plus. I was really happy to know that my pet is also welcome since lots of people are bringing their own pets so they could play for the entire day. If you are in Belgrade, do not mis Nova Iskra and their hospitality.

I'm a member for 2 years now, and I am very satisfied with the service and conditions that Nova Iskra's team gives. There are contionuing improvement, sparks new ideas and give an inspiration. This co-working space is special because of the type of people who choose to come and work here, and the common traits of all are openness, goodness and awarness for the environment and people needs in this exciting times. Nova Iskra's work space amidst people doing different kinds of work can also make one’s own work identity stronger. This is a place to look for guidance, as they regularly offer networking events, training programs, social events.

Nova Iskra is one of those spaces that are designed just right! Nothing to add and nothing to take out... The great working atmosphere, with few options for meetings and conference calls. Hosts are super kind and helpful. Also, there are a lot of people from different fields working there... Mostly tech related, but there are also people doing the whole different types of work. It's great for networking regardless of the business. Every week there are free lectures or events happening in. Something like TED talks. The terrace is everyone's favorite spot. The real oasis in the center, especially in the spring :)

Perfect location and design od the space. Urban Garden is amazing. Community within the space as well as the people who run Nova Iskra are supercool. Looking forward to come back any time soon
