This Space is located at the heart of Porto with a great community! Wifi works perfectly. The rooms are very lighted, the chairs are comfortable and the staff is super gentle. There are coffee and fresh fruits for all the coworkers and we have a good collaboration environment.

It is just amazing! I love it and having run a co-working space in London, Porto IO really is up there with a the best. Most of all it feels like a tight family and although they have the market in Porto, it does not feel commercial. It's a friendly and extremely supportive environment that I always want to be part of. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great minds and hearts, great people. Work, laugh, talk and share, have a beer. Open to all kinds of meetups and mostly the space is free. Find many professionals to network with from many areas. Location is amazing in the heart of versatile Porto of so many beauties. Great coffees and restaurants around for breakfast , lauch and dinner. Many choices for after work beers around or just pick up one from the fridge :) Have a after lunch nap or if you want to have a footing around instead you may take a shower afterwards before getting black to work. Porto i/o is actually my first co-working space experience. I got into contact with Luis before I moved to Porto in order to fix a desk. It was a very smooth communication and before I arrived, I already knew I had a place that I would call "my office". My expectation was to have a fix desk and a place to go to and concentrate on my projects. I was not aware of the variety of Meetups and socializing events. People are nice and the place is cozy. I decided to spend some more time in Porto and will stay at Porto i/o Downtown. I also love the possibility to have two other spaces in Porto and one in Braga that I could work in when I need a new environment.

I’ve been working in Porto I/O Downtown for a month and still haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy all it has to offer. It is located in the center of the downtown so you will find yourself in the middle of the city activity with restaurants, bars, stores and transportation within few steps in any direction. Not only the location is amazing, the community management is always available for any information, problem solving and looking for ways to improve the place. There’s always meetups, games, group activities and more, so you won’t ever feel lonely if you are nomad working. A place where you can work in silence without being bothered or even have a laugh, join a conversation with some beers at the end of the day. If you come by, say hi.

Visiting the heart of the city is an experience on its own. To be able to be arrive at a space, located in downtown, in that very heart of the city, amongst some of the most important points of interest in the whole town, it's a treat. You get to enter a historic building, and go inside to find a cowork space which is modern, pulsating with focused, driven and hard working people. You enter with an aura from the historic heritage outside, and then get absorbed by the vibe and environment of the community inside, and on top, you get to feel all the comfort of a cool modern, well equipped space.

Yes, I like that Porto i/o is amazingly located right in the city center. I'm not much for cooking and bringing my food to eat in the lounge (I have nothing against it, many do it!), since the selection of meals and activities around is plenty. I can eat traditional local dishes, gourmet or regional meals, sushi, fast food, and yes, even regular food, all in the same week. I have a favorite burger now, ask me which is it! Yes, I like how it's no trouble getting here, however I choose; whether it's by bus, the subway, car, ride a bike, or parachuting, the door is always open to me. (I once asked for an helipad, they didn't say no, so fingers crossed!) Yes, I like how you can make your desk your own little corner of productivity. It feels like any work space I'd expect if I built it myself, where everyone is always respectful and mindful of one another, and the professionalism in the air helps you focus. If you're not productive here, you may want to consider switching careers... and then come back. Yes, I like being able to attend different talks and meetups almost every week. Even if I don't have an interest in a particular event, someone always does, and I'm sure an event "for me" is just around the corner. But, really, those are just details... All of that would only make me consider it. What wins it for me: the Expression of the Day. It's a friendly environment, no matter your background or your line of work. I felt immediately welcomed when I first started. Because we're friendly, we talk. Because we talk, we say things. Because we say things, some of those things are funny, especially when taken out of context. To have your words "recognized" as worthy by a group of awesome people always ready to single you out for what you say, it's an honor really. Conversation and laughter only helps me focus better on my work. By just having an Expression of the Day, something that allies all of those aspects, I can think of no better place.

Porto IO Downtown is an amazing place to work if you live in Porto and work from home, or you are a nomad worker, you'll have an amazing location, close to restaurants, monuments, bars and discos, basically everything. And on top of that you will have an amazing environment to work and meet incredible people. When you are there, please do not miss the tuesday's trip to Sins, also do not miss the friday beers :D If this did not convince you yet, let's just say the price leaves enough money in your wallet to enjoy everything previously stated! Great place to work if you're visiting or if you're planning for a long stay. It has a great environment, lots of meetups and social events after hours but also a serious place to do some work. Place is right in the heart of the city, with great restaurants nearby and pretty much everything you need. The community managers are really nice, you get coffee, fruit and water as much as you want. Been working there for a couple of months and the experience has been great! It makes you feel at home so I definitely recommend visiting and staying for sure
