CRU Cowork rents different work spaces in a sharing and collaborating scheme, mainly directed to creative activities.

Our monthly rental models release users from heavy fixed pays (guarantees, water, power or internet service contracts, usually subject to installation costs and loyalty programs).

CRU Cowork is located at the heart of the art-district of Porto (Bombarda Art District), center of a creative cluster, in an accessible central area, surrounded by all types of services and commerce.

The perfect workplace.

Cru cowork is a very special place, very comforting and professional with excellent interpersonal relationships. It takes special dedication and perseverance to build such a special place like Cru so i want to compliment the owners. The environment is great, very creative and productive. In my opinion they have set a new standard for the co working places in Porto, i strongly recommend this place to work. Apart from coworking they also have spaces to relax, gather, learn and experience (a lot of great workshops) and the wonderful store with author products that makes us want to buy everything :)

Cru is great!

I spent almost two years working at Cru and still drop by for regular visits, working in collaborations with the space and some coworkers and to attend workshops and social events. The time I spent there was very important for me as I had just arrive to Porto and didn't have many connections in the city. I had the chance to meet many people from different work fields, cultures and nationalities, it opened new doors in terms of work and collaborations but also inspired me to develop new projects. The owners keep it very casual but super organised and dynamic, promoting social events, interaction between coworkers and that is the spirit of Cru. The facilities are very welcoming: in the entrance there's a shop featuring the best of Porto in terms of fashion, design, jewellery and illustration; then the cowork open space, where everyone has it's own space depending on the needs; the kitchen and lounge where lunch time happens, also social events and sometimes conferences and workshops; and finally the patio, to enjoy summer afternoons and evenings. There's still some space left, downstairs, where the coworkers can schedule private meetings in the meeting rooms, use the toilets and visit the silkscreen workshop and smell the ink when someone is printing. I would recommend Cru a million times, to anyone travelling to Porto and working remotely or living in the city and looking for dynamic work environment.

Some of the best people you'll ever meet.

It's right at the heart of the "arts neighborhood", so you can't really get more hip than that. In less than 10 minutes you have a metro station (Lapa), in less than 5 you're at a bus stop (Carmo) that serves as sort of a hub (some buses go to the beach, others to the outskirts, another one to the airport). If you don't want to hang out at hipster cafes and be surrounded by renovated beautiful historical buildings (go figure), you're 5 minutes away from Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, a green area with some nice views of the Douro river. During the winter it can get a bit cold some days, but there's blankets aplenty to wrap around your legs if you're that kind of a pussy :P (also a heater, of course) The people you meet are just amazing. They either don't realize how uncool I was at school (score) or they just don't care (double score) :P They're a really fun bunch of people, between artists, bloggers and IT freelancers or remote workers. There are barbecues and parties every now and then, and there are workshops and sessions. There was even this accounting guy brought over so people could get advice on that stuff during the same day instead of having to individually find and hire a guy. It just feels like a lot of care is put into the community :)

Best place!

I've been at CRU for about six months and I couldn't be happier! Located in the well knows "art neighbourhood" in Porto, it's close to everything and has the best people around! Tânia, one of the owners, is one of the nicest people ever, always ready to help. Everyone else is pretty amazing too, the environment is relaxed and everyone helps each other out. Definitely one of the best decisions I made was to come horse here. Besides the work part, there's always some activity to welcome every new member, like our wednesday's on the table; where every week someone new to CRU brings a desert and talks a little bit about themselves. It's amazing!
