This cozy and chill out place is the magical and inspiring place. When you pass through the jungle, rocky cottage in Onion town, you can find this hidden gem in the center of the Ubud. Our tribes complete writing her first book or working on a farming robot with a 3D printer in the pursuit of self-sufficient life. We call ourselves Onion Tribes where members support each other with love and affection. Plus we have daily night event with live music at the restaurant where expats and locals can interact with each other. (Restaurant and Working space are distant!,)

Spent past 5 months working from this coworking place and I can only recommend it to everyone!
They offer both the open space and private rooms for Skype, you can sit either inside in the airconditioned room or outside on the terrace.
The coffee and tea are free of charge, plus there is a 10% discount in the restaurant that belongs to the place.
They have 2 stable Wi-Fi, in past 5 months I never had a problem with the connectivity nor with the internet speed.
The staff is always helpful and very friendly which makes you feel good and allows you to properly focus on your work.

Nice on budget coworking space
I was really lucky to find this place and worked from there for almost 3 months. This place is great and offers everything what a digital nomad needs. There are two skype rooms, a large openspace area, different sitting options and a good wi-fi. Even during the hot days it was always comfortable inside thanks to air-condition and a lot of fans. Stuff is nice and friendly always willing to help. In the coworking complex there is a restaurant (which also serves food in the working space), a small swimming pool and a parking lot for motorbikes. In walking distance there are plenty of restaurants with different cuisines. This place is not as fancy as other coworking spaces in Ubud but it is one of the best things about it, because it is calm and peaceful and I was able to fully focus on my work. Besides that price is amazingly cheap.

Cozy and affordable coworking space in Ubud. Great for local!
As a local, it can be a difficult thing to find an affordable coworking space in Ubud. Most coworking space charged premium price. But Onion Collective is different. I love the atmosphere of the place. And the internet is reliable. You can meet many different people from different background. And what I really like is this place is design for people to work. It is quiet so you can focus on your work. There is also a 3D printer which I think fascinating. And since it is part of a restaurant, I always enjoy just listen to live music or enjoying delicious food after work.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!
I SIMPLY LOVE THIS SPACE! There are other co-working spaces in Ubud, but I find this one the best by far in terms of price and atmosphere (I was quite puzzled to find out some of these co-working places were pricier than I expected). The working space is cozy, warm, friendly, and open. It makes you feel like home. Not only can you use the swimming pool with a slide when you feel like unwinding and taking a break, but you can also have delicious and healthy food when you get hungry (I tried vegan burger and it was tasty!). The staff members are super friendly and open. You will notice how free-spirited this place is once you step into the premise. :) I strongly recommend this place.

If you want eclectic with fast fiber internet, this might be your place.
After being disappointed at the other Ubud coworkings offering/price ratios, I came to the Onion and spent almost all day every day here in the end!
The wifi is consistently 80d/20u with a ping of 4ms. I don't need it super fast, but others were using it for video language lessons and all was well on that.
Other highlights:
- Order food from the restaurant and have it brought to you (it's quite good, vegan & non-vegan available).
- Free "kopi bali" and tea & water available also.
- fans and AC so you won't die of heatstroke.
- two Skype rooms (cost extra) if you need some privacy (they're not soundproof, though).
- Pool if you want to swim; they keep it pretty clean, too.
The reason I fell in love with the Onion is that it avoids some of the negative bits of the "bromad" culture. Nobody's going on about dropshipping or crypto here, it's just people doing what they love or whatever pays the bills for them.
My schedule ended up being: come in right at open, work most of the day, then spend dinner with the "tribe" at the restaurant that's part of the same complex. It's got live music Thursday-Sunday as well, so it's hard to beat.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the area underneath the main coworking is being transformed into Ubud's first "MakerSpace." There is a 3D printer (only about 100K IDR per kilo of material, which is ridiculously cheap) and during my stay an artist from San Diego turned the rest into a temporary painting studio.
The service isn't always 100%, but it's cheap enough that I was okay with that in the end.
It's a steal for $70 monthly. I'll be there whenever I'm in Ubud, that much is sure!
