Coworking Space: Black Dot in Seattle

Black Dot start in 2015 as a project from Hack the CD. The mission was to provide a safe space for Entrepreneurs of the African Diaspora to be able to launch and grow their businesses as well as network and create partnerships with one another. The first two years were spent at the iconic corner of 23rd and union located in Seattle Washington. Upon Discriminatory practice by the landlord,, BlackDot was forced to move to 16th and Jackson where it currently resides. The current space is a bigger location and provides more resources than the previous space so the move ended up being for the best. Future plans for BlackDot include expanding and relocating to the fire station building on 23rd and Yesler where Black Dot can provide more resources for it's members and the community.
