A neighborhood coworking and makerspace venue where you can connect with creative and passionate people, The Mix Coworking & Makerspace is located in the basement level of the historic White Rock United Methodist Church. It features an open plan coworking space interspersed with smaller nooks to hide away in or where you can gather in small groups. A not-for-profit social enterprise, the doors are open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with evenings and weekend hours by appointment.
The benefits of coworking at The Mix include seriously fast Wi-Fi to plug into, an on-site cafe to run to when the hunger pangs strike and plenty of coffee, tea and other beverages for the thirsty people. There are a variety of workspaces available from standing desks to large project tables, semi-private to private spaces and a designated "sshh" zone for those who wish to totally focus without any buzzing noise around them.
Creative coworking spaces includes an artists' studio flooded with natural light, a sewing lab with everything you need to get stitching, a textile workroom, a sound production studio, as well as a dance studio. There is a conference room with flexible seating for 16 hot bodies that can be reserved.
Coworking membership plans are flexible and affordable so that you can choose how and when you wish to work from part-time to full-time with optional storage facilities available.
