Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. They have great amenities and meeting spaces. The other people here are also very nice and social. I love coming in and finding a plate of muffins someone brought in for everyone. The local first approach is really cool as Charleston is an awesome place and Local Works gives it a chance to shine through in a co-working environment. Everything here is deliberately planned down to the details. Even the art on the walls comes from local artists.

Local Works is most definitely the best co-working space within the greater ChuckTown Region. The furnishings, desk spaces and professional accoutrements are unparalleled with any other co-working space, this side of the Pee Dee. When my crüe and I pursue work here at LoWo, it's like we are re-enacting scenes from Office Space but except we are actually perfecting our craft and making cool stuff! Our greatest dreams shall come true and we shall be triumphant in all endeavors as long as we keep on rockin' the free world at LoWo.... Behold the destiny = Victory!

I've worked at Local Works for over 2 years now and it's such a great spot. Bright, open office space, friendly co-workers, speedy internet, great meeting rooms, and plenty of free parking for you + your clients.

LocalWorks is a great place for work. The location is perfect and there is plenty of parking. the infrastructure is well setup, you will have everything you need to be comfortable including coffee, a kitchen, plenty of work space, conference room, etc. The internet works fast. The organizers are very friendly and provide a great 'local' atmosphere.

I feel a sense of pride in having my business associated with Local Works. For BIG Realty it was important for me to maintain a local small company feel. Local Works gives me the space I need without having a huge overhead of a traditional brick and mortar brokerage. Real Estate has gone more digital so I love having a dedicated space but I don't feel guilty if I'm not able to go into the office every day. Great vibe, great coffee, and the people just make it awesome!

Local Works has been instrumental in helping Ernst & Young (EY) get started in the Charleston market. We have a focus on serving South Carolina and in particular, Charleston. Initially, Local Works allowed us to use Day Passes as we were getting started. Then Local Works allowed us to find a near-term space that allowed us the time needed to better understand the Commercial Real Estate options in the area. We need near-term (Local Works), short-term, and long-term options. Local Works was creative enough to give us a near-term for two months but allowing us to use a space being vacated by one of their subscribers for two months. This gave us the time to find both short-term and long-term options and Local Works was instrumental in helping us explore these options. EY is a large, global firm and we have many offices in the United States. In coming to a new market like Charleston we are similar to most entrepreneurs in that we are learning more about so many aspects of this particular market. We are so thankful that Local Works provide flexible, cost-effective office space that addressed our near-term needs. Specifically, Steve Fletcher was THE BEST to work with and made us feel at home.

My business would have never launched without the members and staff at Local Works. They helped my company win a startup competition, find land, and find potential employees. I felt welcomed on day 1 and have now been a member for over a year. I wish I had known about Local Works when I sold lemonade as a kid. I could have boosted sales by 300%! I went from working at local coffee shops and my apartment kitchen table for a full year before working at Local Works. I was super nervous at first because I thought I would be distracted, wouldn't be able to concentrate, may be too loud on the phone, or may miss the days of having space to myself. Every fear that I had completely went away and I enjoyed being surrounded by a community of entrepreneurs, creatives, my colleagues, and other business professionals that all had their individual identity. Local Works is a space that welcomes everyone rather you are coming in every day in jeans and sneakers or a business suite. Each person represented makes the space and community so unique and I am happy to work here everyday! Plus there is on street parking, nearby restaurants, and close to getting Down Town or North Charleston. Oh and free coffee!

It is mutually understood that head phones means 'I'm on a roll' while the kitchen provides the perfect spot to bounce ideas off of one another. I used to work from home and found myself to be dreary and easily distracted. I wouldn't leave my house for a week or more at a time. I would see another human being for days. Now, thanks to Local Works, I am excited to get up and get to work. I have been here for two years now and I can't imagine ever going back to the home office.
