Coworking Space: Design Hive in Philadelphia

I have been apart of Design Hive since the Spring and I absolutely love working here! All of the other workers here are incredibly friendly and sociable. This space provides a kitchenette that is fully equipped with coffee, a fridge, and snacks, and its all for free! The entire building is always clean, and there is a bathroom on every floor for convenience. Working in a cowork space brings about the worry of distraction, but everybody at Design Hive is productive and respectful. Their attitudes make me more productive myself! With all of the businesses that work out of Design Hive there is so much opportunity for networking and building relationships. Besides this, Design Hive hosts an event almost every month and these events also provide a great avenue for socializing and mingling with the residents of Philadelphia as well as other business owners! Design Hive is in a prime location as it's only a block away from Rittenhouse Square Park! Therefore it's location is convenient for a lunch break or a walk around the park. The interior of Design Hive is gorgeous and well-decorated which creates an amazing environment to work in every day! The only negative I can say about working here is that with in the last month the wifi has not been consistent and occasionally will stop working for about ten minutes or so! But the owners of this space are currently switching to another provider and this problem will no longer be an issue.

Shawn, Phil and Michael treat you like you are family! They have kind hearts and take great pride in making you feel welcome and right at home! The space itself is bright and airy with tons of natural light. The space has an open floor plan and is home to a variety of startups. The businesses include real estate, interior design, marketing and financial services to name a few. All of the D-Hive members that I have come in contact with have been nothing less than pleasant and respectful.They have a great mesh of people. Additionally, they host regular networking events where members can spend time with other members as well as entertain clients. If you are looking for a place to call home for your small business, or need to host an event, I highly recommend D-Hive!
