Coworking Space: LaunchHouse in Cleveland

We (the Members) interact with each other A LOT! All other coworking spaces that I've visited are sterile and silent. If I wanted to be alone, I would go to a library. But people at LaunchHouse welcome each other, talk to each other, eat lunch with each other, and help each other. Yes! Let's HELP each other. No one knows everything about business. I learn something new every day at LaunchHouse and my business really did "launch" forward when I joined.

I work with a small startup that has several offices and workspace within launchouse. The environment is friendly, energetic, and entrepreneurial. There snacks and drinks available all the time, it's dog friendly, and professional. All the benefits of a larger company office without the overhead. It's also great to talk with other individuals and companies in the space about their work and to share ideas. There are also periodic events, presentations, happy hours, lunches, etc. so it always seems like there is something going on. The staff are also very friendly and responsive. I think the only improvements I can think of would be a location in a more walk-able central downtown location and onsite gym and/or showering facilities. However there are gyms nearby if you get a membership and in summer the nearby sidewalks, ponds, etc. are nice.

Having recently moved from the west coast to Cleveland, I quickly needed to find an office space for my growing business. I toured 6+ coworks and office spaces for lease locally before making an easy decision. LaunchHouse was the last place I took a look at and was by far the clear winner. Eddie gave me a tour of the place: plenty of space, goals for expansion, friendly community of humans & four-legged friends, consistent schedule of networking and business development events, plenty of snacks and drinks, etc. The part I liked most was the sense of initiative I felt here. It gave off a sense of "whatever you/your company need, let's figure it out and make it happen". I've only been at LaunchHouse for a month now but my partner and I are loving it.

I'll admit it, other spaces are much fancier than LaunchHouse. We will never be WeWork or Regus and that's OK. But it's not about the furniture or the color of the walls (which are pretty cool here); it's about the people you meet when you work with our community. No one at LaunchHouse has a business that is the same as any other yet we've all struggled with the same business questions over and over again through our careers. This is a group of people who are ready to help. Where else do you get to go in to work with people you like every single day?

LaunchHouse cares about the people who are there - including their dogs. Happy Hours, free coffee and snacks. Insightful Lunch and Learns and connections to other people and organizations. Members help one another with recommending good lawyers, accountants, software programmers, graphic artists, and insurance agents and other needs. We have impromptu "What do you think about..." jam sessions. LaunchHouse secures interesting business people and government personnel to meet and discuss start ups and small business status in the area. LaunchHouse is very easy to commute to, it is right off of the freeway with lots of free parking and 24 hour access.

Great atmosphere where you are always surrounded with people willing to help you build your dream. The events at LaunchHouse allow for continued learning and improvement. Lunch + Learns provide members with the opportunity to learn about photoshop, insurance, how to use social media, how to start a business, etc and Happy Hours are a great opportunity to network and learn from others in a relaxed environment. LaunchHouse is doing great things for the Cleveland community. The space is great for getting work done and forming relationships with other coworking individuals. WiFi, coffee, and snacks make the work day go by faster too.

LaunchHouse has the best community of all the coworking spaces I've worked at over 10 years and several cities. The people here talk and laugh with each other! We get advice from each other and help solve each others' problems. You will get so much further in your business being helped by the fellow entrepreneurs, freelancers, small biz owners, and service providers buzzing around LaunchHouse. I came for a trial and I'm still here 2 years later. The hardest part for me as en entrepreneur was loneliness. LaunchHouse provided a true community. I will keep the friends that I've made here for a long time. And, my business is growing faster because of it!

I love working at the Launchhouse a few days a week. I've been working here for the past year and a half. It's been great for networking and really keeps me focused on grinding. The community is full of freelancers and startups that understand the new work lifestyle. Great to have access to high speed internet and coffee, and all the happy hours! Since I've been here I have connected with some digital native folks that I can bounce ideas off of and that I have helped focus their efforts.
