Overview of Reno Collective
The Reno Collective is built around collaboration and community but we know that you have to get your work done too. Our space has the room and the tools to let you get things done, hold meetings and conferences or host an event.
Reno Collective is made up of some of the best talents in their respective fields and they’re all looking to leave their own mark on the universe. The cross-pollination that occurs in this building gets us all a little closer to truly changing the world.

Reno Collective is the heart of the Reno Entrepreneur ecosystem!
03.04.2019With all the different coffee methods, there is a lot of variety for staying caffeinated at the Reno Collective. The layout and different spaces creates a number of different environments that suits most needs. The history of the space is exciting and the community contributes to a creative atmosphere were people come together to get stuff done!

Getting S*** Done in Reno
03.04.2019Reno Collective was Northern Nevada's first coworking space and it continues to set the bar that other spaces try to reach. Its environment never feels contrived or overly tech-y, but rather friendly and welcoming to all who choose to cowork in the unique space. Formerly an 80's recording studio loving named "Granny's", the building looks like a three-story Victorian home, complete with multiple rooms where artists would stay while recording and mastering an album. When Reno Collective decided to move into the space, ownership opted to keep the studios and sound isolation rooms intact, providing large, QUIET open spaces (where I most often choose to work). Sound isolation booths were also kept and are great for phone calls and video conferencing and the remaining rooms have been converted into offices for residents and teams. The Collective hosts events and occasional classes, and regular member meetups keep a sense of community without it feeling forced.

Killer networking, great people, fun and professional environment.
03.04.2019It's nice to work within an established community. I'd say at least 50% of my work comes from Reno Collective referrals. My clients and I also have access to a rare, reliable, and valuable talent pool. I enjoy the space, and the people I work around.

A great community, business network, comfortable space, fast Internet access.
03.04.2019I've been a member since 2015. The location has moved once since then. We have a beautiful spot in midtown, walking distance from. Coffee-shops, Pizza, Thai food, Bars and a few other restaurants. There's fiber Internet access, some good variety of seating and environment, 2 main meeting rooms, in addition to phone rooms, a podcast studio, and a larger flexible use space / maker room. There's a full kitchen, fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, free coffee, espresso & tea (coffee and espresso machines), filtered water (cold and hot for tea) In the summer time we have outdoor tables, a garden, lawn, bike racks and outdoor events. There are community events most months, BBQs in the summer (with vegan options), meditation classes, podcast classes, accountability groups (to help people be better freelancers, more happy and/or productive) The space is community driven for those who want to take ownership. The garden for instance was started by members who were interested in starting one. We all have that freedom to suggest a thing and (with some limitations) make the space better. We have a great on-line chat for the space with channels for many of our interests and general announcements. You're also welcome to host meetups or other meetings/classes (or join the existing ones). I've also personally made a number of clients through working here. Feel free to let people know you're looking for work and what you do, we have a chat channel for that, and of course meeting people and talking goes a long way (as long as you're not interrupting them). Since I've been here a while and have gotten myself involved more, I've become a deputy member. There are a few deputies during business hours which means, we aren't employees of the Reno Collective, and we try to be good community members, assisting people who are having trouble day to day things, printers, network, make sure the dishes get done, and answering any questions we can.

Welcoming Environment, Great Community
03.04.2019I've been a Reno Collective member since 2012. What I have experienced is a community that will welcome you with open arms and do their best to help you in your endeavors. I highly recommend you check it out if you need a place to get work done and meet some awesome new people.
