Coworking Space: The Sandbox Ssi in St. Simons

What a perfect location for our Christmas Party! The Sandbox did a great job with being timely and setting up exactly as needed. They provided professional service and planning advice while providing helpful guidance regarding COVID safety precautions, including providing masks and hand sanitizer. There were complimentary snacks, coffee and water available. We were even able to provide our team members with a virtual Christmas Party experience due to the smart TV's and wifi availability. With lots of space to roam we were able to maintain safe distance while celebrating together. We look forward to celebrating again at The Sandbox!

Having a super productive/reliable workspace is critical during this new “work-from-home” phase. The Sandbox is ideal!!! I’ve been working from my vacation home for a while now, and joined the Sandbox recently. David and Rachel have been fantastic helping me to get set up and welcoming me to the space. Reliable WiFi, private desks/offices, video-monitors, printing, etc. have been so important as I’m on Zoom/Teams calls with UK/China/Japan/etc at all times of the day. It’s a great option for people on the island that may not have the ideal office set-up in your vacation home or rental.

Like many business people heading on vacation with their families, one can only hope that the wifi in a home rental is strong enough to conduct video conference meetings via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. while on the road. I had that experience where our rental home had an old DSL connection and I had client meetings all week lined up via VC that had to have a better connection. Well, I was introduced to David and Rachel over at The Sandbox on St. Simons Island. They could not have been more welcoming and accommodating towards my needs. The space is clean, quiet, professional and a wonderful office away from home. If you are in a pinch like I was, I would not hesitate to call David to line up arrangements. I’ll certainly be utilizing their services the next time I’m in town. (The only reason I have rated “Social & Community” 3 stars is because this was in the middle of coronavirus and no one was socializing.)

The Sandbox SSI has been such a blessing! The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful. There are numerous little private rooms for meetings. These rooms are so thoughtfully put together and even have dry-erase walls for creativity. The shared space is my favorite! Enough desk space to spread out and monitors to connect to laptop through HDMI. Two of my favorite features: 1. outlets everywhere to charge all the devices and 2. super comfortable chairs. The owners were so thoughtful in every detail. To sum it up, The Sandbox Ssi is office space heaven on earth!
