This is a great space with lots of amenities (free local coffee, bike racks, conference rooms, phone booth, recycling..) lots of variable seating for drop-ins, a very fresh atmosphere in a great location to bike or walk to local restaurants and shops, the dog park and even the river. Joining the space is like joining a community. We play together, work together, bounce ideas off each other and have a lot of fun coworking.

It seems that it‘s a wonderful place for our team！We have decided to book this office next month. Everything is perfect for us. We can't wait to enjoy working in it. Next month we'll have a new home! YEAH!!!!! Could anyone give us more tips about the location, since we're new here. We just moved here several days ago. All is new and fresh, but also comes with lots of difficulties. Proximity Space is legit. The dedicated desk model fits their space very well and they have created a new vibe in downtown Montrose. They are not only leading in this way, but also leading by creating their coworking space software and apps to help spaces around the world be more connected, and operate smoother. I didn't realize how much I needed an environment like Proximity Space. I love working solo on a project for hours- I also love receiving feedback from peers when desired, rebooting with other humans, and having a dedicated space to run my "home" business from. We love Proximity! We found this awesome spot about two months ago and now plan our time in the area knowing its a perfect spot for an awesome office/work day while we're on the road. We drive and stay in Montrose just because of Proximity. The Wifi is unbelievably fast, projects that normally take us hours at a coffee shop can take just a fraction of the time. We are able to spread out and use their big tables to set up everything. The music playing is great, I usually have to wear headphones or something other places but Proximity is quiet with just the right amount of background noise to feel like a community space and not be distracting. I feel so productive in this space; its clean, modern, comfy, and inviting.

Thanks to all the people who stick their necks out to make proximity space happen. This is a great resource for telecommuters, freelancers and out of town visitors. I've not only work in the space but have had the opportunity to collaborate with you go there as well. Now I need to work more so I can be there more…smile/wink.

I own a brewery just down the street and meet a lot of people that go to Proximity. When they come out their eye's are wild with excitement. Just the spark downtown needed!

Having had the opportunity to attend, host and participate in numerous events in Proximity Space, no other place in Montrose, or our region, has attracted such diverse interests and opportunities for dynamic community involvement . The level of professionalism shown in every aspect of its execution is truly remarkable.

Stopped in to check these guys out last week while I was passing through on business. I was very disappointed in the overall feel of the coworking environment. I'll pass on future time here, you might want to consider other spaces before stopping.

Awesome people, awesome location. I cannot imagine a better setup. Gigabit fiber connectivity is truly icing on the cake. Keyless secure access might be one of my favorite features. Even without a membership this is a great place to drop in for work, or to host a meeting/small class in one of their conference rooms.

They have different rooms for different needs. Private or open. It's a good place to get work done.

I came to Proximity space because I heard they had fast internet and I live out in the country where fast internet is not possible. But I also love the community. I remember telling my wife just after I discovered Proximity Space that it feels like San Francisco in the middle of Montrose. Totally a hip co-work space. I enjoy the people, the venue, the vibe and especially the lightning fast internet.

As a remote worker, this is a great space to network, engage with others and meet clients. So happy to have this in our community.

I've been to the Montrose Proximity Space many times for various events. My team used their trendy conference room with a wall of white board for our annual business planning weekend. The facility and staff couldn't have been better or more helpful. The downtown location of this co-working space is fantastic and convenient with close restaurants and walkability. How can you describe Proximity Better than; "Ride your bike, walk to drink!" This location is killer right in the middle of town and minutes to everything. The internet is great and Chelsea is funny as hell but come on, it's right in the middle of town! Nice to meet you Proximity, can't wait to visit again.

I've worked from home for nearly 30 years. And I've loved it. There are things I've missed about being in an office, though, and that's the human interaction and camaraderie found in offices. What drove me to join the Proximity Space team was the need for a reliable, high speed internet. With that step I gained more than the internet -- I gained the human interactions I'd been missing. The desk space is comfortable, the people are friendly and helpful, the internet reliable, and the meeting space (another delightful perk) for private appointments is outstanding too.

I have been involved in a few events at the Proximity Space and they went of in exceptional fasion. The video equipment was great, the web connection was amazing and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Proximity Spaces is attractive to anyone and everyone, not only for there extremely fast internet and fresh ground coffee, but because the energy in the place. You walk in and just feel the productivity and innovation. It makes one love working, it also makes working on the western slope possible, where as before it was quite difficult.

When I first moved to the western slope I was working in my home office and was just constantly distracted and unhappy. When Proximity Space opened in Montrose, CO it was a godsend. I now enjoy my work and love having an office to go to with "Co-workers" I recently travelled and did a drop in at other coworking spaces and it just didn't compare to that of Proximity Space

The space is amazing for all different occasions! For group meetings it has a very spacious soundproof conference room. For Big events it has a nice open layout with a projector and tons of space. For just individual use it has space for phone calls and for your personal desk.

A space like this would be awesome anywhere, but having it in a small town in rural western Colorado shows the forward thinking of the area; the pioneer spirit lives! Despite the shared space, it's set up with buffer zones to keep things relatively quiet, I don't feel intruded on while working, and the amenities are top notch, including gigabit Internet. It's centrally located, and accessible 24x7. I was welcomed not just by the staff, but by the other members.

Great atmosphere to work remotely, you can connect with other people in your industry. There is a team space area to work collaboratively, and if you want a little more focused work, there is the personalized desk space. The accessibility of the facility providing easy access for late night work. If you need to work remotely, and like to connect with other, this is a fantastic place to work!

We use Proximity as an anchor location for one of our team members, but also as a great place to get together for any ad hoc meetings that come up. The people there are great and it is a great place to use as we need it.

Being a digital nomad lets me work from anywhere, which usually means my home. Meeting clients in a nice, comfortable meeting space with everything a modern office has is wonderful! No more hoping to find a table at Starbucks. Great atmosphere and great people!

The first time visiting Proximity Space I was excited that someone had brought a big city idea to a western slope Colorado town. In touring the facility I thought this is exactly what people need in a small rural town even more than the big city. The environment, WIFI capability, and community more than encourages and assists entrepreneurial people to meet their goals and help put them on a level playing field. Proximity Space is a wonderful venue for those needing a temporary or more permanent space to do business. Something is always happening in the high energy space and it is a great venue for a variety of events. The design of the space is flexible and edgy and is getting better by the day. Not only is the space a great place to get some work done as they are visiting the area but it is a place for the thinkers, creators and doers of the Western slope community.

Visited the space when it was under construction and now that it is finished and open to the public, I was very impressed with Josh's vision. He has always been very innovative. The space was comfortable and well laid out. Well equipped and fast online service. Offered the ability to interface with people if you liked and or work quietly by yourself. The conference room was an added bonus that made for an easy transition from a work station to conference work with others on short notice.

Went here for a Pitch Night. Very spacious with a clean, aesthetic design. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. They did an amazing job of hosting 50+ people. They were well prepared and very professional. If I lived in Montrose, I would love to cowork at Proximity Space.

After working from home for many years I moved into Proximity Space and now have a full time desk there. Everyone is very courteous of your space and time and they have been super accommodating. The space is very clean and modern with super fast internet which makes working there very professional and productive. The conference rooms are great for meetings and save me a lot of travel time. Being downtown close to shops and restaurants is great too!

I do not work here but I love to visit. It feels like a place where you can come and work, be private if you want, co work with someone if needed, learn some new cutting edge invention. It's a place where you can be in the present moment because it is.

Proximity Space was my first exposure to a coworking environment. I'm sure it has many great benefits. It's a good fit for me because (1) I don't have a home office, and (2) I can't justify the cost of a private office at this point. Oh yeah, and I don't have to make the coffee. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

I'm one of those that need a quiet corner to work in order to stay focused on a project. Found my nook at Proximity and managed to get things done in a couple of hours. Atmosphere is energizing knowing the surrounding workers are getting things done too. Internet at home is too slow, coffee shop is too busy. Proximity is perfect.

I realize that you know very little about a remote city like Montrose Colorado. No problem it is better to leave it that way -but-proximity space is now one of our most important assets. There are only 40,000 people that live in the entire county and they are getting older by the day. PROXIMITUY has given is the possibility of attracting new young residents. I worked out pf proximity space for three months before having to move away. I had a great standing desk where I worked from both my desktop and my laptop. Blazing fast and reliable internet both wired and wireless. Finding a private room for video calls was never an issue. Phone key system made it easy to get in and out at all hours. The space had friendly people and was actively involved in engaging the community. Location is right downtown, allowing walking to many nearby restaurants and breweries.

I live in a small town, but I am not a small person. I mean, I am small in size... I have big ambition and big goals. I am completely terrified to start my own business doing freelance graphic design focusing on trade show displays and big interior/exterior projects. That being said, being at the space alleviates so much of the startup stress I had the first time I did this whole self employed thing. Not only do I have a professional, amenity packed environment where I can meet with clients that is in a convenient location streaming with the fastest internet in our region, but I am also surrounded by people just like me. I know every client I've meet with there felt as if they were stepping out of Montrose and into a Palo Alto creative space. I feel blessed to have my office here.

It's sad when you have to leave your office because the WiFi is down. Thank goodness for Proximity Space. Fasted WiFi in town, in a great locations and with friendly people. As long as an event is not happening, it's easy to get in, get your work done and get out to enjoy the mountains. Love it!!!!

The Proximity Space came into Montrose at a pivotal time, and I personally saw numerous small businesses and great thinkers thrive under the help and guidance that the Proximity Space offers. Being in a space were other great minds gather, individuals are able to reach their full potential. Having worked side by side with the Proximity Space for their first year open, I can honestly say that they are an asset to the Montrose community and Western Slope of Colorado! They are always willing to partner with other great ideas and companies and I saw them step up and support young entrepreneurs through the Young Entrepreneurs Program that the local chamber of commerce brought in. All around, the Proximity Space is a great addition to Montrose, from local start up to giving back!

I traveled through town (visiting someone in nearby Hospital) and couldn't stand the idea of working out of a Hospital lobby all day. Comfortable spot, simple to get onto wifi and access all my data. Nicer than my actual office... Close to a couple great places for lunch - easy place to use. Awesome!

The atmosphere at Proximity Space is something never before seen on this side of Colorado, possibly the Mississippi. This is a great place to experience casual collisions, and meet interesting folks from all over. Learning what individual jobs are is the most fascinating part of working at the Proximity Center. Great internet speeds with a casual work environment. Many people stop in to just figure out what is going on in there. It is neat to see people bounce ideas off of each other and brainstorm new inventions/creations.

I flew in to Montros last week for a business deal. I had a few hours to burn so I stopped in at proximity space to get some work done. The coffee was fresh and the people working in the space seem to be quite friendly. what a great place to network! This is definitely a great business idea.

When visiting Proximity Space, I was struck by the positive energy of people working in a shared space. There is plenty of room for individuals to organize their space to suit their specific needs, there are additional facilities for presentations, the WIFI is very fast, and the location is downtown, so one is near restaurants, shops, and other businesses. Proximity is always looking for ways to be on the cutting edge.

I live and work remotely in Telluride as a software engineer. When I am in Montrose for the day, I make sure I set up a space at Proximity Space. The internet speeds are crazy fast. Conveniently located downtown for lunch or breakfast. Quiet but not too quiet. Lots of smiling faces. Without a doubt, if I lived (or spent more time) in Montrose, I would set up a permanent space, but for now I am very happy with my day pass!

I've worked a few times at Proximity and then have attended several events there. I love it. The decor, setup, and efficiency of technology and space all contribute the overall "good vibes" feeling of the space. The people are great, and the atmosphere is inspiring and empowering. If I ever have the opportunity to work from the Space on a regular basis, I'll be there.

This place has a vibe about it like no other. The friendly staff and co-workers make this an inviting place to get down to bidness. The programs they put on are informative and community oriented, and for me the community part is huge. My first experience of being at a Startup Weekend was here and was amazing and my team won the event! We are trying to go to the next level with it and hope to get even more feedback from the folks at Proximity who contributed greatly to our idea. It's hard to say enough about how valuable a resource like this is in a small community. Suffice it to say it is invaluable. Hopefully you can visit on an ice cream day, because it is damn good day to skip your diet. I like gigabit speeds with my chocolate cone...doesn't everybody?

Coworking spaces help with collaboration and provide you with all the tools you need to get your job done. And Proximity space does just that. I have purchased several day passes to work at Proximity Space while passing through Montrose and have been 110% satisfied every time. This allows me to finish up my work while I am on the road and give me a clear head for the rest of my travels. The space is well designed, the staff is friendly and knowledgable and overall it was a great atmosphere. I recommend it to any small teams or individuals working in the montrose area or anyone who is passing through.

This opens up new doors for our community members by allowing them to start off right in their innovative ideas. Working with our returning military, I see the benefits that come from encouraging these individuals to create their own path to success and having this piece of support right downtown allows them to be more successful. Montrose, Colorado is a small town. There is no doubt about that. However, in being a small town in a centralized point to so many different communities. We get a lot of traffic from Telluride to Grand Junction, Gunnison to Telluride. Basically this means that we have a community that reaches outside of our city limits. Proximity Space's community not only consists those people within an hours drive, but as far as those who just pass through during their summer vacation only needing to work for a couple hours or a few days. Proximity Space provides a space that is conducive to working. With blazing fast internet, a friendly staff, and local fresh brewed coffee; Proximity Space is only truly made one of a kind by it's diverse community. Without that it would be just like every other coworking space or probably wouldn't have survived it's first year in a small town. We are truly blessed to have such an innovative space for a community full of innovators.

I rented the conference room to present a 2-hour workshop. The space was comfortable, well-equipped, and very conducive to learning. Hospitality included coffee and tea. The staff was terrific in helping promote my event.

I was really surprised to find such a great space with friendly service and fast internet in this little town. It made it really easy for me to stay on top of work while on vacation. The space was fresh and modern in a dot.com kind of way.

I had a desk at Proximity Space while I was trying to take a school I had started (www.transition-lab.com) to the next level. From the beginning we were working to teach creative solutions to complex problems that used local resources. Proximity was exactly the kind of place that helped us connect with potential students across the globe. These kinds of connections helped us recruit students from around the globe and share our MIT award winning ideas with a broad market. Their insanely fast internet, cool culture, and comfortable work space gave us the ideal combination to work on our marketing and business strategies as my school evolved. Even though it has now changed, and we have moved out of Proximity, I still go by and use their day desks when I want to get work done. In so many ways, I feel spoiled to have a 1st class workspace like Proximity Space in rural Western Colorado. It sounds cliche but I literally can't imagine a better co-working space than this.

Proximity Space has raised the bar for the entire town and region of Western Colorado. The space has revitalized the downtown area, opened up new opportunities for entrepreneurship, and given business and civic leaders a place to organically collaborate.
