What is the Wimbletech CIC project?

Wimbletech CIC is a community interest company i.e.: a business with primarily social objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the business or in the community.

Our mission is to make it possible for entrepreneurs to live good lives, to grow their businesses within spaces that they love, around people they care about, whilst contributing and giving back to their local community.

By transforming under-utilised library + public space in partnership with local Councils, we...

i. Help entrepreneurs & startups to start up, stay up and grow up
ii. Help libraries increase revenues, footfall, awareness & relevance
iii. Create local jobs + income, contributing to & strengthening community cohesion

This is delivered by our 3 x brands, Wimbletech (Wimbledon Library), TheWorkary (other libraries & Rivertech (a non-library, listed building space in Rickmansworth) - our founding philosophy is that anything is possible when you work together :)

Supportive human centred co-working space

Great working space with an awesome start up community at realistic rates near a train station within London. I have a fixed desk here and it cannot be faulted. The management really care about their tenants and being a community interest company it is not driven by profits which takes some of the anxiety out of setting up your own business.

Great place to work than in a coffee shop. 3 min away from Wimbledon st, allows 24x7 access - any day of the week., strong wifi connection, unlimited tea & biscuits. Community to promote startups and support the underutilized library spaces.

I work here on a full-time basis and love it. The location is great and so are Sidrah and David, the team who runs Wimbletech. Highly recommended if you're looking for a nice place to work and are tired of coffee shops.
