Predominantly a Visual and Performance Arts hangout, you can just pop in to grab a space to work on that project, hold a workshop or an unforgettable event. Bar Lab is connected to the Trade School network and holds regular exhibitions to showcase its members' work or a live performance. From professional skills to practical advice on specialist techniques, you will find a friendly face to collaborate with amidst creative free spirited bodies.

Located on the Jubilee Line, near the Willesden Green Tube, the coworking space is a mere 15 minutes jaunt from the West End precinct. Dominated by the arty crowd of professionals, entrepreneurs or freelancers, Bar Lab's atmosphere is that of enthusiastic souls floating around a space conducive to letting the creative juices flow.

The walls are awash with tasteful art pieces, comfy plush sofas are smothered in fluffy throw cushions and individual desk areas will keep your brain focused on what you should be doing, whilst the chill-out lounge area will have you networking and collaborating with sculptors, musicians, film makers, painters or coders.

You can plop yourself down at a basic desk with high speed Wi-Fi or choose a business package which includes free use of equipment (think screen & projector) with meeting room discounts. If you just want space to hold a meeting, exhibition, screening or a photo shoot, Bar Lab has the flexible area for you.

Bar Lab is open Tuesday to Friday (yay, a 3 day weekend) from 12pm to 6pm to meander into for a bit of fun and shenanigans. Members receive discounted hanging fees and priority notification of gallery or performance space opportunities. You also get to submit artwork for 3 Open shows per year, exclusive invitations to exhibition previews, discounts on art materials and the opportunity to join a lively community of creative minds.
