My review of Spithurst Hub
29.11.2019Spithurst Hub is nestled in the quiet countryside of Sussex making it feel more like a retreat than a workspace. The environment is as picturesque as it is relaxed and the owners have done a wonderful job of creating a welcoming, productive and creative community here. Having worked in several co-working spaces in Brighton, it was great to move to Spithurst Hub and find a more even balance of social vs working conditions, people are able to easily get their heads down and focus on their work without disturbance but with all the break-out space required for meeting others and of course enjoying some of Maria's fantastic team meals! Thank you Maria and Nigel!

My review of Spithurst Hub
29.11.2019Spithurst Hub is set in the tranquility of the countryside so from the moment you arrive you feel calm. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The Hub is a beautiful eco building, full of light with working spaces both inside and (if you have a laptop) outside too. I spent many an afternoon sitting in the sunshine on my laptop, with insect and bird life around me as well as a beautiful landscape including flowerbeds and a pond. Personally I am inspired by nature so this is the perfect environment in which to focus and be productive. There is a large kitchen with a range of free tea and coffee. Maria hosts co-working lunches at minimal cost on Mondays or you can take your own which means you are not distracted by the hubbub of a town or city. So if you need space, light, a calm and friendly atmosphere, then Spithurst Hub in Barcombe is for you. I highly recommend it as a co-working space.

29.11.2019Lovely space, ecological, bright airy, great people, real sense of community, good energy, great lunches on Mondays, an excellent place to work, to be on your own, get more done than one might at home (!) yet have people to talk to over lunch or when you wish.

My review of Spithurst Hub
29.11.2019A very pleasant atmosphere, with communal kitchen and weekly lunches. I have a private office space which is bright and airy, quiet for working, yet part of a community. It's a joy to come into this working space. The grounds are beautiful, organically-worked and full of plants and wildlife - there are also amazing walks to take during lunch-breaks. I can bring my dog into the office, too. There is provision for private meeting spaces, well sound-proofed for conversations and filming opportunites. When you walk in, there is always a pleasant greeting from the Hub managers and plenty of hot drinks and treats in the kitchen to enjoy.

My review of Spithurst Hub
29.11.2019Spithurst Hub is a really stimulating and calm environment to work in. The owners have worked very hard to make the Hub environmentally sound, visually attractive, and with a low carbon impact. It is a joy to work there - excellent (own blend) coffee, beautiful gardens and pond, comfortable desks and chairs, stylishly furnished and full of plants. Lovely Swedish biscuits and home made lunch. I've met some very interesting people there and recommend it very highly as an ideal place to get lots of work done, in a very pleasant and attractive environment. I'd work there all the time if I could - I commute to London some of the week.

29.11.2019Spithurst Hub is so much more than a coworking space. Put shortly Spithurst Hub is not just a trendy office set in the countryside but instead a vital and unique part of the East Sussex's business, startup, freelance and artist eco-system. Its hard to put into words but the team at Spithurst Hub have created something well beyond a coworking space ... an atmosphere, a community, a retreat with all the amenities to run your business, host seminars and events or just simply look for inspiration! A peaceful space. A wonderful team. Delicious lunches (thank you Maria!) . Great energy. Coworking space at its best.

My review of Spithurst Hub
29.11.2019Spithurst Hub is a unique rural coworking space set in the beautiful Sussex countryside with easy access to gardens, ancient woodlands and meadows whilst still benefiting from ultra fast fibre optic broadband. The purpose built building is modern, bright and comfortable and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Home cooked lunches are provided regularly and there is often a smell of freshly made sourdough bread and cakes. There is plenty of free on site parking.

29.11.2019This fantastic, rural co-working space is set amongst the beautiful Sussex countryside, offering a very peaceful and yet still very much accessible working space. Nigel and Maria have worked hard to create a space that offers modern features and a creative feel, coupled with adaptability and robust technology. This is a working space that suits a wide variety of corporate and sole business needs, with affordable and adaptable packages on offer. And then there is the home cooked food....... but you need to sign up and join us there to find out how good that is :)

29.11.2019A stunning setting in the beautiful Sussex countryside combined with super fast wi-fi, free printing, and delicious homemade cakes and coffee (also free!) in a light, airy, modern purpose-made space run by a fabulous family team. There's no better co-working space in south-east England.

29.11.2019It's a modern, relaxing and friendly coworking space with a lovely connection to the garden and countryside. They provide amazing lunches for everyone to enjoy and give you that community feeling. The added bonus of free parking is something most coworking spaces can't provide, and it's so important.

The best decision ever!
22.06.2019I started working over at Spithurst Hub in January 2019 and I can honestly say it is one the best decisions I have made since becoming self-employed. I was looking to find a work space where I can be productive, sociable and calm. Spithurst Hub ticks all those boxes for me... and delivers so much more. Words and phrases that spring to mind: community, welcoming, scandi, beautiful countryside, the fabulous Maria, eco-vibe, delicious lunches and outside space The other stuff: modern office facilities, coffee/tea, good wifi, printing etc. are all great too! Thank you Maria and Nigel for creating this wonderful place

A gem of a work space
20.06.2019Being a country girl, the location of Spithurst Hub is ideal as it's away from the bustle of town. There's ample parking, a walkway through landscaped gardens (with a pond and nature-friendly planting) and the Hub itself is housed in a beautiful building, in keeping with the surroundings. The atmosphere within the Hub is friendly and welcoming. I've only been here for a few months, but I already feel part of the community. There are a variety of businesses and individuals co-working, which is good for meeting others in the area and opening avenues for collaboration; for someone who works on their own, this has been an important advantage of moving to the Hub. And I can bring my dog with me; there are wonderful field and woodland for lunchtime walks! The kitchen is the heart of the Hub with unlimited hot drinks and treats on offer, plus a weekly community lunch which is prepared by the very talented, Maria (one of the Hub managers). I have a private office, with 24/7 access, which is bright and airy and allows me to work in private. But I also use the bench on the veranda for meditation and journalling. I haven't yet used the meeting room spaces, but I have plans to at a later date. I was looking for somewhere away from my home office, which I could use on a part-time basis: Spithurst Hub fits the bill, perfectly.

Space to think and breath
19.06.2019The quiet rural location allows space and time for me to think and focus from the moment I leave home. Excellent facilities and lovely people and the pleasure of being in the countryside away from distraction.

Spacious designed Hub, fantastic people, great work environment
19.06.2019Spithurst is a spacious Hub, professional yet relaxed and an excellent environment to work, network, share ideas and meet other entrepreneurs. The Hub has excellent facilities including a tranquil outdoor space, providing an alternative quiet working area. The kitchen is very well equipped and Maria provides great hospitality with her Monday lunches, which brings Hub users together at least once a week. It has a vibrant atmosphere in a rural location and creates a great environment to interact and meet new people.

A great find and wonderful support
02.04.2019A fabulous place to hold a meeting. Nestled in nature but accessible, a perfect place to work. The team at Spithurst Hub provided a relaxing wholesome home cooked lunch. I was blown away by the care and attention we received. Looking forward to booking the meeting room again. A great find!

Fantastic meeting space - highly recommend!
26.11.2018I've been using the meeting facilities at The Spithurst Hub for the last 6 months, to host a local business women's networking group. It's been a really positive move! The environment at The Hub is relaxed and welcoming, yet professional and well organised, with a real community feel. The meeting space itself is light, airy, comfortable and has everything you might need, including the best homemade cakes from the So Sussex Kitchen! I've also loved watching the outdoor space develop, and look forward to summer, and meetings that can 'spill out' and make the most of the gorgeous natural environment.

Nice place
22.11.2018When you add a link to http://spithursthub.co.uk/ here? This is a lovely working environment with great coffee, tea and kitchen facilities. Welcoming and quiet working environment. Free parking, which is a massive bonus plus there's a huge outside garden with seating space. The large garden is still being planted up but home already to many butterflies, dragonflies and more -all very beautiful and tranquil. So if you need a space to work definitely check it out. Maria makes you very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for her, she even cooks lunch on Mondays worth coming along just for that.

Glorious Place to Work
02.11.2018The Spithurst hub is a wonderful place to work, it has fantastic facilities in a lovely rural setting. The office has a quite, but friendly atmosphere I can honestly say it is a joy to spend time there. So if you need a space to work definitely check it out. Maria makes you very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for her, she even cooks lunch on Mondays worth coming along just for that. Whilst it is in a rural location the hub is easy to access and not far from Uckfield, Crowborough, Lewes, East Grinstead or Haywards Heath.

Great coworking space in the countryside.
12.10.2018This is a lovely working environment with great coffee, tea and kitchen facilities. Welcoming and quiet working environment. Free parking, which is a massive bonus plus there's a huge outside garden with seating space. The large garden is still being planted up but home already to many butterflies, dragonflies and more -all very beautiful and tranquil. There's an optional weekly lunch get-together which involves gorgeous healthy home prepared food- all for a very modest contribution. Lovely owners and a simple very user -friendly booking system. I would definitely recommend The Spithurst Hub as a comfortable, friendly, cost-effective, modern co-working space.
