Coworking Space: Maker's Yard in Leicester

Another coworking space under the same umbrella as Leicester Creative, Makers' Yard incorporates Makers' Box, a space that will showcase art and craft work of Leicester designer-makers in a glazed, lit setting, under a big, specially-commissioned screen designed by artist Phill Blake.

Makers' Yard is the premier studio space for creative souls, a dynamic and inspiring workspace for creative entrepreneurs sitting in the cultural quarter in the oldest surviving hosiery factory in the East Midlands. The venue is flooded with natural light and decked out in an edgy style making it an industrial and inspiring workspace.

It has been sensitively restored into ten studios, which houses a growing creative community of artists and designer-makers. It is a part of the City Mayor's commitment to supporting the city’s creative industries and made possible by Leicester City Council in partnership with European Regional Development Fund.

Coworking members can claim an individual or shared studio space with 24/7 access, 365 days a year. All utilities such as heating and service charges are included whilst electricity, phone and broadband Internet are invoiced separately if needed. Units are available on flexible terms and each studio will give you secure tenant access and an individual security system.
