A Dangerous, Filthy, and Neglected Site

While our individual office is maintained by us, the management has failed even the simplest internal request (the light bulb) while completely abandoning the safety and hygiene of the common areas. Review: A Dangerous, Filthy, and Neglected Liability – Basepoint High Wycombe I am writing this to provide a stark warning to any business considering Basepoint High Wycombe. We are vacating due to the extreme negligence of the management and a site that has become a physical danger to our staff and clients. Complete Neglect of Common Areas and Safety While we have kept our own office space in good order, the common areas—for which we pay a service fee—have been left to rot. The management, specifically Kai and Lauren, have allowed the site to fall into a state of total disrepair: • Severe Physical Hazards: The car park is a minefield of deep potholes and "pointy" jagged metal from broken lamp posts that could easily cause severe injury. There are even instances of people removing bricks from structures with no intervention. • Electrical & Trip Risks: There is random wiring left on the floor in the car park and walkways. Someone could easily trip or be electrocuted. • Sanitation Failures: The site frequently stinks. Bins are left to overfill constantly, and physical mess is scattered throughout the exterior units with no visible caretaker to clean it up. Incompetence in the Smallest Tasks The level of neglect is so systemic that even a simple request to change a light bulb in our office—requested 12 times over the course of a year—was never fulfilled. If they cannot manage a light bulb, they certainly cannot manage a business center. Admitted Management Apathy When confronted with these hazards—including the recurring broken gate that has physically trapped us on-site—the response from Kai and Lauren is staggering. They have explicitly stated that they "don't get paid enough," "don't own the business," and quite simply "don't care" as long as their paycheck arrives. Their "not our business" attitude is a direct threat to the safety of everyone on-site. A Toxic and Unprofessional Culture The management style is built on inconsistency and intimidation. They offer preferential treatment to some while using fines, pressure, and threats of termination against others. It is an environment of "rules for some" and "negligence for all." Conclusion Basepoint High Wycombe is a poorly run, hazardous, and unsanitary environment. Between the exposed wiring, the jagged metal, the potholes, and the stench of waste, it is an embarrassment to host clients here. We have retained documented evidence of all these issues. Avoid this site at all costs for the sake of your business and your physical safety.
