This centre is based in the Science Park’s incubation unit, suitable for high technology start-up, small and medium-sized companies. The building is over 20 years old and all the units are on the ground floor. Some units have loading bay doors. The units are unfurnished, but have carpets, blinds and a kitchenette. They are adaptable for office, workshop or laboratory use. Heated by night-storage heaters, metered electricity and the usual ISDN and ADSL broadband can also be supplied. Ample parking on a first come, first served basis. The centre has an attractive conservatory café. Business support is also offered which includes access to finance, marketing and a student placement programme.
