Having just moved to Brighton and becoming self-employed, I was keen to find an enjoyable and friendly space to work in. I have been made to feel welcome from the moment I walked in and cannot thank the team at Platf9rm enough for helping me settle in so quickly. There are lots of different spaces to work in, whether you want somewhere a bit livelier or quiet, which is great and don't forget about Friday drinks either! I would highly recommend this place : )

Platf9rm at Hove Town hall is a great co-working space, in a really convenient location. I highly recommend it.

Beyond the amazing workspace, there is a huge community of businesses that are very welcoming and supportive. The events calendar is always filled with great events and the team are super helpful as well. I work at both Brighton and Hove sites and both have lots of different spaces to suit your working vibe each day.

I can't recommend Platf9rm workspaces more highly! The Platf9rm team are amazing; the wide variety of spaces available and the general layout and design of the co-working and communal areas are all fantastic. (Particularly enjoy the quiet areas, phone booths for making private calls and meeting spaces available to use and/or book.) It is very clear to me that a vast amount of time, energy and love have gone into the set up of this space, from the furniture selection and layout of the spaces available to work in (there are so many options to choose from, especially if you're an early riser) but more than that is the wonderful community of co-workers you'll encounter. From the fantastic front of house team to the members everyone I have encountered to date has been warm, open, friendly and driven. This sense of community creates a great working atmosphere which helps me focus on my own workload but also offers vital time to stop, take a break, get inspired or simply enjoy a bit of chatter.

The best thing about P9 is the FOH staff. They take such good care of us, they are thoughtful, go above and beyond and nothing is ever too much trouble. The offices are amazing, and come with inspiring skyline views (in the Brighton office). There are plenty of different spaces to set-up in for different moods and needs. The tea selection is on point, the coffee making options are vast. The dogs are cute, fellow co-wrokers friendly and helpful. Friday drinks are a pleasure. Toilets are always clean. Punching bag could be in a more useable spot, but there is a punching bag.

Our team moved to PLATF9RM in Hove last October and we couldn't be happier about it. We were recently discussing our favourite things about working here and number one for everyone was the staff. The friendliest bunch - they genuinely make our day brighter and are happy to offer help, advice or encouragement if you need it (and also lots of laughs). They're a crucial part of why this is such a great space to be in, in addition to amazing interiors (I want the orange velvet chairs), hundreds of plants, big windows with lots of sunlight, different spaces to work in according to what you need to get done, coffee on tap, midweek treats, networking and training events, socials, excellent WIFI and being happily close to the beach. It's also a wonderful community of wicked people and it connects these people together for work and for FUN. Final point... in the office opposite to us there is a dog named Martha and she often spends her day hugging a toy panda. Nuff said.

Here's my checklist for what a good co-working space should have: 1) Different areas for different work modes (sometimes you just need to get your head down, sometimes you want to have a chinwag and a bit of background muzak) 2) Quality furniture (cheap chairs and tables suck) 3) Fast and reliable WiFi 4) NO charges for stuff like coffee and printing 5) A good mix of people working there (not just a load of programmers with headphones on) 6) An active staff who make you feel welcome 7) Funky decor and design (I don't want to feel like I'm working in library) 8) Phone booths (for more serious calls) and meeting rooms (The phone booths is my only issue as there are only 2 but there are going to be heaps more when the ground floor opens) Having tried most of the other co-working spaces in Brighton I can safely say that Platf9rm has got the balance of the above spot on.

I've been working at PLATF9RM since September 2018 and I definitely love it here, such a great coworking space! I'm really impressed with all things, it's not just the space to work - it feels like being a part of a great community with lots of networking opportunities which I think is one of the main advantages of this place. Stuff is very friendly and supportive, the atmosphere is on point and you can even get a cuddle with a dog to boost your mood :) Perfect location too, everything you need is around and only 5 min. walk from the seafront! I would definitely recommend PLATF9RM and I'm happy to be a part of this lovely community!

Fantastic co-working space full of friendly peeps. Feels like you have colleagues but never get mad at them for not doing their work. Great location, beautiful interiors and the staff make all the difference, always more than happy to go the extra mile. I've looked at a lot of co-working spaces around Brighton and nowhere holds a candle to Platf9rm. There's such a diverse membership at Platf9rm that it's a great way to network and build business connections and friends. The workshops/talks/socials are always fantastic, worth getting a membership just for the value you'll get from these events. Hurray for Platf9rm

I have been working from Platf9rm for over a year now, it's a great space, with great staff and great people. The staff are all super welcoming, friendly and helpful, always have a smile on their face. They do all they can to full-fill their ethos of building a warm, friendly, social, fun community. It's a great location, a bright open working space, I've never had a problem finding a good space to work or getting a good wifi connection, I can focus when necessary and be social when I want to. If you're new to Brighton/Hove or you've worked from home for a long time, it's a great place to get out of the house and meet new people without the usual awkwardness. Well worth it.

I checked out a few coworking spaces in Brighton before I decided on Platf9rm and I'm convinced I made the right choice. It's a fantastic place to work, the people are super friendly and it's been like a ready-made network for a newbie freelancer like me. The building is nothing special from the outside but it's different story once you get inside. I know that doesn't sound important but being in such a beautifully designed space makes a big difference to me and helps me feel relaxed, happy and productive at work. It's not like a lot of coworking spaces which can feel a bit soulless and dated. Oh, and there are dogs here sometimes.

I work remotely for a US company; previously I've worked from home and knew I needed somewhere with company, a dedicated space away from home to keep the separation between work / home life and working from home can be lonely. I've found Platf9rm to be a lovely place to work, I have a dedicated desk and have gotten to know a lot of people, through day-to-day chats with those nearby, making drinks and the frequent social gatherings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable place to work, collaborate and meet new people. Plus the wifi is really really fast :)

Taking up a designated office space at Platf9rm was one of the best decisions of 2018. As a screenwriter I'd fallen into the rut of working at home. The distractions, lack of structure and lack of contact with others had led to a kind of unproductive cabin fever. Moving in here has made a massive difference to the amount I get done and how I feel about work. Kerry, Matt and the team are a pure delight - professional, helpful and friendly - and I look forward to coming in every day. It’s given me structure, a much more stylish and friendly place to write and I get to see some actual people. I still have the solitude of my office but just outside the door is a warm, supportive community. And anywhere that cracks open a drink for everyone come Friday afternoon goes down well with me. So glad I found this place. I’m sticking around.

I've been working here for over 6 months and have been really impressed with all things PLATF9RM Hove. Very helpful staff, excellent work environment and some cracking socials :D Wifi was a little patchy at first but been great since. Sometimes certain noises can carry across the building so have to stick the headphones on. Don't see this as a problem though as it beats working at home. I also like the different meeting rooms and breakout areas. Everything you need in terms of food and refreshment facilities. Ultimately it's nice to feel like you are really part of a community!

The space is beautiful and well located in Hove. 5 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from the station. But beyond the (very good) amenities, one thing that sets Platf9rm apart from other co-working spaces is the community they have created amongst their team and members. The events platforms is really varied - from practical workshops, to yoga and fantastic socials. Not to mention the team running the space, who are super friendly and always willing to help. All in all, you'd be pushed to find a co-working space that offers more in Brighton & Hove. And with the new space opening downstairs, there's only going to be more on offer.

All the staff and other co-workers alike are really friendly. Amenities are great and it's super close to the beach! All of the networking and learning events that the PLATF9RM team organise on a weekly basis are all super valuable, plus the uber socials at the end of the month are a great way to bring the community together. If you're someone looking to sign up as a solo worker, you'll be welcomed with open arms here. Plus there are some lovely, friendly dogs here. Gotta love the dogs! In the next month or so from this review there will be even more amenities added, what with the cafe and showers being added on the ground floor section of the building. Absolutely tip top co-working space.

Platf9rm is just wonderful. I'm into my second year as a member and still get the same buzz as I did when I joined. Having reviewed many different working spaces in the local area of Brighton & Hove, Platf9rm stood out straight away for me. It's a cool, fun, lively and exciting place to operate my business and moving forward it will hopefully help me grow the company. All the front of house team are excellent, extremely helpful and run it in a very friendly and warm manner. If you looking for a great place to work, then look know further than Platf9rm :-)

My business partner and I have been members here for just over a year and we can’t recommend it highly enough! Great front desk team, always super friendly and ready to help with even the most random queries :-) They have also created a great community feel to the Hove workspace - lots of like minded, cool and friendly small business owners. Friday drinks and a great music playlist each day also helps! The office space is well designed with some private areas as well as communal areas and has a funky and comfortable feel to it. I genuinely love coming to work here each day, highly recommended!

I've done the co-working rounds across Australia, Asia, Middle East and Europe and can say, 'hands downs', that Platf9rm delivers everything you need plus more. The team has created an open, creative and green (it's like a rainforest..) space which strikes the balance of helping you get stuff done and being a friendly, sociable place to open your laptop. In particular, I love the open, shared desks mixed with the quieter nooks and crannies of which to work from or take a call. I've been a member since the start and have always found the team to be super approachable, responsive and who genuinely give a s#*t about their members. Highly recommend.

I've worked at Platf9rm in Hove for over a year and absolutely love it. When I joined it was just me, and now there are 4 of us. My team love working here as much as I do. The Platf9rm team are such a great bunch - really welcoming, supportive and great at connecting people with others, which in my case has led to some great collaborations. We run our social media training courses here so are regularly welcoming new clients into the space and each and every time, they are blown away by how impressive a space it is. There's a real variety in terms of where you can work and lovely areas for private meetings, quiet calls and team catch ups. I love the fact that you can move around depending on what you're doing and how you're feeling. The community at Platform are fab, I've met loads of new people and it's a joy to walk in every day. I joined PLATF9RM Hove Town Hall earlier this year and was immediately struck by the sheer opportunity that the space provides. I've made friends, I've witnessed businesses grow and flourish and I've made countless connections with people working in the local area. PLATF9RM isn't like other co-working spaces, it's not only a great place to work, but a fantastic community to boot. There's space you can book out for meetings and an incredibly helpful staff team on hand to help you get the most of the space. Additionally, the regular social events help you break the ice and get to know far more people than you might expect. I would highly recommend PLATF9RM for anybody who is bored stupid working alone or is keen to network and build their own enterprise. They may have their imitators, but it's almost impossible to copy-and-paste the strength that PLATF9RM have placed on community building and the opportunities that provides to their members.

My employee took a dedicated office space in the Hove Platf9rm over a year ago. I was sceptical about moving from a central Brighton location but working for a small company, I've really benefitted from having other people around who are keen to talk, socialise and while away the hours talking about local eateries and dogs (mainly). P9 have done a really good job at getting everyone together and creating the right atmosphere for a bit of work and a bit of play. The Front of House guys put a smile on my face every morning, no matter what mood I'm in, and they really go above and beyond to help you with every query, no matter how large or small. There's a great selection of events for members, coffee on tap, regular treats. I also love the option of working from the Brighton office for the day if I need to be more central. I don't know how they do it really.

A year ago we moved the office from the centre of Brighton where we had a boutique courtyard office space, unfortunately the premises had no atmosphere, and other businesses sharing the space kept themselves to themselves. Following the move to PLATF9RM Hove, we're now in amongst a great bunch of people who are always welcoming, happy to chat, share knowledge and see what we're up to. The events get us out of our office and encourage us to mingle, but they're all done in the PLATF9RM style, and don't feel to dry and boring. The Hove location brought with it many benefits too, one street from the sea front, it's quicker to get to in the car from out of town and parking is cheaper than Brighton, but we're still only a 10 minute bus trip to the city centre should we need a quick trip to the shops in a lunch break.

I've used Platform 9 on and off as a freelancer for over a year now, and it's easily top of my list for co-working in and around Brighton and Hove, staff and members are friendly and helpful, there's a great sense of community and if you want it - almost endless activities and socials to attend, but equally Platform 9 caters just as well for those who need a bit of quiet time and just want a comfortable space to get their head down and work without distraction. I've tried a couple of other co-working spaces and find myself coming back here, there's a warmer vibe and members seem far more likely to socialise regardless of their work or background - days spent in the Hove office in particular are always a joy, and I've met some lovely people and made connections I'd have otherwise missed out on - highly recommended.

Platf9rm is a great co-working space because of the friendly people there, its airy open plan feel and excellent facilities. For anyone bringing clients in for meetings, the space instantly gives a positive impression of your business, while the office management team are professional and welcoming at all times, to members and clients of members. There's a great selection of events - for both learning and fun - on offer every week and a real buzz about the place. The Platf9rm team are a super bunch of people who really care about building a community that works for anyone wanting to have a lovely place to come and work at a reasonable price, while building professional relationships and friendships to boot. Highly recommend.

If you're going a little mad working from home, want to feel part of a community and miss the banter of working at an actual office, then I couldn't recommend Platform9 highly enough! The team at Platform9 are always happy to help and welcome you each morning with a cheerful hello! It helps that the space has been well designed, with a colourful, fun and functional mix of furnishings, which helps to make it happy place to work. Reliable wi fi, a range of useful workshops, free morning yoga, constant flow of coffee and tea, regular socials and fab people...what else do you need from a co-working space!!

We have run our small business from a dedicated office in PLATF9RM for a year now. In that time we have all made friends, helped some others out and got some help where we needed it. The PLATF9RM team are as helpful and friendly as they are talented and proficient. The hard work that goes into really driving an honest community feel pays off and we have all benefited greatly - that's what sets this place apart. Going from a small private office previously to this wide open space full of creative and innovative people has had a profound impact on our productivity and outlook. It also helps that the WiFi is insanely fast, the coffee is always ready and everything is on your doorstep!

I so love this place! It has truly transformed my working week and the way I work. I used to work from home and that just didn’t work as I'd easily get distracted. I actually say good morning & goodnight to my co-workers like we all work for the same company... As my company grows in size I'll stay here and just take more space :) The team are especially excellent... I have met so many interesting people here and made lots of good business contacts. It is open 24/7 which really works for me too!! there is also free coffee and fruit too...:) x

The Hove Platf9rm is in a nice location, with an impressive address for meetings or correspondence. The Work Space is large but with a well thought out interior design that makes it flow in a natural way. I find it easy to get my get my head down and concentrate there. The Team are very helpful, professional and really nice. All of the amenities and wifi etc work well and are very new. The kitchen is well stocked, the tea and coffee are good and never run out. If you are a member you can work weekends as well if that's your thing.

After working at home for 5 years, it was very lonely and with so many distractions, I wasn't very good at getting stuff done. Searching online led me to Platf9rm as well as a couple of other coworking spaces in Brighton/Hove. Platf9rm happened to be the last appointment of the day and it was definitely a case of "saving the best to last". The space is so bright and welcoming, you instantly want to sit on one of the comfy sofas or set yourself up at one of the desks. Plants, books, decor makes it feel very welcoming and you feel at home, rather than at an office yet at the same time, you have the inspiration to work hard and focus. There are so many different happy faces in the office which makes it so clear it is a place with positive energy to work in. I joined the Hove office in October and love it. Kerry's friendly face welcomes me each morning and I've made friends as well as just fellow coworkers. I love getting to know everyone, hearing their news and hearing success stories about their business. They have great ethics too, support local businesses and charities and everything just works. WIFI is fast, coffee and tea is stocked (from local companies of course), you have a microwave to use, fridge space etc. I also rent a locker so can literally leave work at work and go home at the end of the day. The socials are a great way to get to know people and they're all different. In fact, I must switch off now as one of the fellow members is about to start a wine tasting. :)

I joined Platf9rm at the beginning of October. The design is great - really well done, so the environment is a lovely one to work in. There are enough quiet areas if you really need to get your head down and work, and enough open areas to get a buzz from fellow coworkers. Others working there are very friendly - chatty if you want to be, not if you don't want to be. The staff are great - super helpful and friendly, and keen to make sure you get the most from being there. I've never had an issue re WiFi - all great; free coffee (bit strong), and tea; well-thought out events put on but no pressure - go along if you want to network or get to know others more. Joining has been really positive. Would be great if I could buy can of coke or snacks, rather than needing to go out - vending machine?

Having been a freelancer and before that a contractor for many years I have worked at many so called co-working hubs or offices. None have been a patch on Platf9rm. From the moment you walk in you are met with a space with has been designed to really wow but much more important than that - helps you thrive as a freelancer! A real community feel, and unlike other places I have used people actually talk to each other! The staff are great and really go above an beyond making your feel at home. The community feel drives the offices with socials and an active Slack community too. I would very much recommend these fantastic co-working offices in the heart of Hove and i hope to see you at the next social ;)
