Coworking Space: BrigHub in Brighouse

BrigHub is Brighouse’s first co-working space, offering hotdesking, dedicated desks and meeting solutions for freelancers, remote workers, start-ups and established businesses.

Based at Vulcan House, which is located just 300 yards from Brighouse Railway Station, BrigHub offers a vibrant and welcoming environment for collaboration and growth.

BrigHub was launched by Stefanie Hopkins during the Covid-19 pandemic. Stefanie has run Brighouse-based PR, social media and content agency Faith PR for over 13 years and is also a director of the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.

She wanted to create a supportive and collaborative space for those who will continue to work flexibly beyond the pandemic; a professional, shared working environment for freelancers, start-ups, or remote workers who simply want a change from their four walls for a day.

The aim is for BrigHub to be a community of businesses that supports each other, whether it’s through collaboration, offering a different point of view, a bit of inspiration, business advice or the motivation everyone needs from time to time.

When Stefanie and her husband Carl acquired Vulcan House, the home of BrigHub, the building had stood empty for over a year. They embarked on renovating the former Victorian pub, stripping it back and piecing it back together, room by room. Walls were knocked down and bricked up windows and doors reinstated to breathe life into the building once again.

The result is a unique, characterful building that boasts every essential modern amenity.
