Great space, food and people
12.04.2021Fantastic space, really well thought out. Nice big spaces to work, dedicated calling rooms that are not too small. The "restaurant" is great, fantastic food and super friendly staff bring it right to you.. and yummy smoothies too :) Good community (even in COVID times with fewer people coming and going makes it a friendly place to work and hang out.

Well designed co-working space
08.01.2020The good: * Big and amazing co-working space * Fast WiFi in the space AND in the apartments * Great café and restaurant, with delivery straight to your desk using the online system * Working WiFi and power during island wide power cuts The negatives: * The "food package" is limiting your daily meals to KoHub or else the pre paid money is wasted. Next time I will do without it. * I would like to see more professional events and presentations for connecting people and sharing of skills Hope I can come back soon :)

My review of KoHub
29.11.2019360dg service. First class Internet. Staff are awesome. They do all what they can to make you feel comfortable. You can focus on your work in an informal yet serious atmosphere. Space is very peaceful, quite and well set up. nice balance between open-air and indoor spaces. Office furniture is getting improved. Social events promote exchange between members. I made very good friends there. For sure, I would spend the largest "remote working" time there. BRAVO guys. You definitely got the DNA of your job. Of course there are some points leaving room for improvement, which the management and the team will, for sure, take care of soon.

My review of KoHub
29.11.2019The best community builder of all coworking places I have been. It's well furnished and services are top, staff doesn't hesitate to help you out with all kinds of requests, including those related to living, food, visa procedures, 4g access, scooter rental, etc... They keep a weekly planning of activities to make our stay better and fun, going a step further on organizing new activities that have members' interest (snorkeling, boat trip, trekking, group diners, etc...)

My review of KoHub
29.11.2019Kohub really has it all. They have an amazing workspace that facilitates focus and productivity. Located on the quiet less-touristy island of Koh Lanta they are off the main road with a beautiful jungle garden out back and just 10 minutes walk from the beach. There is a small walking loop through the garden if you need to walk to solve your problem. There are sometimes power outages on the island, but Kohub had backup generators and I have never experienced an Internet outage here; consistently the speeds are >200Mbps. My favorite feature oof Kohub is the on-site restaurant. You can order via a web portal and the staff bring your meal right to your location so there's no interruption in focus or worry about where to eat. The food is yummy and cheaper than most of the restaurants nearby (100-200THB or $3-6USD). We stayed for 1 month and will definitely be back.

My review of KoHub
29.11.2019The space is comfortable and super fast internet, in a surprising location. I generally get about 180 mb/s a second, which is amazing on a tropical island. The space is one thing, but the community is next level

I used to think it wasn't possible to be productive in paradise...
16.06.2019...until I found KoHub on Koh Lanta! First things first: the island is stunning, and KoHub allows nomads to live the dream island life by giving them a reliable place to work as well as a strong community. This mix of a very productive AND social environment is what makes KoHub really special and why it's one of my two favourite coworking spaces around the world so far. I've been twice already and am already thinking of staying longer next year!

A place for everybody incl. your soul :)
14.03.2019I am here now for a week and I really love this place! They have everything you need including a cute cat which always looks for volunteers petting her :D The staff is very friendly and helps whit all your needs - from work till food everything is really nice. What I really love is the little garden with the waterfall which gives you time to relax and think. Its a very uncomplicated, easy and safe place to give you enough space to work or connect. The island at all is very cosy, really chilled hippie place, not the cheapest in Thailand but if you not going out a lot and be clever, you can live here on a good budget! For work: I am here in the end of the low season, there is always enough space and quite and cool places when needed. The WIFI for my needs (also watching movies haha) was always great. Even when we had an electric shut down caused by an accident the WIFI was still working :) For food: The food which you can order tastes great and you can choose many options to adopt (less fat, not spicy, no slat, whatever) but its compared to the portion size and the other places more expensive. F.e. tom yum soup THB 120,- or Massaman curry THB 140,- Most often i brought my own food, which is no problem. In the little kitchen you can prepare your stuff, there is always water, coffee and tee for free :) (And at coffee break also cookies woho) For free time: The Kohub is in a nice area. The beach is not too far away and they also have here some games, guitars, pool table, etc. or just a chill zone or massage. If you don't expect any entertainment or big sports it's all fine. There is still a big place in the garden unused - we all hope its gonna be a pool soon :) For living: I haven't booked one of the apartments but people around are very comfy with them. You find also a lot of nice rooms or beach bungalows around, no problem to find a good place. For soul: I really love the place and island, just take a relaxed walk on the beach, go to old town. You can be yourself. Its not hectic, there are no big rules. There are nice families around, couples or single traveler like me. Take a yoga class, thai cooking or just enjoy the really green island! I recommend it to all of you who love life and enjoy great people, food and good work!

Probably the Best coworking in the world
02.04.2018Great coworking where you have everything you need if you are a digital nomad. Wifi is OK. You can order the food from your computer, very useful to be more efficient and don't loose time looking for lunch. Also you don't need to have cash. Members can have acces to a whatsapp group in order to meet to do activities or meet in the village, so you always have something to do when you are not working. Also each day the staff organice some social activities as Games, dinners, sunset meeting. ...... ........ .... ... . . . . . .

Awesome community, staff, facilities and location.
26.04.2017My 2nd stay in Kohub now - I will be coming back again :) PROS: Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, keen to give advice or even go out for a drink or meal with members. Events (day trips/drinks/meals/games etc) happen pretty much every day which you can attend if you feel like it, no pressure. Wifi is excellent, never had an issue at all, faster than mine back in the UK. Air con is great and plenty of desk space and decent chairs. Also free coffee and water, and a fridge full of coke, soda, beer etc. Open 24/7. Kitchens are open 9am – 5:30pm. Food is great, healthy, and you order it on your laptop which means you can have it straight to your desk if you wish. A lot to choose from so you’re unlikely to be bored, and they keep adding new meal options all the time. You can get a package deal which gives you 2 meals a day (with extras), plus an air conditioned room. I personally think this a good deal, the food is great. It forces me to come to Kohub to eat/work if I don't want to waste my money, which I think is a plus point since it means I do more work. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to come here and focus on getting their project off the ground, you don't have to think about sorting out accommodation, or where you're going to go for food. The apartments are in a good location (2 mins walk from the beach) with a few places you can go for breakfast/evening meal, and laundry just across the road, there’s also really good wifi which I don’t think you get in many other places on the island. To get to the Kohub "offices" it’s a short scooter ride, or you can walk along the beach (what an awesome commute!) which takes about 20 mins. The island is literally my favourite place in all of SEA, beautiful beaches, plenty of nightlife, enough amenities (gyms, supermarkets, healthcare etc). Some people are put off by the low season here (if you look at the weather forecast it will say rain 24/7), but after staying here for 3 months during the low season I can tell you this isn't true. On average you'll probably get a tropical shower for about 1 hour a day. CONS: Mosquitoes absolutely love me, so this is a big factor for me. I can’t work outside on the deck unfortunately, if I do I get about 6-10 bites per day. However the air con room I usually sit in looks out into the greenery of the Kohub garden, and I very rarely get bitten in here. The apartments don’t seem to get any mossies at all, maybe because my room is a couple of stories up? I’ve stayed here 4 months in total and I’ve seen a blocked toilet maybe twice, and there are 3 toilets and a urinal to choose from so it’s unlikely to affect your life too much. The water does go (run out/break – I dunno) fairly often, on average maybe an hour a day, but there are big containers of water for washing your hands and flushing when you need them. Power outages happen rarely, but the staff are really quick to kick into action and have the backup generators working (including the aircon) within less than 5 mins.

Great community and value for money
22.04.2017It was my second time at the KoHub in Lanta. It is a great community, good Coworking with lots of equipment to get stuff done. I liked the food and the daily walk to the beach. Fun in the evening but no must. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Polly.

My favorite coworking space in the world!
22.04.2017My wife and I have been digital nomads for two years. We've visited about a dozen coworking spaces in Southeast Asia in that time, and KoHub is by far the best. We're currently on our third trip to KoHub, and we've stayed for 1 month on each trip. Here's a little video I made about KoHub: https://youtu.be/Pjf9nzMuuHE?t=4m24s KoHub is truly a social coworking space: There are lots of events and opportunities to meet other members so the atmosphere is friendly and collaborative, and the staff engages with you on a personal level. That makes KoHub special. You'll understand once you visit! The staff at KoHub is awesome. They will show you around KoHub, introduce you to other members, give you advice on where to stay and eat while on the island, and treat you like family. The facilities are good. There is a huge deck where you can work outdoors in the shade — the furniture on the deck is charmingly made of bamboo — and there are three very large air conditioned rooms with plenty of chairs and desks. KoHub food is delicous and available all day (from about 8:30am to 5:30pm). You order the food on the KoHub member website, and then the kitchen staff will bring it right to your desk. It's a real luxury. There are also shakes, fruit juices, and snacks. Keep in mind: KoHub is a coworking space on a tropical island. Sometimes the power can go out, sometimes the water pipes can clog up, and sometimes the mosquitos outside can be really bad. This is not KoHub's fault, and the staff will do whatever they can to fix the problem. If you have the right mindset, none of these little challenges will bother you, and you will love it at KoHub.

Don't get your hopes up
17.04.2017So, the good: neat people congregate here, KoHub organizes lots of events, including weekly dinners, the wifi really is good. The bad: the toilet is unusable. You can't throw toilet paper in but enough people do that it clogs daily & won't flush by midafternoon. The lodging is poor value for money. A very nice guy warned me away because when he arrived he was given the key to a room with a woman *already in it*--*asleep*. When I brought this up with the owner he blamed it on the sleeping woman. Really. The food is great at first. After a few days, if you bought the package, you'll be wishing you could eat anywhere else. Don't buy the package. They remind me of a gym--I suspect they make a lot of their money off of people who don't show up, who prepay and then get disappointed. They take 30% of all refunds, so buyer beware.
KoHub responded to this review
We are sorry for your experience and we like to learn from our mistakes as a business. But manipulating stories about us based on “hearsay” and lying about the “owners” response is just not constructive. Threats of slander on review sites will not get you a refund when you jut walk away from a contract without any notice. Take some responsibility for your actions. We need to protect ourselves as a company so we have terms and conditions like ANY other responsible business in the world, we have them to protect ourselves from people like you. We want to be here in 10 years time! FOR THE RECORD: The couple who had booked the room hadn’t left and overstayed and so when our housekeeping came to check, the person was in the room. The person in the room who didn’t check out apologised to our staff because of the incident and there was nothing our staff could have done to prevent it. The owner did not blame the customer. It was all very amicable, you are the one manipulating the story for your own benefit. Also We are not responsible for what happens inside a toilet cubicle, we do everything we can (many signs and requests), but toilet paper does simply not belong in an SE Asian toilet, if it is ever blocked we try our best to clear asap. Good luck with your travels and despite this treatment we still wish you well in your journey.

Perfect (except mosquitoes)
12.01.2017Mosquitoes bite me everyday. So I was always in AC room while putting on my long pants. Any other things were fine.

Best place to work close to the beach
14.12.2016I stayed only for three days but it was an amazing experience. I love the open outdoor space and met lots of interesting people. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food delivery to your desk was one of my favorite things, as well as the proximity to the beach. Ko Lanta is a beautiful and calm island with moderate prices.

Superfast WiFi in Paradise
12.07.2016Amazing coworking space in the Thai paradise that is Koh Lanta. The owner has really created a great community too - with social lunches at the coworking space giving everyone the chance to get to know one another. Love it!

More than just a coworking space
08.07.2016So much more than just a coworking space, there is a real sense of community at kohub. Also, great food, WiFi, Staff. Highly Recommended if you are in Thailand.

A coworking paradise
07.07.2016Kohub was the best possible introduction to co-working. After quitting the 9-5 and deciding to go on the run as a digital nomad there was no better affirmation of the decision than visiting this place. The co-working community was very welcoming, hosting GOT nights, dinners and sporting events frequently- there was always something to do to meet & hang out with like minded people. The amenities in the space are fantastic, with plenty of room, in what was essentially a zen tropical paradise with aircon, fast internet, food delivered to your desk and as much free coffee as you could poke a stick at. James, the owner ensures everyone is looked after- and created a family environment despite the constant influx of newbies. Koh Lanta itself is the perfect sized island, grab a motor bike & accommodation on the beach and the place is your oyster, with yoga, gyms, a national park and plenty of bars and restaurants its really easy (& cheap) to get into the glorious routine of island life. Cannot recommend highly enough- this place is what dreams are made of!

Awesome
07.07.2016Stayed a month there, it was fantastic, coworking is close to the beach, with an A/C room, with 24h access! Will go again soon!

Good community, excellent space!
07.07.2016Impressive the work that James and the staff have done. They've built such an excellent coworking/community in the middle of nowhere. Thanks, was an unforgettable experience. :-)

Digital nomad paradise
07.07.2016What I love about KoHub is the community- Koh Lanta is like my second home and Kohubbers are like my extended family ! The coworking space is also great, the location is perfect and the wifi is fast! Would totally recommend for digital nomads, especially for solo/solo female travelers as its very safe and friendly island !

Tropical coworking space
07.07.2016Nice place to work and chill, Kohub's employee and James is always there to help and advise you. Every week there are new events/trips for Kohubers.

Fast internet, nice community
07.07.2016Used the common areas only. Was nice & friendly. Fast reliable internet, nice staff, yummy food, 24/7 access, what else? You can even get your deliveries here (i.e. A new laptop!).

Brilliant location and atmosphere
07.07.2016I had a fantastic time at KoHub in November 2015. I found the island of Koh Lanta a great location, with a great mix of people. HoHub really promotes a great lifestyle, and just 2 minutes walk from the beach, a fantastic setting, and awesome people, who wouldn't enjoy it?! James (the owner), is fantastic, and is extremely hands on in trying to ensure everyone gets the absolute most from their time at KoHub. Koh Lanta has many peaceful beaches, and some brilliant places to eat and drink. Looking forward to returning.

Best community ever
07.07.2016I spent about 4 months on Koh Lanta and in Kohub...longer than expected because I had such a great time there! Not only offers KoHub everything you need for getting your work done (fast internet, delicious food served on your desk), but it also offers a "family". I found a very great, supporting and helpful community there. It felt like being surrounded by colleagues and friends and not by random coworkers. KoHub is ideally located, close to the beach and everything else you need on an island like Koh Lanta. So far for me definitely the best coworking space I've been too!
Jessica Groening
Amazing tropical place
07.07.2016Tropical KoHub really is a place of its own. Sitting in the shade, watching the big Buddha sitting in the garden, having the most amazing and healthy food...Roger the cat entertaining you...and James and the whole team really are amazing. They are helping you with everything, be it work-related or personal. Of course the Internet connection is very very good, the working places are great (with air con inside or fan outside), Skype boothes inside and in the wonderful garden, but the team makes it really special and very personal by organising trips, parties, movie nights, sport events etc Just go there!!!

No better place to be productive close to the beach
07.07.2016I've seen many coworking spaces in the last years but the Kohub has been my favourite. The community of Kohubbers is amazing, the location couldn't be better and the working conditions (inside and outside) are perfect to get things done. You should come here if you wanna connect, exchange ideas and work in a tropical environment.

Best work place of our lives!
07.07.2016These is literally nothing to dislike about Kohub - great people, the food, proximity to the beach, location, wifi, programme, you name it! We spent 3 incredible months there and Kohub nailed it! Thank you!

Great location, good infrastructure, fabulous community!
07.07.2016Getting things done and enjoying life! Not just a great work environment, but also an amazing community. You can choose a workspace on the huge outdoor terrace with a beautiful garden view and fans or indoors with air condition. The food is great, the staff very friendly and helpful, the beach right around the corner and Lanta is a beautiful island both for relaxing and partying. I will definitely be back.
Simon Price
Solid coworking space with strong community
07.07.2016Fundamentally it is the ONLY place you will get a good consistent internet connection. This alone means it's a no brainer to join. But over and above this it delivers only loads of other aspects. Great healthy food, good social network and superb location right by the beach. Go there...
Saman Hashemian
Probably the best incubator in the world
07.07.2016Nice location in a great and relaxed island. Close to the beach and amazing facility with nice garden and a lot of space. Perfect to focus on work and have a good time after. Nice food and amazing service as well!

My memorable 2 months on a tropical paradise with a kick-ass coworking space
07.07.2016I stayed on Koh Lanta for 7 weeks from late January to Early march of 2016. After spending a week relaxing and enjoying some beach time, I turned up at one of KoHub's famous quiz nights and met the current gang of digital nomads that were spending every other day productively killing it in the awesome space that is KoHub. Everyone was so welcoming and easy to talk to and I think this had a lot to do with the sense of community that is encouraged by the owner as well as the staff and in particular the volunteer assistants who act as community managers in a sense. This is one of the primary things that makes the community feel of this coworking space far better than any other I've been to so far, it's the emphasis they put on including everyone not just during work hours but off them as well. No other coworking space that I've been to will have its members and the owner James constantly send out invitations on the private group chat for week end activities or just going for a delicious dinner or hanging out after it gets dark. For the rest, there's not much to complain about. KoHub has the best wifi on the island they are probably the only ones that have a generator capable of keeping everything running during the not uncommon blackouts. Their kitchen serves delicious healthy meals at more than reasonable prices. The free coffee is actually good if you take time to make it that way using their various coffee making devices, otherwise instant coffee is readily available. The location is incredible with the beach just 3 minutes walk away and many delicious yet affordable restaurants both on the beach or on the side of the road. For those reasons and others I won't mention, my time on Koh Lanta and at KoHub make these almost 2 months the best leg of my trip since leaving home 8 months ago! My only complaint (and hence why I rated everything perfect except the "productive environment" is that with so many cool people and events being organized on a daily basis.. and the beach so close you could almost throw a rock at it.. well it can be difficult to stay disciplined and goto bed early. Some people may find that this isn't a problem but truth be told those 2 months were hardly my most productive ;-)
Raphael Rychetsky
Super nice Coworkingspace with great community
07.07.2016I really enjoyed working from Kohub. The beach is only a few minutes away, coffee is good, wifi is good too (on an island!) and the food and fruit shakes are delicious. I really liked that there are community events a (optional) communal lunch. I definitely will come back.

Unique coworking experience
06.07.2016I've been in many coworking places in Thailand, but this one is special. It's a paradise inside a paradise. Perfect basics (internet, tables, seating..) and unforgettable atmosphere.

Amazing community!
06.07.2016In march of 2015 I booked a flight to Bangkok, with no idea in mind where do go ... luckily though a blogpost of Johnny FD I found KohHub. From the moment on I arrived I felt welcome and loved the space. Over the next weeks I got the love the island as well, what a great place. I am still in touch with the people I meet there. And always thinking of coming back!

Lovely working environment on a tropical island
06.07.2016I stayed on Lanta for four months 2015 and checked out KohHub do get sone work done. Stayed there for the entire period and enjoyed myself emencely. KoHub has a friendly staff, supportive owner, great community of workers, fun communal activities and always open but still peaceful working environment. I'm going back now in 2016 and this time I'm staying a full year. See you there?!

The open air working style is simply fantastic
06.07.2016KoHub was definitely the best coworking space that I have ever worked at Especially that you can work open air is fantastic.

Wonderful Experience!
06.07.2016Kohub is really an enjoyable place to come and relax and get work done. I was recommended to come here by a friend and have not been disappointed. This is great place to meet other nomads and experience the beautiful beaches. The staff at KoHub are the best and really support and help you with whatever you need. The food at Kohub is really delicious as well, they have nutritious smoothies and vegetarian options. I would recommend this place to any other nomad with out a doubt.

Great spot to work and live!
06.07.2016I really enjoied the stay. It's a great opportunity to meet other coworkers and to hear about their projects to get new ideas! It was very easy to work focused and undistubed. If you need to get a free mind just go to the beach which is just a 1 min. walk. The community Lunch as well as the dinner and after work beers with the other KoHubbers were just awesome. Will be back soon.

Coworking on an amazing island!
06.07.2016KoHub is a very special coworking space. The main reason for me probably is that it's 5 min walking distance from the beautiful beach on Koh Lanta. So while you are working from KoHub you can always go for a swim in the ocean and watch beautiful sunsets on the beach after a productive day at KoHub. And believe me that you will be productive, because the community is amazing. I made a lot of great friends while working from KoHub and hope to meet them again. What I really liked about KoHub is that they have really delicious food that they prepare freshly and deliver right to your desk — although I have to say that I also loved the communal lunch, where you can always take a break from your work and meet each and every day new like-minded people. I am sure that James (the owner) is always eager to improve KoHub to make the experience for all of us even better. I will definitely be back and am really looking forward to it.

06.07.2016Amazing people and like minded come to Kohub, it was my first experience at a coworking space for a period of time. Kohub didn't disappoint, with amazing food and friendly staff. So close to the beach for that evening walk to wind down and made some really good friends being there in the space of 3.5 weeks. Looking forward to heading back soon :)

06.07.2016Working in Kohub really feels like working on a tropical island, which Koh Lanta is of course. You can easily walk to the beautiful beach (just 50 meters away) after work. The outside work area at Kohub is surrounded by palm trees and desks are made of bamboo which looks pretty cool. Besides the cool office, the community is amazing as well. With a lot of activities organised by community managers you're never bored. Kohub is open 24/7 and if you ever have to work at night the two cats, Mini and Roger are amazing company!

Productivity boost & warm
06.07.2016Environment is quite and welcoming. People out there focused on their projects, that motivates you too. Internet connection was faster than back in Amsterdam so don't worry. Excellent place to be :)

A great coworking space on a great island
06.07.2016Kohub has a great community of people from all around the world. While the island itself is quite peaceful, there is always some nightlife available if you want it. The space itself has a productive vibe. Many interesting people and projects!

Koh Lanta is a perfect place to live and work
06.07.2016The coworking space is great. Lots of room, inside and outside to work (depending on whether you want aircon or not). The community is great. It's one of the things that really made the space so good. Lots of activities are planned (like movie night, parties, or dinners). You can order food from the onsite restaurant which is awesome. Also very close to the beach. WiFi was steady and has backups so there was never a problem with internet. The island itself was awesome. Lots to do. Everything is very close together and scooters are a cheap way to get around. Can't wait to go back again.

Friendly and we'll run with a range of great workspaces a short walk from the beach kohub really has it all.
05.07.2016I have been a member of kohub since shortly after it opened and it has been a joy to see it develop. Great workspaces, well run and friendly with a great social scene. Recommended.

Productive work in an awesome environment
05.07.2016Stayed for one month in Koh Lanta and worked in KoHub all the time. The fast internet, good food, nice people and great location make it an awesome place to stay as digital nomad! Worked really productively and enjoyed a few breaks in between at the nearby beach :). Can highly recommend and will definitely come back!

A Gem in Asia
05.07.2016Been to KoHub for about 3 months in total - love it, the staff, James and the whole atmosphere. They keep the internet running by gas generators even when the whole island is down. Can't beat the experience, weekend activities & people.

05.07.2016We loved KoHub! The best co-working space you could wish for. Got so much work done, had lots of fun and made great friends for life! Will definitely go back some day! PS: The food is absolutely awesome!!!

Best coworking space in the World
05.07.2016I was there for two months. It is a perfect place for working and to connect to other people. Watching Sunset at the Beach is a must on Koh Lanta. I love the big Buddha in the Garden and especialy I fall in love with Roger, the Kohub-Cat :-)

Excellent Space
05.07.2016Working at Kohub is awesome. A strong community of like-minded people, great amenities like a daily lunch to get to know everyone else, and an awesome vibe as the space is just steps from the beach. Plus all of the beauty of tropical Thailand is just a quick motorbike ride away, without all of the hassle of the tourism industry. Can't wait to come back!

05.07.2016The cats, the food, the photo up on the wall on arrival and the super friendly staff at Kohub make it an extremely accomodating place to not only work, but live.

Well Designed, Social, Easy Coworking Spot at the Beach.
05.07.2016KoHub has been my favorite coworking space as I have traveled around Southeast Asia. It has a range of work environments (AC/Fan/Indoors, Outside on the desk, garden), plenty of plugs and space, and fast internet. There is a great restaurant on site that makes tasty, healthy food, plus there is free coffee and water. The beach is a 5-minute walk away and makes for a great afternoon break. The people I met at Kohub continue to cross my path in all different parts of the world and are some of the first people I go to for biz advice. It's been a wonderful network to have. Kohub does a nice job of arranging events for members, without being too invasive. Koh Lanta is an incredible island with all the best parts of the Southern Islands: beach bars, quiet spots, snorkeling and diving, treks on the island, great food, Muay Thai, and local culture.

Great place to work, be focussed and really enjoy the most beautiful island
05.07.2016The location of Kohub is great, just in the north of the island, easy to get there (and otherwise Polly will help you) and surrounded by a beautiful garden. The beach is so close you can hear the waves (just in green season) and is just a one minute walk! Great place, great food, great people and I really got a lot of work done!

Sun, Fun, get work done!
05.07.2016Amazing place in Koh Lanta. A must for digital nomads! Very good environment, structure and location, but the best part is probably the big community they have built here: there is always something going on and there is no chance to feel alone.

Great community in a lovely place
05.07.2016KoHub is a gem: a quiet place that has all that you need nestled in the tropical forest near a lush beach. What else could you want? Oh, yes, a social life. And this is where KoHub is so special: the community feel is what makes it a truly unique place. I am definitely going back.

Spent 5 months on Koh Lanta / Kohub
05.07.2016I spent five months on Koh Lanta working at Kohub. Fell in love with the island. James (Kohub owner) has been globetrotting forever. Been everywhere & done everything. Everything about the place and the environment is surreal - you'll hate yourself for going home.

Great Coworking & Community on a tropical island
05.07.2016Spend two months at KoHub last year and already thinking about returning soon. It's not just an office, but an awesome community of openminded people and now friends. Delicious food, good location and super friendly staff.

Best coworking space I've been to.
05.07.2016Perfect location just 2 minutes walk from the beach, great atmosphere with high speed internet. James and his staffs were very kind and helpful. Awesome place overall, can't wait to go back there soon.

One of the best, especially in terms of 'destination working'
05.07.2016KoHub is so much more than a coworking space, it's a community. More important to me than having a slick place to work is who you're going to meet and KoHub has one of the most tightly-nit community I've experienced. That's why my girlfriend and I stayed three weeks at KoHub apartment and worked out of the coworking space on a near daily basis. Would highly recommend!

Unbeatable Community & Productivity!
05.07.2016There's something about KoHub I've been unable to find anywhere else. My guess is that it has just the right combination of everything for me - great community (no matter the season), productive environment, beautiful location, and great food. Since it's a small island and there aren't a ton of activities to get distracted by, it's a great place to get things done. And when you're done hustlin', there are always great people to hang out with! I've made some of my closest "nomad" friends from my times spent on Koh Lanta. The owner, James, is huge on community and you can tell the place just has a great vibe because of him and his staff. KoHub comes at a great price for the amenities they provide - amazing wifi, great food that you can have delivered to your desk while you're working, and access to their fabulous community. It's also a great deal if you book at the Kohub Apartments (which includes meals in addition to your coworking membership and room.) I plan on continuing to come back to KoHub at least once or twice a year now - it's that good!

A family and home for remote workers
05.07.2016KoHub is possibly my favorite co-working space in the world. Let's start with the essentials... wifi is blazing fast on two dedicated connections. Free flow coffee, tea, and filtered water. Food cooked in house is some of the best Thai food on the island and will be delivered straight to your desk while you work. Beach less than 5 minutes walk away. On paper, it's an amazing space, but what makes KoHub truly incredible can't be measured, quantified, or fully articulated. It's the community. After several years on the road, I've found that it's pretty common to find workspaces with good wifi, coffee, and food. What I've missed while traveling is a sense of family and home. KoHub perfectly fills this gap, largely thanks to James (the owner and operator) and his passion for the coworking/remote work industry. I'll continue to return, and I wholeheartedly recommend KoHub to any digital nomad or remote worker looking for a world-class space.

Loved it!
05.07.2016We were in Kohub with my team for 3 weeks (max time with our visa). We really enjoyed our stay. The best part was the atmosphere! I have never made this many new connections and friends during such a short time! Highly recommended.

A wonderful community in paradise
05.07.2016KoHub has one of the best communities of any coworking space I've been to around the world. The location is great, you're a few short steps from Long Beach in Koh Lanta, which is the most popular beach on this island paradise. It's got a very relaxed vibe and the people at the space generally are working hard which helps keep you working hard too. They also play hard. Community members and the coworking space itself organize events. The best ones seem to be organic. Earlier this year some members put together KoClub, with 4 DJs who were working at the space and around 60 members showed up to a beach bar and bbq that went for ~8 hours. And when it's low season there are still fun events, although fewer attendees. For example, we had a nice bonfire with pizza and beer on the beach. The space itself meets what you need to be productive. It has fast and reliable internet (100mbps) with backup internet line (50mbps). It also has generators because the island does lose power sometimes, but KoHub doesn't (although it can get a bit warm when the power is out on the island).

Laser Focus!
05.07.2016Besides being in an incredible location that you wouldn't normally associate with productivity, KoHub helped to skyrocket my creative output. The environment James created is simply fantastic. The location, the people, the insanely fast and reliable wifi, the food, the events.. It all just works and all your needs are taken care of. We spent the last two months there and we will be back as fast as possible to this exceptional space! Go KoHub!

This is what coworking is all about!
05.07.2016I came to Koh Lanta early 2015 and connected with Kohub already the first week in January. I fell in love in this place and the community from the start, it was special.. The community and this island was somehow special and what was planned to be my home for a month was extended to 6 months and and another 8 months late 2015/2016. I call this my home now. I've seen other places and been involved in startups all over, but the energy on Koh Lanta is something you need to feel. I highly recommend this place for anyone who want to check out the nomadic lifestyle or run a business from a tropical place.

Great Community, Nice Setting, Good Food
24.05.2016I'm writing this from Kohub. It's a ramshackle place that is like an extension of a beach hut, overlooking a nice garden with a large Buddha statue. Pros: - Great community. Smaller place so everyone knows each other. - Awesome Thai food, makes lunch enjoyable, particularly communal lunches - Nice rustic setting about a 1 minute walk to the beach - Good price (1800 THB for a week) Cons: - Furniture is designed more for cocktails by the beach, rather than hours on your laptop (think Bamboo). They do provide laptop stands and mouse pads though which is a nice touch. - As of late May they have turned off the A/C in the large room to save money, so people who want aircon are crammed into a small room. However, it's considerably cooler now so I'm just working outside by a fan.

Tropical Coworking on an Incredible Island
09.04.2016I've always loved Koh Lanta, it's my favorite island in Thailand and maybe the world. It has the perfect mix of being peaceful and beautiful while having great scuba diving, dirt bike riding and things to do. Kohub was much needed as it's the only stable wifi on the island and a great place to work from. The only downsides of the space are more to do with being on an island and those limitations than the space itself. Things like getting comfortable chairs, grass-fed butter, apple products, etc are hard to get on an island in general so come prepared or be prepared to have the relaxed island mindset and just make do. If you start missing movie theaters, shopping malls, etc you can always go to Phuket/Krabi or Chiang Mai for a bit and head back down to Kohub once you start missing the island life again. The space itself is great and the owner takes suggestions to keep improving it so make sure you let him know if there's anything that would make the place better.

No Lanta without KoHub
05.04.2016As a digital based worker, I can't imagine staying at Koh Lanta very long without KoHub. The island is awesome as a tourist, but as for digital work, there are few places with good internet and AC! KoHubs coworking space makes it an awesome place to base yourself for awhile. Great Wifi speeds (and backup Internet in case the island's goes down) and 24/7 access. They also have alot of good food and drinks. One suggestion is on Monday and Tuesday the AC rooms fill up quick so get there 10am or before. However, outside you will be able to use fans and use more space. One other tip, its hard to see from the road, so drive slow and carefully.
