Coworking Space: Överkstan in Vaxholm

Överkstan is an old engine workshop on Rindö, an island in Stockholm Archipelago. There are traces from the old times, but nowadays, the workshop has been transformed into a cool workspace for coworking, conferences and meetings. From our big front windows, you overview the ferries and ships on their way to or from Stockholm, the birds catching fish, and the sea showing its different faces.

At Överkstan, you can work at our adjustable desks, sitting on a swing, using one of our small meeting rooms or at our outdoor office surrounded by plants, overlooking the sea.

The surroundings contain everything you need for a great day at work. Next to Överkstan is an outdoor gym, a tennis court and many beautiful paths in the forest or along the shore for walking and jogging. If you want to get closer to the water, there are SUP boards to rent from us or nearby places to swim.
For lunch, you can bring your food to heat in our kitchen or enjoy some great food at any restaurants nearby in the harbour: Syrran & Jag or Ostmakeriet.

We also have a selection of snacks, frozen vegetarian meals and locally roasted coffee for sale that you can enjoy while working here.
You can quickly get to Överkstan from Stockholm city by ferry (Waxholmsbolaget), car (50 min drive), bike (45 km) or bus.
