Housed inside the former premises of Beckmans College of Design, Alma is located in the heart of Stockholm with a prime location, only a few minutes walking distance from the metro (Östermalmstorg) and the main shopping streets.
Alma is a members’ club founded to provide intellectual and social nourishment to their members. Alma offers a place to work, meet, dine and socialize, and provide access to reciprocal member clubs around the world. Alma’s restaurant, helmed by chef duo Gordon Grimlund and Nathalie Nordström, is located on the second floor in an atrium. Open to members on weekdays for breakfast and lunch, all prepared with meticulous care.
Alma provides meeting rooms of various sizes, a fully equipped recording studio, a lounge area on ground level for working, informal meetings and socializing. Also on said floor is an bar open for members and non-members Wednesday - Saturday. The bar incorporates floral design and serves seasonally inspired drinks and great classics, overseen by a bar team lead by well-known profiles from the Stockholm cocktail and nightlife scene.
Being a private community, Alma is made up of members working in design, architecture, innovation, film, fashion, advertising, branding, music, art and media. Alma offers five types of membership: Open, Dedicated, Studios, Out-of-Town and Private Office. A rich social program provides their members and the creative community with talks, exhibits, entertainment and opportunity for collaboration.
