Overview of Argo Navis

Argo Navis is a project started by six young people from Bueu who decided to create an innovative youth entrepreneurship platform that encourages engagement and collaboration. Our team consists of experts in many different creative fields such as photography, graphic design, and architecture; together we will use interdisciplinary activities to promote a cultural agenda of local and sustainable development. Every month Argo Navis will use these activities to engage the local community in creative and collaborative events covering important topics such as: giving meaning to life, sketching your own future, facing challenges and being creative.

To realize this goal, we would like to find people all over the world willing to cooperate and contribute, as well as to spread and internationalize the initiative.

Our main motivation towards this exchange is to gain knowledge, skills and an entrepreneurial attitude allowing all of us to found and develop together our own personal projects, initiatives and ideas in a collaborative way that will be operating transnationally all over the world.

There are plenty of creative workshops to attend or to become a presenter at, high speed Wi-Fi to plug into and a photocopier to play with. If you need a space for an intense discussion there is a boardroom to grab a seat in. There is a collection service for your calls and postal deliveries, as well as the chance to advertise through the Argo Navis address or on their website, if you do not have one of your own.

Promoting not just a coworking space for those with a homeless laptop, they are promoting a living and working model, creating social spaces to offer people the intersection of knowledge, contacts and the experience of a differential free culture outside the usual consumption. It is supportive and non-discriminatory on the grounds of gender, class, race or sexual orientation, with inherent values of cooperation, tolerance and equality.

Argo Navis is unique as a co-working space as it's directly across the road from the beach and sea! The workspace has a light, airy feel and the wifi and office views are great. The people are very welcoming and inclusive - in fields such as graphic design, architecture and marketing. Bueu is a pretty town that allows you to soak up the feel of living as a local, whether it's treating yourself to an empanada for lunch, relaxing on the beach or enjoying the live music along the street at night. I spent a month here and thoroughly enjoyed it :)
