Coworking Space: Espai Born in Barcelona

They keep our rates low so the creativity can flow. We find really amazing collaborations in the creative industry here. It's small but cozy and you meet people from all over the place, really talented people to freelance with. If you need some inspiration I think this is a great place to work from. Shalamanka!

Best coworking in town!

The space is so breathtakingly cool. It feels like it has been designed as the ultimate cave away from the world, surrounded by books and video games. This is the place where you can be inspired to do your best work. The only option for coffee is a fancy Nespresso machine with quaint little cups. The meeting room has a punchbag and a Playstation. The donation box is an old arcade machine.. Super friendly coworkers - you are made to immediately feel at home with dope music flowing through the communal music speakers.

Used it during August, 2018, in order to cover some daily routine stuff and keep it in mind for my next visit to Barcelona.. A little bit difficult to be found because it is located in the old city extension, coming from Gothic Quarter towards El Born. It is an amazing environment with friendly people and gives inspiration. It is extremely useful for the people that live in the neighborhood and look for a closer space in order to do their jobs. Also, good to know, most members i met are estimated on technology and tourism services so it becomes more interesting in the case you are familiar or close to these sectors.

Mi experiencia fue corta pero muy agradable. Visité Espai Born por un día y quedé encantada con los anfitriones. Muy buena acogida y mucha apertura. Grandes sinergias entre los coworkers y proyectos activos en colaboración. Un espacio acogedor y bonito, todo y que no tiene luz natural, han conseguido decorarlo de forma cálida para eu no eches nada de menos. Con un wifi excelente y en uno de los barrios más atractivos de Barcelona. Todo un lujo si buscas una comunidad con la que hacer familia y compartir tu proyecto. Yo diría que es un lugar muy VIVO! Totalmente recomendable.

Awesome place to work, people are really creative helpful and an overall good time to be around. Got so many awesome projects completed and people around helped out a lot. Wifi excellent and great facilities. The area where the coworking is based is very central with great places to grab a bite and coffees. The guys which run the place are awesome, great fun and know Barcelona best. The facilities are great, it has a comfy meeting room with a nice big tv for presentations. The printer prints paper like any other printer but that's not really important. Nespresso machine for those afternoons where extra caffeine is needed.

I love visiting Espai Born and always feel more productive when I'm there. Everyone is really friendly, the space is nicely designed and it just has a very relaxed atmosphere. Communication is easy and you get quick responses. You are made to feel very welcome and there are lots of opportunities to get to know your other coworkers better. The location is fantastic in a trendy part of town - nearby to a lot of bars, shops, and places to eat. I will always come to Espai if I am working in Barcelona. I look forward to my next visit!

Great people in there, arcade games machine, lunch breaks together, very relaxed vibe and central location. I don't know why you need me to write 84 more words there is no need for this review to be longer. I am literally going to write just filler from now on. I did not want to say anything more than my first sentence. Come on, this is silly. Anyway, like I was saying, essentially, I do recommend Espai, I have been going on and off for years, whenever I need a place to work at. It's very good. Small and intimate, creative and productive. there.

The offices are like coming in to your front room. You feel at home straight away. Also the team who worked there are from all over the planet so comunication is very easy in any language. One of the owners is has 4 grandparents from 4 different countries. This discribes why in this coworwing space there are no borders or limits what you can achive. The owners also own themselves a design company called Achos.es Professionalism and fun go hand in hand and if your are stuck for any help in any of your projects you always find someone with the right skills next to you. I was really happy to find this coworking space while walking around El Born district. The toilet seat in the display instantly grabbed my attention. I went down, and was greeted by David and Ben (owners of the coworking and of digital agency 'Achos!'). They are nice outgoing people and I found a really international atmosphere. The place itself is in a basement, but the decoration and setup makes it cosy and a comfortable environment to work in. They have many different payment plans and options. My favorite thing: they have an old ARCADE MACHINE for these much needed coffee breaks. A must if you want to work in Barcelona.

People are cool, they can help you if you have any issue in your work. You can easily talk with everyone. The place is perfectly located in Barcelona.

Very diverse people come at Espai, great place to meet people in the creative field.

WiFi perfect. Never too crowded. Quite and calm 95% of the time. Great for programmers who need that.

I worked at Espai for around a year, surrounded by the nicest people who create a great atmosphere and are always happy to help out with advice or even just grab a beer. Espai is in the middle of everywhere with fantastic shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, galleries and more just around the corner.

I loved the time I spent working there. Good atmosphere, great location, nice and friendly people.

Espai is the perfect co-working space - it's got comfy chairs, great desks and a really cool floor plan which makes it an ideal place to work. On top of this, the people working in Espai are fun and friendly, and the host, Ben, is super welcoming. If you're looking for a solid place to freelance from in Barcelona this is the spot.

Cool people, best location, best city.. All chill. Cheap. Sometimes a massage lady is coming around. No joke!

Espai Born is one of my favourites coworking spaces I have ever been. Apart from being centric and clean, people are more than my mates, we are a group of friends working and having fun. So nice when you are new in the city.

Espai Born is a nice place with nice people, is easy to work, there is a great atmosphere and it's in a very good place in the city.

Beautiful co-working place, unique and original in its own way. A peaceful, harmonious and collaborative atmosphere. I am surrounded by very creative and nice people which are always available for any advice. Near coffees, restaurants and shops, its is situated in a wonderful, happening suburb ! To make it short, there is a very good atmosphere and I have a lot of pleasure to work here. :)
