Coworking Space: Tropi Coworking in Almunecar

I spent three months in La Herradura and had Tropi Co-Working as my main work space. It is a good place that allows you to focus and get online to do serious work. At the same time there is a community there that you can connect to, to get some social contact (and maybe for some even work-related networking). A lot of trust, respect for others and flexibility in this place!

I loved this co-working space. I was only in town for a day and they made me feel so welcome. When I first arrived I was a little confused as there wasn't a reception so I wasn't quite sure what to do! However, I soon found a way to contact Yonathan via Whatsapp and he responded really quickly and got me settled in. There is a set of desks for longer term members and a shared desk for shorter term visitors. The office is smallish but feels light and bright with big windows and plants around the place. I had quite a few meetings and unfortunately the Skype room was booked up, but I found space on the lovely bright and warm terrace which was perfect for working on. The kitchen was well stocked and there was fruit and snacks. Everyone was really friendly and it had a lovely atmosphere with quite a few people around the office. Would definitely recommend! The best co-working space I visited in my time in Spain.

Working in Tropi is an opportunity to meet like minded people, to exchange ideas and to participate in great meetups. In addition to a comfortable office space, you will find here a Skype room from which you can make private online meetings and calls. WiFi is super stable and fast. + bonus: free coffee and snacks :-)

A great space tucked away from the main roads and only 5 minutes to the beach. Everyone was very welcoming, the wifi was fast and always worked, the desks were comfortable (you should check out the amazing hand-made table in the shared space). I will definitely be coming back here when I'm next in La Herradura.

Tropi rocks. Amazing calm environment and nothing is ever too much trouble. The owner regular does lunch and breakfast too..what a bonus! They have a Skype room for online meetings too which works so well when you have meetings. Would highly recommend!

I love working at Tropi. It's a beautiful serene and calming environment which has a made a tremendous impact on my productivity. I have worked at other coworking spaces in this past - and this is hands down the best. The environment is just perfect - the chairs and desk, the design of the office, all contribute to a wonderful atmosphere where you can focus un-interrupted. There is also an outside space to sit, overlooking a garden of avocado trees, with lush verdant hills in the distance. It's very inspiring. The team who run Tropi are also fabulous - they are very attentive, help you with whatever you need and provide amazing additional activities like an entrepreneurs group & meditation sessions, that you can join if you so wish. All of these things really help!

At the heart of any good co-working space is the need for consistent, fast wi-fi. Tropi delivers this in spades, with an insanely fast upload and download speed, probably the fastest I have ever encountered, anywhere. Add to this a set of individuals dedicated to making work an enjoyable and supportive experience for all, as well as a strong community ethos, and I doubt the experience could be bettered. Perhaps adding another Skype room would lift it up another notch, but all told, it's excellent.

I enjoy working at tropi every day! The people, the relaxed atmosphere, the fast internet , 50m from the beach... If you want to work in a productive way and stay in the wonderful coastal village of La Herradura then definitely go to tropi!

It's a surprising space in a beautiful beach town. The design of the space is exquisite and the chairs are super confortable. They have plants, trees and lots of natural light so it's very pleasant to work on their desks. I personally love working in their terraces with mountain views as well. They do brunch and other activities for the members + 600mb internet (not bad!). I spend a great time there, thank you Yonathan!

The owners and the members are all really super friendly, the WiFi is fast, the beach is less than 100 metres walk and the weather here is great even over European winters. They also do great free extras such as a free communal breakfast on a Monday morning to start your week in the perfect way alongside meditation classes that is also free for members.

Created with love and care, you feel right at home and have everything you need to get your work done while also being able to meet people and make contacts from day 1. Right in the center of LH, 30 seconds walk from the beach, what more can you ask for?

Very nice looking and quiet only 50 Meter from the beach! Great out door area to relax in the sun, and really useful skyperoom!

I liked the space and the design specially! The seats are proper office chairs and the table is beautiful and comfortable. Wifi is 600mb, so no problem. Coffee and tea are organic and they also serve natural snacks, that was appreciated! The location is only 20 from the beach and they have special deals with local biz to do kayaking, eating out, etc... The downside is that it feels a bit too small and they only have flex desks for now. The guy who runs it told me that from September they will expand to a bigger space to host more coworkers and fixed desks. A promising new coworking!
