It is convenient to get to. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a sense of community among the people based there. The space exudes creativity. There are different plans for different people, you can host your events there. The cafe has good food and is an awesome hangout spot.

It's got the best Environment

It's the melting pot of innovation and collaboration. On any given day you could be sitting next to a top innovator in the world, sharing a coffee with a CEO of a listed company or mentoring a young up and coming startup founder. The cafe downstairs enables informal networking to take place with the greatest ease because it is so welcoming for guests. The staff is super friendly, amazing and helpful. Did i mention they have great coffee (and heart)? ...well, now you know ;-)

Being at Workshop17 in Sandton is an experience. As THUD, we were some of the very first tenants to move in and we've been through our ups and downs and the W17 crew has believed in us unreservedly. Seeing our corporate client base build trust quicker with us and realizing that a big part of it had to do with our business being at the right location has proven to us that coworking matters now more than ever cause it fosters community, collaboration and sharing. Our business has been steadily growing at 2x and in Q 1 & 2 of 2019 it's exploded at 6x growth rate and we know that, had W17 Sandton not stood behind us in our trying times, we wouldn't have seen this growth curve rise so beautifully. OPEN is a great environment to work from with the coolest team that's always willing to assist with a big smile. Very well-maintained facility and people who know how to share spaces with other people. The cafe on the ground floor is an amazing place to get the best coffee and something to eat, also a lovely informal place to have meetings with clients. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a shared space to work from in the heart of Sandton, right across the Gautrain station & Sandton City... I could go on but i should probably stop! :-)

OPEN Sandton a beautiful collaborative coworking space, has state of the art eventing and meeting space as well as 5 star Cafe. OPEN Sandton offers: 3 x 6 seater meeting rooms, 2 x 16 seater boardrooms, 2 x 16 - 90 seater Seminar Rooms, 1 x 120- 130 seater Auditorium & 1 x 100 seater Cafe. The Eventing Team is extremely hands on and will be onsite to ensure that your event is successful. This spaces offers all the amenities that you will need and will allow you to strive in your business or have a successful event or meeting.

Open Sandton is a great space for start-ups. I would recommend it to any new company looking to be at a great location, with helpful staff. What's even more great is the fact that, when we are in Cape Town, we have access to the space there too. What influenced my decision to join initially was how helpful and supportive the staff was. We continue to have a great pleasure of working with Samantha and Thandi, we believe they bring a lot of value to the organisation. Location was the biggest selling point for our organisation choosing this spot. n

OPEN Sandton is the place where I go to for work. The atmosphere is amazing, good amenities like high-speed internet, meeting rooms and a restaurant downstairs. But most important the community is great, you meet different people every day; just to get to know them, for business, to share projects with or to start new ideas. This makes this coworking space so awesome, you never feel alone, you have a whole working family around you to let you grow and not only in Sandton; they have more locations like Maboneng and Workshop 17 in Cape Town and planning to open a lot more.

I first visited OPEN Sandton as part of a HeavyChef event and came back the next day to find out more. I had previously visited the Maboneng co-working space and thought that there could be anything better in Johannesburg. They are both amazing but I decided to take up space in Sandton thanks to it's proximity to the Gautrain Station across the road. I love the space, all of the amenities and the people here. It's amazing and awesome for a StartUp like me and I've been recommending it to everyone! I suggest that you come visit and try this space out for yourself...

As you walk into The Open in Sandton, immediately your mood is uplifted to one of enthusiasm, positivity and quite frankly I always have a successful day working in the environment. The integration between the space team and the restaurant works well and the professionalism combined with the future of work experience located in the heart of Africa’s financial capital fits the bill when it comes to a workspace that has the right ingredients and is flexible enough to accommodate anything from a quick coffee to review emails right through to a sophisticated conference, workshop or launch event.
