I work at least three days a week from The Corner Office in Gillitts, and it has made a huge difference to my business, my productivity and my home/life balance. The space itself is very serene, the organisation is efficient. The WiFi is very fast and reliable and the layout of the office allows for privacy even in the common spaces. The boardroom and events space allow for larger presentations when I need to do them and the the highly professional atmosphere makes it the perfect place for client meetings. The location in Gillitts makes the office very central to Kloof and Hillcrest. At least twice a month, all the regular office workers have a social evening and the convivial interaction with other professionals is always a highlight of the week.

The Corner Office is a real gem in the Upper Highway community of Durban. Jill (the owner) and her daughter Caroline make a great, enthusiastic team and are constantly brain-storming new ways to improve the quality of the space and service that they offer their customers. Located at the lovely Gillitts Shopping Center, you won't have a problem finding lunch time meals, with take-away options including Thai, Chinese, Indian, Pizza (at the pub) and not to mention the scrumptious western options at Mr. Browns located at the nearby Caltex. The central coffee & tea station is a popular place to socialize with new people and Jill is always sure that there is a fresh pot of coffee brewing. The internet speed is great, just ask the software company who've been there since the start, any interruptions are quickly sorted, and Gill has made sure that the internet is not disrupted by power outages. Facilities include a large conference center for big events with access to a wireless projector as well as a kitted out boardroom for smaller meetings, the boardroom also has it's own TV and wireless connection system. With all this to offer, it is no wonder the Corner Office is quickly becoming a hot-spot for local businesses and freelancers in Durban.

A great place to do business - clean, bright, professional and with a number of alternate setups/working options to suit your changing needs. Jill and Caro are stunning hosts and will take great care of you! There are plenty restaurants in the same complex so you'll never go hungry or thirsty - and the in-house coffee machines and facilities are perfect too. Great wifi connectivity, plenty of parking always available and Hillcrest and Kloof are reallly close by if you have other needs not met in the complex. The Corner Office is a great venue for repeating events and are now hosting networking functions too.

We have been fortunate enough to attend a couple of functions at The Corner Office. Our first impression was Wow! at the gorgeous decor - the offices have been tastefully decorated. There are several options for meeting rooms, from a small office, to a large, extremely well-appointed conference room. Alternatively, you are invited to sit in the open-plan area, with the buzz of busy professionals around you. The catering is superb, as is the fibre/technology supplied. The venue is perfect for those who work from home, to those who are planning a large function. Congratulations to The Corner Office on creating a fabulous business environment!

I attended our end of year function which was held at The Corner Office and was immediately impressed by the colours used. Their colours are all greens and earthy textures which immediately relaxes one. Although they don't have a large kitchen, a really great breakfast was served and the room we had the function in was perfectly big enough for the forty people. We were able to make a fair amount of noise without affecting the other members of The Corner Office (who were very friendly). When chatting to the one member before leaving he said how separating his "home" business from home and having an office away from the home had made a huge difference to his life. He comes in each day and gets a few productive hours in before going home to be a dad. Two friends of mine are now part timers at The Corner Office and rave about the benefits, two of which are the excellent coffee :) and the food on order-all you have to do is ask and its arranged. Well done The Corner Office for your friendly and efficient service at all times.
