Coworking Space: Workshop17 Watershed in Cape Town

It has hot desking and office spaces. It has boardrooms for conferencing and an event space available. The team at Workshop17 is the biggest benefit. They are helpful and create a sense of community.

It has the best views you can get in Cape Town, the community is amazing, super interactive, lots of networking, great food/ drink selection, plus awesome location right next to the Street Food market and VA Waterfront. Lots of events are happening and it's one of my most favorite spaces. Always going back.

Because it's just fresh and make you feel inspired to be GREAT!

The environment is inviting & friendly. Good WiFi connection & helpful staff.

Networking

This co working space has open nice open feel to it as well as a vibrant energy about it, which is also contributed by the fact its part of public access cafe and sits on top a craft market. Should you need to escape all of the hustle and bustle you can just slip into the private co working sections of the space

Beautifully designed, energetic space with helpful and supportive on the ground staff. Most user-friendly open plan hot desk space I have come across, and really awesome members always keen to share ideas over a cup of coffee. There tech focused meeting and event spaces make conference calls and presentations seamless. The space is located in the heart of Cape Town's Waterfront and walking distance from several restaurants and shops. There is even access to massage therapist downstairs when the day gets a little overwhelming and you need a back rub. By far Workshop17 is my favourite space to get work done

Workshop17 is my most favourite co-working space in Cape Town. The team are exceptional, the coffee is kick-ass (Thank you Thabiso!) and the space has a perfect balance of enough other people to not feel alone, but not so noisy that I can't get work done. Technically speaking: 1. Wifi is fast and available. 2. Printer/ scanner thingy is available and when I can't make it work the very patient Daniel is here to help me 3. Food from the cafe is great - along with happy and welcoming service. People speaking: I have great co-workers and there is a friendly vibe which I appreciate.

The space is amazing and filled with awesome people - warm and welcoming. The view is breath taking and warm sunlight makes it so much more pleasant and easier to get things done. Supportive staff and excellent internet speeds! Membership and day passes are very reasonably priced and very flexible. I purchased the 10 day package and will be making use of it whenever I am in Cape Town. The vibe is great and I will definitely head back for a few more days, even if out in the cafe to grab a coffee made by the friendliest barista or the lovely chicken and mayo sandwich :)

Our environment inspires great thinking. Large bay windows face the majestic Table Mountain. Next to us ships are repaired for the open seas and behind them lay the yachts of the rich and famous. The building has a great open energy and we are surrounded by organic and artisanal food vendors. A continuous influx of foreigners make for exciting networking and meaningful connections.

W17 is perfectly situated for anyone who loves Cape Town or just moved in to it (and I am both). The location is close to many of the best restaurants the city has to offer and a beautiful walk near the Cape Wheel. As for the workshop itself, it provides a great balance between co-working spaces that allow you to meet new people and interact with your colleagues while at the same time allowing you to buckle down somewhere on your own and work quietly. The W17 coffee provides delicious food and great coffee at affordable prices while security patrolling the area make you feel a bit more at ease when it comes to theft and whatnot (although one should always be cautious). A variety of kiosks and shops around the workshop add another flavor to the workshop so that even if you're just taking a quick walk to get away from the computer for a bit, you can look at some great South African curios, handmade art, and other goodies. Clean bathrooms (although I wish the water was warmer in the winter!) and great wifi.

Well designed open space. When you look out of the window you have awesome motivation when looking at all the Yachts in the shipyard.

I have been their since inception. The views are out of this world (we look directly of the harbour at Table Mt one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world). The space is mostly made up of glass so the natural lighting makes working at WS17 an absolute pleasure. The meeting rooms and facilitation spaces are perfect for what I do. Clients from all over South Africa come to the space to be inspired and come up with new innovations. Great coffee, excellent food and lots of interesting start-up and established businesses to network with. Literally you can't find anything better than this around the world

A beautiful, uplifting, world class space, exceptionally well set up and run with a great vibe and good people.

Workshop 17 is one of the best Co-working spaces, hands down. It provide great facilities in a well managed area.

The ecosystem, facilities and support at W17 are amazing.

It's got the essentials (great high speed internet, comfortable spaces, lots of meeting rooms) plus 250 of Cape Town's top entrepreneurs and change makers collaborating in an award winning space overlooking table mountain.

W17 brings together a fascinating collection of tech entrepreneurs, major corporates, students and the creative sectors into a co-working and innovation space. The energy is palpable - people are enthused by the environment and challenged to think differently in this innovative space.

An excellent co-working space which is easily accessible by private or public transport. The office facilities are excellent (meeting rooms, internet connectivity etc.) as are the other amenities (coffee shop etc.). Situated at the V&A waterfront, you can't beat the location for trendiness and accessibility for both locals and internationals.

By far the best part about Workshop 17 is the care that Westleigh, the manager, puts into accommodating all of the people there. He is quick to help with any issues, and will also gently let you know if you or your team is hurting the group dynamic. Through his leadership, both the space and the cafe maintain a productive and vibrant energy that push all the employees to be their best.

Workshop 17 is light, welcoming, well equipped, clean and just a great atmosphere and space to work in.

We've been in the w17 space just over six months what started with just three people and now 7, the W17 team has been able to quickly adapt to our growing needs. With an amazing support team and dedicated service and standards that are excellent, there's no other place we call home.

I really enjoy working in this space but the wifi issues are posing to be a problem; and better noise control needs to be implemented :) Other than that, the people are very friendly and the staff members are helpful.

Workshop17 is a great space for anyone and everyone looking to meet with like minded people with the desire to innovate, collaborate and create. The great location and amazing views are paired with a beautifully designed space and a comforting sense of community. The boardroom facilities, 24/7 access, internet connection and cafe add to the offering of the space making it convenient and easily accessible. If you have to go to work everyday, this isn't a bad place to have to do it from.

I enjoy the variety of spaces to work in from meeting rooms to sofas to hot desks. The people are always friendly and willing to help and the eco-system that I am able to engage with when I am there help my business move forward.
