Overview of Humming Tree

Humming Tree is a co-working space and community center focused on creativity and well being. It is located in the heart of the city, in Hamra District, walking distance from a pedestrian friendly walkway with many restaurants and shops as well as the beautiful Red Sea.

Our space is inside a small commercial compound with lots of greenery and a small outdoor space where you can enjoy some fresh air. Inside, our space gets a lot of sunlight and is filled with inspiration; from murals on walls, positive messages filling every corner and plants. We have a variety of seating options to suit the kind of work you're doing.

Our community attracts creatives of all kinds, entrepreneurs, writers, filmmakers, yogis, environmentalists and more. We focus on building a supportive community as much as we provide a space that fulfils your work needs.

A lot more than a regular co-working space

I joined humming tree as a fresh high-school graduate with absolutely no idea of what I want to study, and a small project I thought would never come to life outside school. I gained a lot of insight and encouragement from the humming tree family and specially Mariam. The project I came with grew bigger, I discovered new passion and skills that I had no idea I had in me. The welcoming environment allows networking and connections that lead to great, creative ideas and collaborations. What makes humming tree stand out among other co-working spaces is that it makes you feel home. It is truly a gem in Jeddah.

I moved back to Jeddah in 2016 and I'm thankful to my stars that I found a place like Humming Tree. I run a social initiative in Jeddah and it wasn't only the perfect place to host my events and workshops but, was a beautiful place to work at. I looked forward to working because the environment was so warm and positive. Whether it's the perfect amount of lighting at the space, the warm and cozy bohemian decor or the lovely people around you...especially Mariam! She will help and guide you to do wonders. There's so much I've learned from her and she's guided me in doing so much more with what once was my baby initiative. Additionally, they host various activities and events for members such as member breakfasts, historic city tours, game nights, and a lot more. A lot of which really helps your independent projects. My personal favourite are the monthly Storytelling Nights, Hakeeny! Eventually, Humming Tree really becomes your home. A place you seek for comfort, warmth and love :) Currently being away from Jeddah for a while, it is one of the places I miss most and can't wait to go back!

Humming tree is unique in every way possible When it comes down to co-working or community spaces in Jeddah. The founder is very attentive to details and works closely with members to ensure they feel welcome and personally helped me get the most out of my experience there. The events are as varied and special as the attendees themselves and it is the only space I know of in the Kingdom where people can express themselves freely. The best thing by far about Humming Tree is that it allows me the freedom to explore doing my own workshops or get togethers, while giving advice and support on how to properly get everything in order.
