I joined Society of Work as a writer seeking community in a freelance world. I knew that working in an open workspace could present productivity problems, but at SOW, they have mastered a culture of inclusion & respect for one another's work and time. I found community while remaining productive -- a delicate balance to achieve, but they've done it.
