"Excellent coworking space and community hub"

    May 2019

After working at the Bridge Street Collective four years ago, I have recently returned, and it is better than ever! It's a lively community spot, with a busy cafe at the front and outdoors. The interior is quiet and focused, though, providing a good balance for productivity. The Collective's members have always been friendly and helpful, and this place has helped me find many new and valuable opportunities.

    "The perfect place to work"

      August 2018

I have been working out of the Bridge Street Collective part time for 8 months so far - and LOVE it. I found working from home every day quite isolating so was looking for a productive space to work where I would be surrounded by like-minded people. The Collective is everything I was looking for and more. Christine is a wonderful manager, always super helpful and friendly. 10am coffee at the Collective is my favourite time of the day and a great time to catch up and have a good chat. It really is the perfect place to work, I wouldn't want to work anywhere else!

      0 Thank Christie

      "Excellent Space"

        July 2018

The space and people at Bridge Street Collective are fantastic. There is a great atmosphere and facilities, and you are surrounded by friendly, creative and inspiring people. You can choose to engage with other co-workers as much or as little as you want. People are friendly and interested, but also respectful. Having The Kitchen out the front works really well. With that coupled with the meeting room and informal spaces, you have a variety of options so that you can meet others in an appropriate setting. Scaling staff or days up or down is seamless and easy and Christine is both accommodating and encouraging.

        0 Thank Jeremy

        "Funky, light, and super friendly"

          July 2018

I didn't know how I would go, moving from a busy corporate environment in Auckland to remote-working from Nelson, but it's been awesome, thanks to Christine and the Bridge Street Collective. I love the natural light, space, plants, fast internet, warmth, and super friendly people who made me feel welcome from day 1. The daily mid-morning coffee is a great way to get to know new people and after-work pizza and beers on a Friday are perfect for winding down the week. If you're looking for a productive work environment, filled with awesome people doing awesome things, then this is the place for you.

          0 Thank Rebecca

          "Great space, people, and community!"

            February 2018

While traveling through New Zealand we needed to find a coworking spot with good wifi and space to really focus on getting stuff done. The Bridge Street Collective met our needs. Getting space was easy and their community welcomed us with open arms. I highly recommend stopping by if in Nelson and looking for a place to work. The wifi was top notch and each morning they kick the day off with a tea party through which members get a chance to meet and chat. It was a great way to learn not only about the members but opportunities for collaborations with the greater Nelson business community.

            2 Thank Brig

            "Everything you need and more"

              October 2017

Enjoyed working here full-time for 6 months. Light and airy with large desks and comfortable chairs. Fast internet (wired and WiFi). Well stocked kitchenette with teas and coffee and an adjoining cafe if in need of a treat. Great location at approx. 100m from high street so close but not in the hustle and bustle and a short walk from the riverside path and city gardens. Really friendly, welcoming people with a variety of backgrounds, vocations and interests. Genuine 24/7 access so can make the most of the sunny Nelson days. Everything is slickly managed by Christine, who helps you get set up and settled in quickly so you can enjoy the benefits of the Collective from day one.

              2 Thank Andrew

              "Productivity overload"

                July 2017

When i started at the collective i was working from home with no real focus or drive to get the things that needed to be done finished. Since moving into the collective everything has changed in my business from having a space where i can go to work to the social aspect of morning tea/coffee. I would highly recommend a desk at the collective to any business struggling or not. Plus the wifi is super duper fast #timeismoney

                3 Thank Grayson

                "Best office in town"

                  July 2017

We are pretty sure we have the best office in town. Right above one of the best cafe's and in a great part of town. There is an extremely creative bunch of people working at the Bridge Street Collective and we always have the most entertaining conversations at morning tea. We have talked about moving to other office's but very quickly squash that idea because we have it way too good here.Christine who takes care of us all is always up for a laugh and runs a fantastic operation. We are very lucky to have her.

                  3 Thank Chris

"It's worked wonders for my business connectivity"

                    July 2017

This place has worked wonders for my business connectivity. After just three months working here, I’ve got four new clients, collaborated on a handful of awesome projects and made connections with so many other promising people. I’d like to say it was all down to my charm. But in truth, Christine (The Collective’s head honcho) has been the driving force behind it, whether that’s by introducing me to people looking for my services, or dropping my name to local business owners. Thanks C!

I love coming into The Collective to work. There are so many inspiring people who work and enjoy this space. Christine, The Collective's studio manager is awesome, too—she has made The Collective feel like a home away from home.

As a recent arrival from Christchurch, Bridge St enables me to still work remotely with our team there and with clients, while enjoying the benefits of a Nelson lifestyle.

Right in the heart or Nelson, The Collective is warm, bright, inviting. There is a certain vibe and excitement going around with creative people that is infectious. I didnt think there would be any difference to working at home but the experience has been inspiring. Love working with this community and building creative partnerships.

This place holds so much value in Nelson. The networking that I was able to do has opened so many doors. This is unlike any place in Nelson. Everything is taken care of, friendly people and such a great working atmosphere.

                                    July 2016

I use Bridge Street whenever I'm in Nelson, it's in a really convenient location and has all the amenities I need. The cafe on-site is a great bonus as you never need to walk more than a few metres to get your morning coffee :) The internet connection is high speed and easy to access, and the space has meeting rooms that can be booked for strategy sessions or private meetings. One of the best things about Bridge Street is its community - young, vibrant startup-type people who are always open to have ideas bounced off them. Highly recommend.

                                      July 2016

Having now had the opportunity to work from other coworking spaces in New York City, I have the perspective to realise what we have created in Nelson is extremely special. A coworking space is not just a nice building with cool furniture; a coworking space is a community of people.

                                        July 2016

As co-founder of iwantmyname it is important for me to have a base where I can work from that has a good community, a cafe and a quiet space so I can meet people and get stuff done in one space. Bridge Street is exactly that, with a growing number of digital nomads and remote workers enjoying Nelson for it's obvious features it is important to have a good space we can get together, work, meet and make new connections. Without it Nelson would be a lovely spot but with Bridge Street it became an option for us to move from Wellington to the Nelson region permanently work from here a few days a week and enjoy the region the rest of the time.
