Coworking Space: CoWorkOhrid in Ohrid

The space is very cosy, warm and the staff will help you with whatever you need. They even go for lunch together everyday so you'll make nice friendships here.

(Dec 2022) Our experience in North Macedonia was that the wifi speed is fast. Sadly the wifi in our accommodations was not. We work on our computers too much to wait out the 10 days until our next stop. 

A quick search led us to CoWorkOhrid. CoWorkOhrid is a professional, secure and well-equipped space. It is a seemingly popular place. But with the individual desks, private offices and conference room it never felt crowded and remained comfortable and quiet. Meeting and speaking with the owner, Bozhidar, was a pleasure. I highly recommend CoWorkOhrid to anyone looking for a productive work environment. The space is beautifully designed, well-equipped, and overall it is an inspiring place to work.

I recently had the pleasure of working at Cowork Ohrid, it was an excellent experience. The location is simply perfect, situated near the city centre, making it very easy to get to and from, with parking on premises (was really important for me). The work environment itself was also superb. It was well-lit, spacious, and had a calming vibe. It's the perfect place to get your work done in peace and quiet. The furniture was comfortable and ergonomically designed, which made working for extended periods a breeze. One of the perks of this coworking space is that it offers free amenities such as different coffee types and a chillout space. The internet connection was also very reliable and fast. Overall, I had a great experience at this coworking space. I would highly recommend it.

I've been working out of co-working spaces on and off for 4 years. First in China, then Hawaii, then different countries in Southern Europe and Central Asia. CoWork Ohrid is hands down the best space I've experienced, and that's in no small part because the owner has gotten all the things one could want from a coworking space VERY right. Here's a quick list of what I mean: 1. Pleasant Atmosphere. The owner has gone out of his way to make the space pleasant: big, comfortable tables at a range of heights, windows that overlook the city and give a view to the surrounding mountains, a relaxation area with couches and a giant TV that by default always shows stunning video of nature, and a large, private meeting room that is easy to access while simultaneously ideally sound-proofed. This space is great if you need to come in, sit, and get to work, while also allowing for a degree of relaxation. 2. Built-In Community We were surprised to find that A LOT of locals come to this space. As a result, you can easily connect, make friends, and learn about what the city as a whole has to offer. This is a testament to the owner's centrality within the Ohrid community, and help make the space an ideal introduction to Ohrid, particularly for those who are a bit more shy. 3. Lots of Drink Options (Beyond Coffee) The space always has a plethora of drink options. There are 3-4 coffee machines available at any time, each with their own coffee pods that are restocked daily, a range of drinks (beer, juice, some liquors, and a few other drinks I can't recall) and a water cooler that has never empty :). 4. Access Management Shockingly, a lot of co-working spaces I've seen struggle to manage the privacy factor. What I mean is, they're entrance lets people right into the space, and any one who wants can come in or out, plus anyone who happens to be smoking outside, or making loud noises, makes themselves apparent. Cowork Ohrid manages these challenges by having thumb print/code locks on every door after the main entrance, which itself is separated from the office spaces by a long hallway. This matters a lot, especially if you work early or late hours and want an extra layer of privacy. 5. Great Location In a city with 1000s of tourists coming through at peak times of the year, Ohrid can feel very crowded. Fortunately, I can not imagine CoWork Ohrid or the surrounding area ever feeling crowded, as the owner has chosen a location that is far enough from the city center to avoid the huge crowds, yet close enough to make it easy to get downtown and to the lake. In addition, there are 4 grocery stores within 2 minutes walk of this space. If you need to leave for food, you'll be able to and get back without issue. There is more to be said, but I believe this should be enough to inspire you to come here and work. We chose this place on a hunch because we were looking for somewhere 24/7 that would let us focus on work and be pleasant at a time when life was very complicated for us. I am happy to say our choice was exactly right, and I think you'd find it to be a good choice for yourselves too.

I had a great experience working in Cowork Ohrid for 3 months. It is a comfortable place with every facility. And the owner of the place is super friendly and helped us whenever we had questions about even bout city.

The office and community is fantastic. The owner is extremely helpful and often invited me for social events! I 100% recommend!
