Coworking Space: The Olive Grove in Beirut

I work in a small, 6-person company. We have rented an office space in The Olive Grove, and I have to say it is an absolutely rewarding experience! The rent is very affordable, and it is in the middle of Hamra (some of us are Masters students in AUB so this could not have been more convenient!). The space is quiet, well-equipped, comfortable, and spacious. And the coordinators, Anna and Angela, are very friendly (Angela is also a great baker so you might enjoy the occasional cookies!) Overall, I absolutely recommend TOG for small companies looking for an affordable, productive environment.

The Olive Grove is a wonderful place to work! The space is well lit, creatively decorated and spacious. In addition to the super fast internet, the friendly people and the best part, a kitchen area with free coffee refills! It is very easy to be relaxed and focused there, knowing that the team that runs the space is very professional and responsive. It is also in a great location, where everything is easily accessible to you. I have attended several events and workshops at the Olive Grove, all very insightful, creative and engaging. If you're looking for a comfortable, environmentally friendly, quiet space to be productive, The Olive Grove is a great option!

This is a great space with a great team leading it. They have events ranging from social to professional development and do a wonderful job making the space feel warm and inviting. The WIFI is excellent along with the central location in Beirut. Making it easy for those in town for conferences or residents looking for a full time place to work. It was a very productive space to work in as everyone is focused and friendly. Allowing for quality work time that is hard to find. Really great all around experience for first timers or people looking to stay.

Amazing place. A refuge for all entrepreneurs. They're fully equipped, and the nicest staff I have ever met. Absolutely love the interior of the place & the services it's offering. Situated in the heart of Beirut, this coworking space based in a well preserved old Beiruti house offers a calm environment for people to work and all the facilities needed including fast open internet, coffee (although it's instant) and the regular facilities. I've worked at The Olive Grove a few times when I was visiting from Dubai and had projects to get done. The space is in a great location, and the environment is bright and welcoming. The internet is fast in comparison to the cafes around Beirut and also the coffee is really great. While I was there, I also noticed that they host a lot of events covering different interesting topics like robotics, illustration and art as well as talks and hackathons. This will definitely be my working spot every time I come back and I recommend it to everyone!

I live in London but visited Beirut in July 2017 and needed a venue to host the first ever WooCommerce meetup for Lebanon. The Olive Grove was an excellent venue, Anna was really helpful prepping snacks and getting a projector set up for us. We had a super evening and I loved the space. It's modern, conveniently located, and has everything you need for a professional event - or relaxing day of coworking! I work remotely and have been to a lot of spots worldwide - including WeWork and the like - and The Olive Grove is right up their with the best. When I am next in Beirut, I will be back and look forward to it :)

Attended quite a few events and have been part of a startup incubating there.. Great vibes and great people all around. The co-working space is ideal for entrepreneurs and artists. Even the one-off project is best carried out there than any other place I can imagine. The specialized workshops, especially the ones on programming and pitching, are pure gold. The place is gorgeous and is nestled in the heart of Hamra facing bliss street; so the student ambience is present and energizing. The home made goodies and coffee are also a delight and just make a typical day at work turn into a memory you'd want to keep.

The Olive Grove is my favorite spot to work at when I’m in Beirut. There’s such a great atmosphere and I always feel so much more productive than working from home on my own. It is very spacious so you can either find a quiet spot to work, or sit among people for a more lively workig environment. I find this flexibility perfect, especially for a start up. I also really enjoy their events, which range from entrepreneurship events, all kinds of interesting workshops, and arts and crafts nights - which are definitely my favorite! Another invaluable feature The Olive Grove offers is the space itself. Because of its great location, amenities, and ability to host lots of people, TOG was our go to location when my startup held an event for Beirut Design Week. Working with their team really makes you feel part of the community, and I can’t wait to visit Lebanon and be part of it again!

Corks & Canvas at the Olive Grove is a really special event: the instructors are always there to help and the paintings are simple to reproduce... but there is always room for the painter's creativity, especially after a few glasses of free wine! :) When it comes to working there during the day, the place is super calm, and the wifi is super fast. If you feel a little demotivated you can always treat yourself to a fresh cup of coffee or freshly made homemade cookies! Or you can just get inspired by looking at other groups in their private working areas.

This is one of the most welcoming and friendly places in the country. It has all the necessary amenities and more. There is always a snack in the fridge for people who want something to munch on. The place is very professional while at the same time being open and friendly to everyone. The location is prime. In the center of hamra, very close to the American University of Beirut. It's an ideal place to start a business and meet new people who are also in the start-up business. If anyone has any hesitation towards this place, rest assured, you will love it when you join.

Best place to work in Beirut. Good WiFi and staff are super cool. The space is set up really nicely and very open. You feel welcome the moment you walk in, and there is always a space to work if you need. The office spaces they have are perfect for working in private projects or when you need time alone. They also have coffee and popcorn. The last thing we want to highlight is that they host super cool events. Like workshops, painting and drinking wine, entrepreneur classes and I’m sure more. Honestly I can’t wait to go back and work there again.

I rented an office space at the Olive Grove with my partners for 3 days. We were very happy and satisfied! The place has has a chilled-out, down-to-earth vibe, without it affecting / compromising your productivity; something that's rare to find in other spaces in the city (you either have the corporate-like, old-school work-spaces, or the super hip and crowded ones where you can barely do any work). I was really relaxed there, and I ended up working a lot! Managed to finish the project I'm working on and then some! The place itself is architecturally really nice (super cool tiles), the community is young and vibrant, and you're a 5 min walk from basically every restaurant/cafe in Hamra. Most importantly, the hosts (Anna and Angela) are super sweet and welcoming :) I recommend it wholeheartedly, and I'm sure I'll be coming back myself :)

I do not have an office to work from when I am in Beirut, and have worked from the Olive Grove a few times. The overall environment really allows for a productive co-working space where you can either share and chat to others in a common space or have your more private space for skype calls ect. I also had the chance to attend a few events and they were super fun! I would highly reccomend TOG for anyone looking for a nice space to just get work done or mingle with others to share ideas. Ps. Coffee is delicious and if you are lucky they usually have very tasty fresh baked goods!!

The space is a calm haven in one of the busiest streets in Beirut. Coffee is the best in town and served for free. If you’re lucky, you might get some home made cookies. Internet is the fastest in Lebanon, and that’s worth mentioning cause internet has always been an issue here. If you’re there all day, you can order food or have lunch in one the many restaurants around the area. I highly recommend The Olive Grove to all of those looking for a friendly, calm, and happy coworking space. Thank you Angela and Anna for everything and i look forward to my next visit.

All the amenities you would expect are available and top notch. There are meeting rooms, small offices, work booths and a big long table to work on. The filtered coffee is really tasty - a nice change from the typical machine coffee that many other places offer. Also, I highly recommend that people check out the events that are hosted in the space, which range from art nights with a glass of vino ("Corks and Canvas") to entrepreneurship workshops with experts from different industries. The Olive Grove is a great place to get work done and to network with like minded people. Highly recommend.

SUCH a great place to work from whenever I’m in Beirut! I use a lot of data hungry tools and this place is perfectly reliable :) The space is really beautifully designed and located in one of my favorite cities in Lebanon. Came here for an event last week. It was really informative and a great experience. The space is really nice and spacious but not so huge that you feel like you're in a crowd. I myself am considering setting up the Beirut branch of my business here as the location is great and having enquired about the prices it seems they are quite reasonable. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the wifi is great for Lebanon. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

We worked at The Olive Grove the entire time we were in Beirut (1-2 Months). They have good internet, the staff are super cool, and the other people working at The Olive Grove were fun, quality people (great for connections). They also host a ton of fun social events at TOG like painting and drinking wine. And they host workshops where you can learn different skills. They are super close to AUB as well which is a huge plus if you are attending AUB or like meeting students. Over all we really enjoyed working at TOG and would definitely get a membership when we go back.

The Olive Grove is the perfect spot to meet like minded young business leaders. It’s mixer. Clean. Fastest internet I’ve seen in Beirut. The private offices actually offer privacy which is good. And the open space is perfect. Open, but not too much. Some booths as well. And a good sized conference room that I believe you get free access to if you’re a member. Otherwise you can rent it for a small fee. I know hat some groups have rented out the whole place for their one evening or one day events. All in all, it’s in a perfect location and the space is amazing!

The olive grove is a smart idea to help start ups get on their feet its a really nice environment for work and the staff are very noce and helpful in addition they have pretty sweet events where i can meet new people and help your business. On the other hand it got everything u need from comfortable offices to big conference room and a comon space. Its quiet as well so u can be pretty productive unlike other café where chatter might distract you. I definitely require olive grove and should check out their events pretty cool art production

I go work at TOG whenever I'm working remotely, the location is great, their coffee is delicious, employees very friendly and helpful, feels like you're working from home. Will definitely be going more often.
