Coworking Space: Osakan Space in Osaka

The people there are awesome and the location is fantastic! I really enjoyed learning to make Takoyaki, having pot luck dinners, and going Karaoke with the members I met. The owner is an incredible female entrepreneur with a brilliant sense of humor. Small, but close knit. I especially loved how everyone has lunch together :) Even though my Japanese was very basic, everyone made me feel super welcomed! Arigato~

The space looks really nice... I wish we could have spent more time there actually working. There was no staff to check us in and the single member is a testament to the actual problem we head. The space offers a day pass, however, with nobody to provide said day pass there is not much of a point. We spent an hour trying to get to the space only to be turned away by the staff who couldn't be bothered to show up for work. Would be 0 stars but the space is nice and clean and the member who was there was very helpful. I would recommend at least having an automated sign-in system or way for members to check in a drop in if nobody is there during the day.

I had such a fantastic time in Osakan Space. I was there for 3 months. The people there are very warm and eager to meet new people. I often get invited to lunches with the group and get to know the area. There are a great mix of skills in the group, from web developer, designer, to photographer. Osaki-san is a wonderful host, eager to get to know and help you. I'd recommend this space for those wishing to get work done while connecting with the local community.

I stayed about 1 month and was fully satisfied, kind people, good work place to concentrate and location was also great. I'll definitely visit again when I go to Osaka again, there's no need of considering other options :) Strongly recommend

Many members help me a lot by giving useful information and communicating friendly. In addition, I could find a designer who designed beautiful business card and company logo for me. I spent three weeks working there earlier this year, and have only good things to say. The people managing the place are super nice and welcoming. It is very easy to get in touch with the other co-workers and socialize, and yet there is no problem focusing on work. There is always a group going out to lunch, open to everyone, but there is zero pressure to join, and the composition varies daily. The location is just a minute away from the central Honmachi station. Wifi has been working without a hiccup. This space is equally welcoming to Japanese as well as foreign workers. It is a great place to connect to Japan if it is your first time there.

Osakan space is one of those places where everything is just perfect. The staff is helpful and awesome, the coffee is cheap and roasted from fresh beans, the atmosphere is friendly and quiet. Working hours are flexible and you can come early in the morning and stay until 11pm if needed. You can cook instant ramen and eat in dining area or just visit one of many close-by restaurants and have a healthy lunch. And all this for just 110$ per month. I don't think anybody will find better deal in whole Japan, not only Osaka. 11/10

Located within 2-minute walk from Honmachi Subway Station is Osakan Space. It's a cozy coworking place that has multiple seating areas inside depending on your work style and status (i.e. focus desks for those who are working to a deadline, dining table for snacking and chitchat etc.) There are quite a few international people visiting this place for short-term and mid-term. Some of the staff speak English, and there is usually someone who can speak the language. Registration is easy and efficient. All you need is a Facebook account and a credit card. Enjoy your stay in Osaka!

Osakan space is a really great place to work and meet japanese people or foreigners. The staff is really friendly, it's ideally located between Namba and Umeda. If you come to japan for a week or a few years, don't miss it !

It's an amazing little space between Namba and Umeda, perfect for freelancers. Really friendly staff and quiet environment, with great views to the temple. Make sure you assist to the weekly events!

Warm staff, awesome community built around who helped me a lot when i arrived in Japan!!! Definitely recommend it ! The location is ideal in the central Osaka, near all commodities, lot of events and occasion to promote yourself and your work.
