Coworking Space: Freeware Labs Kemang in Jakarta

We received a great tour when we arrived, the staff was super nice with us. The space is very nice too, comfortable chairs and with different areas that you can work from. But we arrived on an afternoon and during the whole period we stayed there, the internet didn't work, around 5 hours. Something that the staff says happens from time to time since internet providers in Indonesia are horrible. I understand that but at the airbnb I'm staying for example, in 1 month we just had no internet for 15 minutes so it's probably the area that the coworking is that's problematic. They were kind enough to not charge us for the daily passes as we only stayed for 5h and couldn't work properly as the internet was down. Anyway, even though we liked the place and really wanted a 24/7 coworking space (which makes a lot of difference for us), it's inviable for us to work somewhere the internet can be down multiple times a week for 5+ hours :(

Maskoolin.com has been one of the tennant at Freeware Spaces Kemang for more than 6 months now. All I can say is that Freeware offers a very unique vibe and strong sharing culture within the company there (mostly startups). Not just work & productivity, we also do lot of fun stuff together (Karaoke, Movies, After-work Drinks). Not forget to mention they also have this monthly event called Freeshare, where they invite great people from great companies (Gojek, Bukalapak, etc) to share their successful stories.

This place is really good, the people are awesome, eventough it's shared space in some area, you can still have your own privacy. The vibes really boost the productivity

Love the space, they provide individual and also private spaces. The place is big enough for events for 40+ people and a cool place to have a BBQ party.

Super cool place to work and networking with other million dollar start up companies. There's no other co-working space that gave free sharing session with giants such freeware spaces

Location is awesome, lots of hangout spots within walking distance, lots of hotels as well. Price a bit steep but worth every penny. Gotta love the furnitures inside, modern take but also calm enough not to be distracting. And also they have really2 good community events with top notch speakers, if they are having one when you're around, don't miss it!

I split time between Jakarta and Bali. Decided to join Freeware after checking out several other places in the area. To me the location is superb, many interesting events, friendly folks, and quiet. All good!!!

They've got good seminars every month with great speaker from successful startup companies. Every several months they make gatering party where companies and investors could meet up and networking.
