Excellent atmosphere, excellent community. You can always find someone in the space to hang with or just drink a good coffee. When I enter KAPTÁR I feel I get my second home. Being among the team feels really comfortable.

Kaptár has everything a coworking space needs: all kind of working options one can need from standing desks through the classic tables to comfy couches, meeting rooms, storage space and of course - great coffee. But what makes it really special is the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the inspiring community. The team is always there if you need anything, they are kind and helpful, just like the fellow Kaptarians - you’ll never feel alone here!

Kaptár focuses not only on giving you a place to work but also a place to hang out and socialize. When I moved to Hungary some years ago, I knew three people in this city. Now I know at least 50 I consider friends or acquaintances, and most of these come from Kaptár. Many of my friendships have grown out of here, and I even spent my past two Christmases with people from Kaptár and their families. Also, that's just the socializing part. I've also worked with other people from Kaptár because the right people are always at hand somehow.

Kaptar is cool designed space, continuously developed forward. Located in the very heart of a cool city, the powners&team work not only on the space itself, but they invest in keeping a vivid community, with good connections, cool people and lots of smile.

You will find here a meeting point, a second home, an "instant family" feeling with like-minded people.

Flexibility, friendly,

It's a spaceous location that suits for different work settings, and they have very supportive hosts. The furniture – designed particularly for this place – makes it a unique environment. The space is great for freelancers and startuppers, they do regular events for networking and exchange.

Kindest staff ever, centrally located, inclusive community

The positive spirit of the place, the community is awsome, Kaptar is proactive and flexible. And there are many intresting programmes and meetups.

The community at KAPTÁR is very supportive and lively. There are regular events to get to know each other, have engaging (gymnastic game) or relaxing (massage) breaks, or leave the city to explore the surroundings with other members at Kaptar. The opening hours are really comfortable covering 12 hours / day, and promote focused work. They have great coffee, plus there are many little shops next by to either get lunch or buy some snacks for in between. Best feature is the sleeping corner, i love the idea and support it whenever i can/have to. The floor plan with the flex desks could be slightly improved using different furniture, so that it provides a smarter layout with more space. I recommend this space!

Kaptar was a great coworking spot for me for just under a month while I was in Budapest. They are centrally located, right across from the Basilica. Wifi was stable, there are plenty of flex desk space (including a few couches), though I did find myself looking for an empty spot during some busy days. There are small 'fishbowl' rooms that are first come, first serve, that are really nice for a quick call. While I didn't interact with too many while there, they did host a social gathering one Friday evening with food and drinks and was able to meet some people there. Would go again!

Simply one of the best co-working space I've worked from. Very friendly staff and a great community. They're extremely organised from the welcome emails to the events they run and the weekly newsletter. The space is nice and light and the quiet room is great for focussing. Meeting rooms are excellent and very affordable if you need to run training sessions online or have video calls. I also like the fact that there were plenty of spaces to work from as well as stand up desks. WiFi is super fast too. I'm already looking forward to coming back the next time I'm in Budapest.

From day 1 I felt welcome and embraced by the community at Kaptar. People are really friendly and warm, I have spent 5 of the best days and met incredible new friends. I will definitely come back. The speed of the internet is really good, you have meeting rooms to take phone-calls and a very helpful Kitchen section with a Dishwasher. Yo can work from a tall chair, a regular chair or a sofa. There is even a place for you to take a nap if you feel like it. The overall experience of working here is great. It doesn't matter if you are staying in Buda or Pest –Although Kaptar is on Pest side–, because getting there is so easy.

It is really an uplifting feeling to walk into Kaptár day-by-day, in the heart of Budapest, in front with Basilica! Theses guys created a spaceous multifunctioning office, where everybody can find his/her place, service or even friends. Partly because of the architecure of the space and party thanks to Kaptár guys enthusiasm, the community is uniquely well formed! You can always meet new people, but also have the good old guys there with whom you can catch a drink after work or can have a coffee in the kitchen when you’re having a hard day, no matter where you’re from, what languages you speak, what’s your business is, or why you’re there. The cummunity is what really makes Kaptár what it is - those precious people, who have their aims and aspirations to work well and efficient to build something good and to leave a footprint in the world.

I spent about 3 years in Kaptar coworking space, app 3 days per week. This was a very productive period in my life and simultaneously also a very social period. We had lunchtime spent on a particular subject, quiz nights and fun breaks. Above all that, Christmas parties packing toys for charity programme and picknick in nature. What I like is that friendships made in Kaptar tend to last outside of it and expand with time. I loved it and I'm going back within 2 weeks, as nothing boosts my productivity than working and having breaks in this kind of environment :-)

I have been a Kaptarian for 6 months now. Still love to open the door (the fingerprint reader does not work 4 out of 5 times :) ) and enjoy the busy atmosphere (unless I arrive before 10, when it is REALLY empty. This pic occured to me: Kaptár is like my skin as I was a baby... it grew with me :D as Kaptár grows since the years I'm a member, they keep fresh, cosy and smooth. The co-worker are cool and sypathetic AND just in the right way different then me, so it's always inspiring to have a chat in the kitchen, at a community event I (leave out the sportiv ones :D and) take the fun and playful and business oriented ones. And culture. yeah. As organizer of events myself I'm well hosted with the flexible booking possibilities and always caring support.

What I could have experienced: great balance between efficient working hours and leisure time with interesting people from all over the world. Wifi is fast and stable, and coffee is good as well. Hosts and staff members are kind, available and really helpful. They organize different programs to build a really good community and to support people to interact. But they are also pay attention when people are really had working and doesn't need and interactions. I prefer to work in the focus room, but spend time in the kitchen area. I always have answers and solutions. Love the place :)

Kaptar has an excellent atmosphere, has an excellent location and an always friendly staff. I like to go in every once in a while when I spend some time in Budapest. I wish I could spend more time in this space to benefit more from the community and to participate in events. Kaptar offers various seating options; you can rent meeting rooms and got a small kitchen that you can use. In the area, you can find outstanding possibilities for lunch or coffee if you wish to have a meeting outside. Within walking distance, you can see the most beautiful areas of Budapest.

I split my time between working at home and working at Kaptár and it feels so comfortable. It's location is fantastic (very central but in a quite ally right next to beautiful pedestrian streets, great restaurants and famous Budapest sites), the people are friendly but respectful (there are chats but you are also left alone if need be), the atmosphere is facilitating but homey enough and you can find everything you need. There are events, too, so we can mingle and get to know each other. I also found some coworkers in the same or related fields. It's always great to walk in and get some social vibes before diving in the work. And it's quite comfortable with at lease 4 different kinds of seating arrangements and desks you can use (of varying heights and sizes).

When I first moved to Budapest, I contacted three coworking spaces, and Kaptár answered in 30 minutes. I never heard from any of the other places, but that's not why I chose Kaptár. Since I'm from the north, I obviously liked the Scandinavian decor but, more to the point, the people who work at Kaptár are all so nice and forthcoming. My biggest fear of moving to a new city was to become just another expat asshole that sits around and dumps on his host country. That doesn't happen at Kaptár because of the fantastic mix of locals, visitors, and foreigners living here. And so we eat together, have game nights, go bicycling in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Many of the people there are now friends and not just co-workers. I hope you can hear the violins 'cause they are still playing after 1½ years at the office.

This is a lovely place to work. I like to arrive in the early morning and see how the office is waking up! I know I will spend my day in an inspiring community which is full with potential and new ideas. The end of the day I am always feel it was a productive day. Really uplifting! There are many place around to eat, drink a good coffee and enjoy your time after work. The place is cosy and comfortable, many different working spot to choose, depends of your mood. You should try out KAPTÁR, you will love it, I promise!

When I moved to Budapest a few months ago I compared many coworking places and tried 3 of them personally. In KAPTAR I found a friendly, positive and helpful community full of energy and motivation. They not only provide convenient and effective working stations but also organize community events where the KAPTAR members can get to know each other even better. There are a lot of interesting people with interesting stories in KAPTAR, it's a pleasure to meet so many nice people in one place. You can rent your own fixed desk or you can just come and go with a laptop, they have solutions for everyone. It's a pleasure to work in KAPTAR, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a coworking place. I'd give a 10/10 rating. Or even 100/100

Kaptár is a 360 degree experience: the amenities (new chairs!!! recently, really cute ones), the culture and I should have started with this: the community. I am proud to be a member for several years now!

Kaptár provides a really cosy and friendly atmosphere that makes me feel welcome all the time. A lot of thought is put into tiny details that make your work time as pleasant as possible. I like especially 3 things in Kaptár: 1. You can even have an afternoon nap on the top of the meeting rooms if you want to gain energy for the rest of the day- just like home :) 2. The staff is amazing. They are simply good people, like your friends. If you are a complete stranger and your are in trouble - like you lost your phone, they give you their full support to solve your problem - their own phone, internet access, computer, and their willingness to help. 3. The people there fun and multicultural, so if you want to feel the international vibe in Budapest, come in here:)

Working in Europe in tech consultancy and sales, I am often in Budapest to meet colleagues and clients. Kaptar is my number one go-to place to work collaboratively on time-sensitive projects, as it is centrally located (and thus convenient for everyone to reach), and boasts every amenity you expect in a co-working environment. Hi-speed WiFi, private meeting rooms, copiers and printers, etc.—it's all there. Costs are reasonable, the staff is super attentive and helpful, and the overall vibe is professional and positive. Couldn't recommend a better place!

An exceptional coworking space with a rarely good location, between the beautiful Opera and the great Basilica in the very heart of Budapest. The name of the place describes it's essence very well: a spontaneous yet converging connection of great people creating valuable things. Our team spent a few months at a coworking space in Vietnam and thought we were spoiled there. We were very wrong - Kaptar is where we are truly spoiled. Each morning after you swipe your finger through the fingerprint-scanner which unlocks the door, you are greeted by very friendly hosts. Next, you go grab your $.75 coffee and get seated, at a couch, bar, or table. My personal favorite is the bar where I can watch the people walk by. There are never issues of too many people. I don't know exactly why but I find myself very relaxed and happy at Kaptar. The location is also perfect. It is *very* quiet where we are a 1 minute walk from a busy street with lots of good food and shopping.

I would love to work here, if I didn't have my own office!

This place is excellent for coworking - I am here with a team of 4, and we are able to work individually and hope into the conference rooms when we need to work together almost at will. Well run, nice people and very well organized. A win win win. Well done Kaptar!

Kaptar has everything I need to get my work done during the day: a quiet and relaxing work environment, offerings for food and coffee, sound-proof meeting rooms - all in a convenient location, too. The space is situated on a quaint side street right next to the city center and public transportation, with plenty of local healthy options for lunch and other places to explore around it like gyms or cafes. So far, it's been the best space I've worked in because I value these things most. Other co-working spaces I've been in have good amenities but bad atmosphere. The way Kaptar focuses on these tiny details for its customers is what makes it stand out.

Wonderful office, nice people, great leaders. We are holding here our Toastmasters events for 4 years and we love it. It at the center of the center in Budapest. I have been to many co-working offices even in Silicon Valley, but Kaptar is far ahead.

If you need a place to work in Budapest, Kaptar is the one for you. It's located conveniently right in the city center, a few blocks from Deak ter, where 3 subway lines meet.

I worked here for almost 4 years. I can honestly tell you: You wouldn't be able to find a better place to work from in Hungary.

When I first arrived here, I toured every single cowork space to find the best, and Kaptar beat all the competition. It's very sunny and well lit, tastefully decorated, and furnished with exactly all the amenities my team and I need. The staff is very friendly, and it's a sociable environment without be distracting. The other coworks were some combination of dark, messy looking, or antisocial, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the exact opposite of all of that in Kaptar!

Just love popping in - and always meeting some really nice well known or brand new faces - but already feeling like returning home:-)

If you meet the creators of Kaptár, you'll understand why it's such an exceptionally welcoming place. Dóri and Áron followed their best ideas and are continuously developing everything further. What you'll experience of it: a place fresh and professional, cosy and friendly but elegantly supporting business. And no, there's no exam for members to get in, but somehow you'll be surprized to find all inspiring and fascinating people around you.

Perfect if you want not only a place for work but a friendly community as well.

Kaptár is a very good choice if somebody would like to work at a coworking place. The community is very helpful and the office has a "feel like at home" athmosphere. Every Wednesday there is a community lunch where the members can chat with each other, can know each other much better. There are many workshops, community breakfast and peresentation where people can learn a lot of important things.

Nice boss, nice place nice everything.

We could hold a small simulation training, without disturbing anyone at the cowork place, because there are meeting rooms with soundproof glasses. We had fun, we were loud, and during the training I was worried whether we are not too loud? :) After the training the crew informed me that they couldn't hear a word, because of the soundproof glaases! Fantastic! +1 thing I really liked: there was a special wall at the room, where you can write on like a whiteboard. It's really funny. :)

KAPTÁR is the best co-working office in the city. I really like their events. Anytime I Go there, they have a nice word, some tasty bites and very high level events.

We attended several meetings at Kaptar which is a good place for freelancers, entrepreneurs or anyone doing business and needs a place to sit down or have a meeting. The owners are really helpful and accomodate most of your queries even booking tickets to the theatre or calling a cab.

Located in middle of downtown, still amasingly calm space, huge windows, friendly community. Whenever I'm there I realize I get my work done much quicker and easier, the supportong enviroment basically doubles efficiency.

Working on my own but nut alone in a friendly living room-like area, have a glass of water with lemon slices, have inspiring chat with people, get good ideas, building network, make friendship, take part on the community lunch, have all of required comfort: all these I can get in KAPTÁR Community Office.

I regurarly spend a few days working at Kaptar when I am in Hungary (I live in Germany, but travel to Budapest quite often) and I enjoy working from Kaptar a lot. Extremely friendly crew, great location and facilities, sometimes even social lunches with all the people. Also great for some spontaneous networking over a coffee. Can only recommend.

I go to Kaptar once a week in average, I work as an IT consultant I would mention the community in the first place, I love going back there to meet my friends who I got know during one of my earlier stays. I have a lot of phone calls, there are many phone rooms where I can do these alone, not disturbing, and not disturbed by others. There are now two floors, one is more quiet and provide fix desks with an office-feeling, while on the ground floor there is one huge room with hot desks, with a feeling somewhere between an office and a cafe ... I recommend the sofa for a good nap after lunch :) I get all kind of office services that I need: a stable wifi, printing, scanning, phone rooms

I love about KAPTÁR that it is located very well. It couldn't be at a better place. The people are fantastic and I'm very inspired by them every day. Kaptár is a unique spot in the middle of Budapest. It is really like a hive as its name suggests - once you get in, you are in the flow of working focused step by step with and surrounded by inspiring individuals.It is a great place to concentrate on your task and as well benefit from the experts who are also based in Kaptár. The founders are wholhearted people and this is what they could transfer to the athmosphere of the whole place.

Amazing location, everything you need is really close (lunch, banking, public transport, evening places...) The coworkers are pretty much different, having a great base though also always new people come, which I love the most. The community is lovely, you can always turn to someone to grab a coffee, though could work without interruption if you wish so.

Whenever i pass by Kaptar on my Budapest visits I feel like I am at Home. Its a beautifully done coworking office with lovlely staff. I have only seen the second floor when it was still under construction. With all the love and dedication that went into it I am sure it will be an at least as beautiful and well planned and organized working space as the ground floor. In winter Kaptar is a warm place to go to and in hot Budapest summers its one of the few wonderfully comfortably cold places.

KAPTÁR has an enigmatic magnetism, that attracts people to stay. In comparison to other offices I've visited, it really feels like a whole another world. The location is also more than adequate: the sixth district is one of the best places in Budapest, the buildings from the fin de siécle era reflect the sublime of the Architectural. Last but not least, the duality between the intimate interior and the constant buzz of the ever-changing, yet profoundly connected community give a sense of belonging.

KAPTAR is my second home, my HQ in the heart of the city. It's a place with a true, vibrant community, and a warm atmosphere. A place where I can focus on my work and where I can relax after a heavy workday lying on the sofa reading a book. Highly recommended!

I'm working here for a year now and I think, the fact that I have absolutely no intention to change tells a lot :) The working space and the phisical infrastructure is nice, comfi and practical, but what really makes the difference for me, that's people. It's a real community with busy social life, an extraordinarily open-minded team, where you feel like you have always been a member, from the first moment, when you arrive. Even if you stay for some days or a year, you can't get bored. At least, I couldn't :D

I´ve been working at Kaptár for 6 months and since that time I´ve learned to love Mondays. I usually start my workdays with a smile, waiting to see all my friends and interesting new people every day. Besides the inspiring input, that I get from the others, I also work much more efficient. At home I wasn´t able to work focused. The place is the perfect mixture of a nice living room and working space with huge windows, tables, couches and a cool kitchen, where community members like to share and have a nice chat.

There are always interesting people in Kaptar. From renowned professors, to serial entrepreneurs, coaches, artists, developers. Kaptar also hosts a ton of events, so you literally never leave Kaptar, the events come to you. They are very strong in supporting youth movements and women equality. Make sure you check out the exhibition on the walls- there is always a new artist showcasing their portfolio.
