Overview of Innovation House Kallio

Innovation House brings a new generation of innovation culture combining a sparring site, a network and a business angel nest, where counterparts complement each other. Its operation helps build and grow companies by combining well-being, quality and cutting-edge business. Innovation House Finland's founders had a dream to change the business culture in Finland by helping companies move forward with passion and courage without forgetting individual well-being. The operations serve both Finnish companies for international markets and international companies looking for a foothold in the Finnish market. Innovation House´operations promote the growth and internationalization of start-up companies functioning both as a place and a network. This is a combination of strong data and creative freedom, as well as a broad network of experts with a focus on sharing and transparency. The sense of community is strong and members are keen to participate in the activities and events organized by Innovation House, from after-work networking to mountain climbing. The high end services are delivered with care and a very special touch created by the founders, in fact many members say they feel like coming home when they arrive. A deal-bell is used when members strike a good deal which brings everyone together to celebrate, also failures are shared as a learning process. Many start-up members have reached incredible growth during their time at IH and even IH itself has grown to become international. Innovation House is much more than a co-working space, it is an energetic and inspirational start-up community where innovators can connect in an authentic and collaborative environment.

I have been working at the Innovation House Finland Kallio since it was opened in September 2018 and could not be happier! I fully recommend IHF as a working space, as it keeps surprising you positively all the time! The space is amazing not only by it´s interior design, but because of all the services provided, staff members and specially because of all our coworkers. I work alone, but never feel alone when I am at the office. You can always go to work and concentrate 100% without interruptions if you want, but you can also work more relaxed way and find interesting and innovative discussion with others. There is so much information around you and you can always find help or someone who knows someone who can help. WiFi works perfectly, we never run out of coffee and the light-wall makes sure you can survive the darkest time of the year. It is easy to access and I can work with flexible hours. Plus who does not like a pool in the office?

Innovation House Kallio is an excellent coworking place! Members there support each other, do cooperation and the support and service provided by Innovation House staff is outstanding! They listen to their members and always seek ways to develop services and how they could best help companies in their various matters (e.g. growth, investor relations, customers, marketing etc.). Above all, here it truly feels that all members are really coworking together. In addition, location is very good. There are plenty of nice cafeterias & restaurants nearby and public transportation is very good. I highly recommend this space and this place simply rocks!

Innovation House Kallio is a vibrant and genuine startup community in the heart of Kallio district. We have settled our own office in the coworking space and have been super happy with the decision! Staff of Innovation House Kallio are doing sincere work to help startups to connect with corporate members of the community and our company have gained great leads from them. Various supportive services ranging from accounting and legal to yoga. Kallio coworking space has even sauna, gym and 17 metres pool in the premises which are all free of the charge for the members. Though not located in the downtown Helsinki, Innovation House Kallio is close to subway and just two stops from the Central Railway Station.
